We've stayed here several times with our two young children. For the price, we have always been very satisfied. Each time, we have noted it is very clean--our room smelled like fresh linens/laundry. It has a small indoor pool which is hard to find in TX (most have outdoor pools) and in cold March, our kids were thrilled to get to swim. The breakfast was typical of most hotels. egg/cheese omelets, sausage, waffles in the shape of TX!, fruit, cereals, breads. Only negative were the muffins/danishes...they were dried out and nasty!!! But there were plenty of other options for breakfast. The beds were comfortable with plenty of soft pillows. We love the location--close to Vista Ridge Mall, many nice restaurants, and right off I-35, so you can zip wherever. The staff was very accommodating--even when I asked for extra blankets and towels. I would recommend this hotel for any family on a budget!

Hotel staff was super nice and very accomodating. We were traveling w basketball team - they even got breakfast ready a little earlier than normal so players could eat before heading to a early morning game

This hotel is even better than the photos made it look. The rooms were clean, well maintained and quite comfortable. We had the two queen suite with a small sitting area that made it very cozy. The hotel was in good condition and the staff was friendly. The indoor pool was clean and warm in the winter as was the room it was in. The only drawback is the morning breakfast we were there on a Saturday and it seems like it was very busy. The dining area was very hot and stuffy and by the time we arrived they were out of most everything with large numbers of people waiting for their breakfast. It was so chaotic we elected to eat elsewhere. Otherwise this is a great hotel

Had a very short stay, only 1 night, got there late around 8 pm. Got up to the room & the toilet started running immediately and ran every 5 minutes. Took a shower the next morning, found black hairs everywhere in the tub, on the clean towels & where the soap was. I will say breakfast was good & staff was nice.

I booked a room specifically requesting two queen beds. When we arrived we were given a room with one bed and an unmade pull out couch. The four of us spent a very uncomfortable night.

If you're tired and every other hotel on this block is booked, then you can find a bed to sleep here. Did not make it to breakfast. Small parking lot , entrance looks like a side exit, small lobby, small indoor pool, & dated. Paid close to $90 after taxes. I would say this hotel is worth about 1/2 of that.

The front office staff was quite helpful. The room was clean and their were nice linens and toiletry items. I was quite disappointed in the included breakfast. The staff manning the area did not seem to care that an hour into the serving time, they ran out of plates and that the juice machine was empty. We checked out prior to the end of the breakfast time and noticed the doors were closed. The facility should factor the amount of food and supplies needed based on the occupancy. There are too many hotels in the general vicinity to compete with, to not have 100% quality through every aspect of the facility/staff.

The location was excellent - shopping mall and restaurants within walking distance. Complimentary breakfast was above average serving limited hot food (eggs, bacon, sausage, and make your own waffles) and lots of cold options. Unfortunately, the pool was out of service and the advertised exercise room was located in an affiliate hotel across from them requiring us to walk across in the cold weather to use both the pool and exercise equipment - not very convenient. When we checked in and out there was no one at the front desk & it was generally vacant each time we passed it. We had to yell back through the door to find someone for assistance. Since check out was at 12:00 and we had a long day of travel ahead of us, we wanted to sleep in on our last day there and put the Do Not Disturb sign on the door. Much to our surprise housekeeping came knocking on the door at 9:30 to see if we had checked out yet! Not absolutely horrible - but definitely room for improvement both in service and advertising amenities.

Told by staff I was to take my garbage to dumpster because they did not have enough staff. Had to chase down toilet tissue. Internet did not work. Beds were lumpy. Room floor was filthy. Handicap room but to get wheel chair in bathroom you had to open entry door, go in the hall and then enter bathroom. Bathroom door when open blocked entrance to bathroom as it would only open into the hall to 120 degrees. Staff was good on the hello's but indifferent to problems and were the reason for most of the above problems. Whatever is left I guess was OK. Don Pansegrau

The toilet valve at the wall was leaking but I stopped by fully turning on the valve. No biggie, probably hit by a mop. Pool and hot tub were very clean, the breakfast was standard but well stocked. Staff was very friendly.

After arriving late in the evening, I turned on the heat in the room because it was a bit chilly. Soon the fire alarm in the room was blaring, I then smelled smoke in the room , realized it was the heating/AC unit. I turned it off, went to the front desk, told the receptionist what was going on, and was told to "just open the window and fan the smoke out with " my hands. When I reiterated the experience, she stated that it "sometimes happens " because the machines haven't been used in the summer time. I asked for a refund or new room and was also told that she can't promise that the smoke won't happen again. Wow

We enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly. The pool and hot tub were very clean with water at good temperatures. The breakfast was amazing with our choice of hot or cold meal. It's convenient to everything, including several places to eat & shop (across the street from the mall) and close to hwy(s).

The room and hotel were very clean and commendable. However, you should train your staff to be more customer friendly. The clerk who checked us in was just barely civil. Makes you feel that she didn't care if you came in or left right then.

EXTREMELY nice hotel for the price. The staff was terrific and knowledgeable of area. Hotel location is easily accessable without being on freeway feeder street. Plenty of excellent eateries nearby (within walking distance). Highly recommend this inn.

We were very happy with our stay at Comfort Suites. We even extended our reservation by a day. The King Suite was beautiful and the bed was so comfortable that it was difficult to get up every morning .We will stay there again.

Since this hotel is located around all other 2-3 star hotels I though i was going to get the same when it comes to the aesthetics of the hotel and comfort. When I got to the hotel the first thing i thought was "wow! their website pics are deceiving". I basically stayed in a 1 star hotel. Next time I'm definitely staying by the Galleria.

The only thing I marked off for was that we had to wait for the front desk clerk to come back. She did have a sign up but she was out at the back door talking to someone. But other than that it was very comfortable! Beds were great with the pillowtop mattress pads, the shower was wonderful and everything seamed clean. The bathroom needed some upgrading but all was good! Breakfast was good too!

The sheets were clean, beds very comfortable. The appliances all worked. The bathroom needed some attention as well as the carpet throughout the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice hotel, just needs a little cleaning!

The front desk people were very helpful and they had a really good breakfast. Our only complaint is with the access roads getting to the hotel. Made things a little confusing. Other than that we have No complaints and will definitely stay again next time when we are in the area.

We enjoyed staying here. There is plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Lots of shopping too, the mall is right behind you. Easy access to highways. The staff were all very nice and accomodating too. We will definitely stay again.

Very satisfied with the hotel and friendly staff members. I didn't care for breakfast, though. The food would be much better cooked from scratch.
