"Good place to stay - but you will PAY"
Everything was fine, but it cost over $200 for my one bed, one person room. The attached restaurant was very good, and reasonably priced. All the staff people were great. However, I'll check the new Hampton Inn next time.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good place in great area"
The room are large and clean. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is good. Too bad there isn't much to do in Kayenta but the location so close to Monument Valley makes it a great place to stay while visiting the area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Be Aware of a lot of taxes"
We ordered the hotel because we wanted to go to monument Valley the day after. There is not a lot of hotels out there and Kayenta Inn had reasonable prices for that standard. Of course we could have checked our self before but we didnt expected that taxes could be that much higher just because we were in the Navajo area. In total we end up patient more […] than 40 dollars in taxes for one night! Around 25 %. Nice place but it was an unpleasent suprise checkning out. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good for a short stay"
The lokation is good for a short stay, but the service for breakfirst was poor. The breakfast buffet for a prize of 9,90 US$ has little choices and was not refilled very often. The served you a coffe, but you have to ask for a cup. The qualitiy of the room is very nice and comfortable. So stay in and dine out.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Overall this was a nice hotel, however, it was a bit expensive. I saw only 2 hotels in the area, but you pay for the location. The staff was friendly and our hotel room was clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This was a nice hotel room was nice but it shouldve been for over $200. Yes I know you pay for the location. They had a restaurant but you didn't get a free breakfast or even coffee with your room like any other hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"expensive if you are just going to monument valley"
it was one of the only hotels listed in a 30mile radius from monument valley. when we arrived we noticed a lot more were available. this hotel is way too expensive if you are just going to see mon.val.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location for Monument Valley"
Friendly staff, good location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was great and room facilities were brilliant. Unfortunately the price is far too high for hotels in Kayenta however.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice and clean"
Liked the simple and élégant room; the pool was nice and meals very authentic and good. Kids eat free.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Way overpriced but they have you cornered"
Unfortunately you have slim pickings if you are in this area (presumably to visit Monument Valley or Grand Canyon). Very expensive for a very average or even possibly sub-average motel. I guess it must not get warm all that often here, because you don't have any air conditioning in these rooms, at least not any that you are in control of. It was super […] hot and stuffy when we were there and it was early May. I'd hate to see it in August. I should note that I haven't had a/c at my residence for the past 8 years, so this is saying a lot. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Overpriced for all reasons."
ON SCALE OF ONE TO FIVE A ONE WAS WHAT WE RECEIVED.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Ok and convenient"
No refrigerator, no microwave, limited tv, slow internet. Second floor room with outdoor steps made getting luggage to room strenuous especially with high winds.Genuine Expedia guest review
We were assigned a nice big room with a separate kitchen, living room and bedroom. The couch and bed smelled a little musty thoughGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"30 minutes from Monument Valley"
They accept pets for a 25 dollar non-refundable fee but there's nowhere to walk pets that's not full of burs and knee high weeds and dirt. The rooms are nice and clean but the outside of the hotel is kind of a mess. As to cost, if this hotel were somewhere else and not in a tourist destination, the rooms would be in the 40 - 50 dollar range. No refrigerator […] or microwave in rooms. Restaurant down stairs in pricey but the food is decent. Blowing dirt 24/7 so be prepared. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"No air conditioning"
Unfortunately, the av didn't work but the problem was that there was no fan, or so I thought because the front desk just told me there was no ac or heat. A very unfortunate misunderstanding.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Given the room rate, I was somewhat disappointed by the condition of the room and customer service. Although the bed was comfortable and the room was clean, the room needs updating. The hotel location was convenient to the various scenic sites.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel was over priced and lacked room facilities ie; a fridge. Spend your money more wisely than I did.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Over priced hotel near Monument Valley."
The plan was to stay 2 nights. We almost left after one. The only thing that stopped us is the distance to a decent hotel. We heard normal conversations from both a joining rooms. The shower just dribbled the first morning. They got it fixed for the second morning. My wife had to chase the cleaning crew down on the first afternoon to get towels and […] soap. A much better idea for Monument Valley is to only stay one night. Unless you like to camp at an expensive hotel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
trip was great. Would Recommend your hotel. The hotel was very close to the things you would like to do in the park. The room was clean and very quiet.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Monument Valley Inn"
First greeter was not very helpful. We had to change rooms, they had us in a handicap room. Had to go to a double bed. Price was too high for the amenities.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
For the location it was fine. The staff went out of they're way to make your stay pleasantGenuine Expedia guest review
"Nice inside and friendly food staff"
Don't let the outside of the buildings with the rooms fool you. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant staff are extremely friendly and responsive. The food was delicious. The restaurant was clean and well decorated.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Clean but little pricey"
the overall impression of the hotel is that it's dowdy but clean. You have very limited choice in Kayenta----it's a dump of a town, but the only thing available if you are visiting Monument Valley and want to stay in the area. For breakfast, go the the Comfort Inn across the street for--- $8 you get a hot breakfast and can take some 'go food' like oranges/apples […] and yogurts for the road. "Clean and very comfortable"
Stay here for one night before visiting Monument Valley, looks a dated hotel but once inside the rooms are very clean and comfortable, granite tops in the bathroom too, much better than some chain hotels we've stayed in, the food in the restaurant was excellent, offering some Navajo dishes which were delicious, our server was so attentive and prices […] were very reasonable. Would definitely stay here again Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Just by the side of the main road"
Beautiful and well decorated spacious room for the number of rooms, they have only two wash machines which makes a long wait. There was no choice for setting the temperature in the room since they said central heating is on.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"nice hotel, need to book early"
nice, clean , friendly, unfortunately there were cops every where at the hotel, not sure if there was something going on or they were being extra cautious, but 5 cops and 3 canines were a little unnerving, but the hotel was niceGenuine Expedia guest review
excellent location for visiting Monument Valley and other landmark sites such as Natural Bridges in Utah just a short driveGenuine Expedia guest review
this is an older hotel - could hear upstairs guest quite well - had to turn on fan to drown out the noise. beds were comfy, restaurant was good for dinner, did not use for breakfast. quite close to Monument Valley. overall an ok place for a one night stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We checked in after 7 PM. We had 2 rooms reserved. Neither room had any hot water. This fact had to have been known by the front desk. So made the problem known to them. After dinner at the hotel, we were given 2 other rooms across the parking lot. When we went back to our original rooms to retrieve our luggage, neither door would open with the plastic […] keys we were given. Then a hotel employee finally came and removed the windows which allowed him access. This delayed our final check in to after 10 PM (we had a 4 year old with us who was completely tired and out of control. No assistance was offered with the luggage. What a nightmare! "Monument Valley visit"
Stayed here while visiting Monument Valley. The hotel didn't look like much from the outside but the rooms are nicely decorated and clean. Has a big bathroom with granite counter and very good lighting to do your makeup. They also give out Bath and Body Works soap for guests which is one of my favorite soap company. Also has a heater in the bathroom […] and the room A/C heater unit was pretty quiet. The only thing we didn't like was the slow flushing toilet which seems to be the norm in Arizona hotels we stayed at. Hotel has an onsite restaurant but we were always running late so we didn't have time for a sit down meal. The one thing we wanted to try but didn't get to do. Instead we just ate fast food from across the street. Overall my family enjoyed our stay there. It's about 20-30 minutes from Monument Valley. Everything seems to close at 9 pm in that town though just FYI. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Very Nice room"
This hotel is an oasis in the southwest desert. The room was spotless, the bed - very comfortable, the restaurant..... You need to try their Navajo Taco. Fry bread with a base of Chile, lettuce, cheese - excellent!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean and friendly"

"Welcome Oasis after long drive."
Lovely Hotel. Nice Approach. Pretty Lobby. Beautiful Art. Calming Colors. Inviting Restaurant and Gift Shop. Pleasant Greeting. Slow, uncomfortable Check-In. Front Desk Manager seemed inexperienced and off his game taking an unusually long time to find and confirm our reservations on the computer. Had a very flustered, frustrated air about him. Dining […] was exceptional. Food was far better than expected. Could use a Salad Bar, and Buffet for hungry travelers. Need to spread out diners instead of clumping them closely together with no privacy for intimate conversations. Rooms were immaculate and well-equipped. Stunning views. Missing small fridge and/or microwave. Pool is seasonal. Rates should reflect lower price without pool amenities in off-season. Grounds well-manicured. Plenty of security lighting. Modern conveniences. All and all a very nice retreat. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Close to Monument Valley"
We were there off season so the pool was closed & it appeared they ere gearing up for the season. We enjoyed the close proximity to Monument Valley. Room was noisy as you could here conversations from the adjacent room. Good exercise room. Didn't eat at the hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place to stay"
Convenient if one is visiting Monument Valley Park.Genuine Expedia guest review
the place was clean, comfortable and well-kept. the room had a king-size bed, firm mattress, a sofa, a desk, etc. Roomy. the only drawback was the selection of channels on the TV; none of the cable news channels but that's no big deal. the night-life in the area, on the Navajo Reservation, is non-existent, for those interested in such. We'd return […] to this place and recommend it. the staff was very professional and helpful. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"One of the only two hotels in town"
When you are in Kayenta, you don't have much choices. There are only two hotels in town, with the highest prices compare to the other 4 nights I stayed in the same trip. The reception doesn't look friendly, but ok.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice people and NICE place."
It is a nice clean convenient place to stay. Close to Monument Valley and A pleasant drive to Canyon De Chelly National Monument. The restaurant that is with it is excellent (if you don't have the Navaho Fry bread, you will have cheated yourself) The Staff is helpful, cheerful and friendly… It is a tad on the spendy side but considering the other places […] in the area it is a good deal.
