It's not like Hilton is an inexpensive hotel...to add insult to injury, I had to pay $5 per day to park my car for the priviledge of staying in their hotel. My guests also had to pay for parking to visit me. If you need $5, add it to the room rate so I don't notice you nickel and diming me. The irritation of the parking fee and the inconvenience (once we checked out, my parking card no longer worked so I couldn't get out without maintenance opening the gate manually) are something I could do without and will stay elsewhere next time.

I stayed her 3 nights for business in Emeryville so the location was convenient and just a 10 minute walk to where I needed to be, and 15 minutes to decent shopping, if you wanted that. The exercise room could use better cardio machines, a working tv and working tv on the units that had them. When I worked out there were no towels nor antibacterial wipes for wiping machines down and I every other person commented negatively about this also. My key didn't work the first time and it took 15 minutes to get a key to work. The front desk didn't seem to care much about help using their shuttle around the area but at the same time most of them were friendly enough. The bed was not comfortable and my co-worked said the same thing. The room and bathroom were clean and there was a restaurant on site for food even later at night.

Very nice Hilton. The rooms were nice, modern, and clean. My only complaint is that our neighbors were loud and kept me up most of the night. There was a Cal game going on, so I think that had something to do with it. Otherwise the breakfast buffet was very very good and had a lot of fresh options. With the night stay, you get the free breakfast. Overall, very nice and I would stay here again (except not on a football weekend!)

Needed to do something in Berkeley, so went here. The hotel has obviously recently been redone -- everything looked new. Staff was very attentive and nice. As far as convenience, convenient to Berkeley and convenient to San Franciso, from the Oakland side, of course, and convenient to Oakland airport. However, it in at the edge of an office park and next to the Interstate, so it's not in a scenic setting -- just very functional. The buffet in the morning was also very good. The scrambled eggs were actually fresh -- unusual for many buffets. If you need a reasonably priced hotel that is in great condition, this is one to consider.

When I got the room I was so disappointed because we didn't fit on the bed.. my husband is 6'2 with my baby and myself couldnt sleep nicely on the bed. The Hotel itself was very nice and clean the problems were with the front office staff who were rude and not helpful at all. The night we stayed the Hotel was extremely busy and as a result the front desk could not keep up with the demands of the guest. A request for extra towels, blankets and pillows went completely ignored for two hours. After three phone calls to the front desk I finally went and found a maid and got the items myself. Also our view from our 2nd floor room looked over the one story office space attached to the hotel so we saw AC and duct work out of our window which was not very attractive. If they had more front office people when they are that busy it would have been a much better experience as the Hotel was nice. One other positive note - the breakfast in the morning was delicious!
