Apart from the obvious advantage of this hotel, the staff is what makes me want to go back to it. I have found the staff consistently helpful and accommodating, which is refreshing. Cleanliness could be a little better. Nothing major, but noticeable. Rates are reasonable for what is offered. I have decided that this is my hotel of choice whenever I fly in/out of PHL.

All the same amenities as a holiday inn but double the price. Nothing special, but still a nice stay.

My wife and I needed a place to stay for one night to break up a long drive on our way to an event. This place served the purpose for a reasonable price. It was located right off the main highway and easy to get to. We were satisfied by our room which was exactly as described. It was clean, quiet and comfortable and was smoke free as we asked for. The hotel is clean and well-situated, just off I-95. I would give the room comfort a 3.5 out of 5. This is only because it was a bit warm and stuffy in our room, and the thermostat would not fully cooperate (that is, we were not able to set it low enough to make it comfortably cool in the room). i was surprised not to find a small fridge in my room.so after unpacking i returned to the desk to request a fridge be put in my room. THE FRONT DESK SAID THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE .Only suits have them and i was not about upgrade. the inn was not full i might add.the nite befoe we stayed in a Hampton Inn for $12.00 less money with fridge andy micro. My wife decided that we should visit our granddaughter at U Del just days before the weekend. The on-campus motel was full so I turned to Expedia. The Holiday Inn Express was a just off an I-95 interchange with a state highway (273) leading to the middle of the campus (only 10-15 minutes away depending on traffic. The facility seems new. The bath was well appointed and clean. The free breakfast was exceptional in terms of range of menu and quality of food: eggs, bacon, yogurt, fruit, fresh cinnamon buns, a variety of pastries, juices and more with plenty of space in an inviting atmosphere. It's close to 95, it's only a couple years old, and it's so nice, we stayed an extra nice. The breakfast buffet was great with omlettes, warm cinnamon rolls, doughnuts, fresh fruit, yogurt, lemonade, juices, coffees and teas, meats, hard boiled eggs, and all kinds of stuff, plenty to choose from. "Very Clean and Quiet"
This hotel gets an A for cleanliness. I was very impressed to even find full mattress encasements on the beds to protect them from possible infestations.
