This hotel is clean, staff that I encountered were super nice and the location was within walking distance to upscale or mid level shopping, Whole Foods, Starbucks, restaurants and transportation. The $15 parking [self parking with all day in and out] seemed reasonable for the area. The underground lot appeared ample and secured. I had breakfast in […] the lobby which I found for about $10 was also reasonable and quite good. Comfortable bed, mini fridge, clean bathroom and FREE wifi! I called front desk in advance of our arrival to have a crib placed in our room for our 4 month old which was not available by the time I checked in. The next day a gentleman that worked in the lobby, remebering us from the night before, made it his mission to get us the next available one which he did. I wish I knew his name to thank him here. That snag did not sour us. We had a great stay and will definitely look to stay here again when in the area. I have no info on the gym or pool but will look to use them next time. Read more

We liked the convenience and low cost of parking in the basement. The TV was very complicated; I never found a log of available channels or operating instructions. The location was very convenient for us.

the service was great throughout the 3 days we were there. very friendly.Great location for top of the line shopping and nice restarurants nearby. Our only surprise was the fact that at breakfast "many" of the tables were not cleared and the dining area looked messy. other than that very clean and convenient for our purposes.

Staff very friendly, prepared for our stay, and helpful. The facility is very high class. While we didn't eat there, we found the refrigerator in our room very nice, internet worked well. TV is beautiful also. They had coffee in the AM.

A wonderful and comfortable in an upscale neighborhood! We were very happy staying there for several days. Also, we discovered a charming neighborhood, Chevy Chase Town, which was a short walk away. The hotel is situated well for bus or Metro travel.

The few things that would improve my future visits to this hotel would be: 1) Better internet reception in the rooms- after trying to connect for 20 minutes I had to give up and go down to the business center which is inconvenient […] after working a long day. During my last visit, I couldn't connect my laptop to the internet at all. As I visit for business this makes things more difficult than they should be. I arrived very late on Friday, June29, after being shuffled from plane to plane, and I was exhausted. the front desk clerk, Chanda, was there to greet me with a smile and i went to a very clean room. I returned from a restaurant down the street in the wind and rain, and slept comfortably until late morning, waking up to several places without power […] and states of emergency, but my stay was never interrupted. The staff was very friendly. We could go to high end shops and places to eat, as well as, drug stores and fast food places. the metro was close and taxis were waiting at the hotel. Marriot Chevy Chase clean modern hotel. Within walking distance to Metro and dining. Pool was outside and closed at 8pm which seemed early for a beautiful summer evening. They offer free bicycles. Parking is $15 per day but you do have in and out privileges. Check in and out took only a matter of seconds. Very organized at the desk.

Breakfast in the hotel was confusing. No hostess seating, slow wait staff with more managers than waiters.They seemed to be two waiters short for Sunday breakfast. Even though everything was slow the food was served hot and tasty.

Beautifully remodeled and sparkling clean. Parking easy in and out with either garage or outside lot. Room is spacious but closet inadequate because safe interferes with opening doors fully and it is very shallow. Towels were thin.

Nice hotel- rates vary considerably but we received a very good rate. Not mayt places to eat nearby but rooms espcially confortable. Biggest drawback was the $15 per night parking charge. restaurant seemed always empty- if prices were more reasonable, it might bring in some customers. Even breakfast was expensive

My daughter and I chose this hotel in order to visit a couple of universities in the DC area. We were both totally impressed by the service provided, and by the physical aspect and cleanliness of the hotel. The food at the restaurant was also very impressive for a hotel of the price range of the hotel.
