Quite a pleasant stay, breakfast is disappointing though.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient to many things"
A comfy hotel but not extravagant. I wish my wake up call had not been mistakenly done at 4am instead of the 6:30 time I asked for. Room is fairly basic but the bed was wonderfully comfortable. Very close, within walking distance, to many things in the downtown area. Breakfast included was great with good variety and fresh food and a wonderful view […] of city and a marina. Maybe a little expensive for this quality of hotel but still worth it if you want to be close to downtown and save a few $$. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Located in Downtown San Diego"
Loved the hotel - It had easy access to I5 which was great for me because I was visiting my husband who is currently on base in Coronado and I5 is the way to get there! The hotel is right in downtown San Diego which was surprisingly clean ( I currently live in Boston). I am going to be moving to San Diego and the hotel happened to be very close to where […] my husband and I are moving and we were able to go see the place this weekend. Basically, location was more than ideal but also the hotel itself was very nice - clean and updated and the staff was very helpful. I have stayed at other hotels who have seemed to not have enough staff at certain times to deal with the flow of guests but this hotel did not have this problem! "A little noisy"
My stay was just "okay". The room was a little smaller than expected. I arrived an hour earlier than check-in, so the plus here is that they had my room ready and I was able to check-in. However, they were doing some constrution/remodeling and it was noisy. Lots of banging on the walls until about 6pm. Parking is another thing. You are almost forced […] to do valet because they do not have self-parking and it's $26 a night. A bit high. Overall my stay was average. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
No self parking only valet cost $26/day. Did not disclosed at the time of booking.Genuine Expedia guest review
First time I entered this hotel I panic about booking it but the next day I felt like it was a good hotel except that it looks really old and close to the highway it is good to stay in it if u r visiting San Diego. Breakfast is complimentary and valet parking is about 28$Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Worst hotel I ever stayed at"
Don't waste your money here! The electricity went out in our room four times, we couldn't use the iron and blow dryer at the same time so we had to take turns. When the electricity went out at 1:30 am again there was no maintenance person on site that could fix it - so we had to rely on our cell phones but could not keep them charged so thank goodness […] I still had some bars left. The phone in the room was electric so it went out also - this was a safety issue - if a fire occurred during the night no one could get in touch with us. The pool was dirty and to get to the pool and fitness room you have to go outside pass the valley parking guys - in your bathing suit this was awkward! When we complained they told us "sorry there's nothing we could do about it." When we asked to speak with the GM he told his staff to tell us he was busy in an important meeting. The hotel did not care!!!!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Disappointed for price"
At one point the smell of cigarette smoke came blowing thru air conditioner. I hate that, but also have a toddler, so I was concerned. Restaurant was closed for construction so no room service, had to hoof it down the street after a long day's flight. Then, in morning, the hotel's airport shuttle we ordered for 6am sharp was 15 minutes late and the […] front desk didn't seem to care. The room was lovely otherwise, and I liked the dispensers in the shower for shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"A Little Disappointed"
We stayed at the Four Points LAX Hotel and it was awesome. So I decided to stay at your San Diego Four Points instead of Embassy Suites cause he enjoyed the service and quality of the hotel. I was disappointed from the time I checked in as if we weren't a good customer. Your front desk people if not mistaken there were (4) of them. I had to wait for […] few minutes before somebody looked up and asked if I needed help (Rachel). She was pleasant and helpful but the rest of your employees did not make us feel welcome. This will probably be our first and last time we will stay with you. you have excellent bell hop guys that actually should be the ones at the front desk. Thank you !!!!! and I will definetly let people know how we were welcome at your hotel. Thank you bell hop and Rachel Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Close to Convention Center"
Room was great, only concern was construction that was going on. I'm sure ii'll be nice when completed. Other then the construction it was a good stay for me, close to downtown and to my conference.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"It was a nice room."
There was construction going on in the lobby, but the staff was very helpful and my room was comfortable.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Older hotel, somewhat centrally located."
The hotel is older and under renovations. It's located near little Italy, other than numerous very expensive restaurants there's little else there. Having said that, we did enjoy the farmers market on Saturday. The staff is friendly, the hotel is in poor condition. I would give it a two star. Very expensive for what you got.Genuine Expedia guest review
Overall good hotel experience. The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. I brought my own pillow with me and was dismayed to come in and find it left on the floor by the cleaning staff. No other issues and I would say this is a good hotel. Reasonably close to Balboa Park and Downtown as well.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel close to freeway"
The stay was great everyone was friendly and fast with room service. For a short stay it wasn't so bad. The only problem I had was the parking was super expensive being that I'm paying to stay there I think it should be free but I understand its Cali so most place you have to pay to park but $20 a day is a bit much. And there was no jucuzzi. But overall […] it was convienant to everything and everyone was nice. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Great stay. Friendly, helpful staff. Location was good because it was close to the historic downtown park and museums, as well as waterfront. We walked to everything. Hotel is undergoing remodeling, which was less than ideal.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Odd layout, but good rooms"
First time at this hotel. The round, cramped layout made for tough parking and an difficult to get in and out. However, the rooms were recently updated and comfortable. It is located right next to the freeway, so it is a bit loud. The hotel lobby area is under construction, so they had an ad-hoc breakfast room that was nice. Not bad for the price.Genuine Expedia guest review

I have stayed here several times.. both most recently they were doing a bit of construction in the lobby and restaurant area. I did Not mind it much because when i returned after a few months the renovation was coming along greatly! major improvement!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Not worth the nightly price tag!! $$$"
My fiancée and I came here for a quick getaway and pick this hotel because it was within a mile radius of the gas lamp district. First off, beware of parking. They do not tell you when you book online that there is a $20 dollar a night fee to park on site. And to top it off, the parking spaces are built for Fiat's, no offense to Fiat. If you drive a […] full size pick-up like I do, then your going to have to park on the top level and there are only a handful of those spots. Now onto the rooms. They advertised two queen-sized beds in our room. What we got were two full-sized beds. Have you ever tried sleeping two grown adults inside of a full? We tried to get another room with a one king-sized bed but unfortunately they were booked solid. The room was small but semi remodeled and for the most part clean. Did I mention the parking wasn't free as stated online? That made me mad, I'm not going to lie. If I'm going to have to pay for parking, I should have the right to know up front when I'm booking the room online. The one thing this hotel have going for itself it the location. Your only a mile from the gas lamp district and that the main reason we came to SD. Hotels closer to the district were at least a $100 dollars more a night. In conclusion, if you can afford to pay a little more, I would go elsewhere. Between the parking situation and the small cramped beds and room, next time I'm in the SD...I'll chose to stay elsewhere!!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Coventry located in downtown friendly staff, clean comfortable room. Continental breakfast on top floor with view of the harbor Hotel is undergoing remodeling at this time, So the lobby is small and the restaurant is also closed. Parking is pricey $20 per nightGenuine Expedia guest review
"Close to Airport"
It was ok. Wasnt happy with construction taking place or $20 extra dollars to park. Also only having ice machines on even floors was somewhat of a hassle. The elevators move extremely slow. They did however offer a continental breakfast which was nice. I feel they could improve the rooms by adding a small fridge and microwave. For the price of a room […] it would have been a nice touch. "Do NOT stay here!"
Limited parking so you have to park on street 5-10 minute walk. No dinning or bar; being renovated. Only 2 elevators with 16 floors to cover; takes 5 minutes to get one with stops on several floors to get to your floor. Room on second floor had sound all night that sounded like toilet flushing. At 3 AM some drunk wanted in my room and when he couldn't […] open the door, decided to URINATE on door and entry. Security late to get to room to find him. Very disappointed! "Nice place, be careful of remodeling and parking"
The room was quite comfortable. Although I overlooked I-5 and I could see planes landing from my window, it was still not overly noisey for me. The lobby was crowded when I arrived, possibly because of the remodeling on the entry level. Finding a parking spot that was not marked for handicap use only was difficult. I was told that they had filled all […] of their hotel parking and I had to park a couple of blocks away. Although annoying, it was not hard walk. "Not so great hotel."
The lobby was under construction while we were there and the hotel was absolutely packed. The breakfast service could not keep up with the number of guests. The location was decent and walkable, but we would not chose this hotel again. Just kind of dingy, and the rooms were very small for a family of 4.Genuine Expedia guest review
Location wad good Wslking distance to gas lamp district. Check in was no problem until they hit me up for $20 per day parking fee. If you have a large vehicle parking will be a problem. The hotel was OK. The facilities were under construction so no food and no drinks. They put us in room and we had to listen to jack hammers for a few hours so no sleep. More of a business oriented atmosphere. Nice complimentary Happy Hour with beer and appetizer. Rooms were small, but cozy. Pay to park, but there is plenty of free street parking two blocks North. I wouldn't expect any less from the Sheraton Brand, but could've expected a little more.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
They are in the middle of the freeway and midtown roads so there was a great deal of noise with poor quality windows to soundproof the room as a result I had a very bad night's sleep for 2 nights. They also charged us for 2 nights of parking when we were told that it would be free. They were in the middle of renovating the dining room so we were unable […] to judge the first floor.
