very difficult to enter and exit due to busy street. layout not very fuctional when heading to amenities. Beds were comfortable and breakfast tasted good. Staff was especially attentive and courteous. Older property. Nevertheless, all was clean, and the operation was very well run. Breakfast area was large and airy. Food slection at breakfast was perfect for the business traveller. I would stay in this Holiday Inn Express when I return to Huntsville for business.

I am a frequent traveler for business and pleasure and I must say I was slightly disappointed with the quality of this Holiday Day Inn. This is a older hotel therefore the carpet and old and dingy, the tile in the bathroom was old old and dirty with a lot of dirt in the corners. O, when I reserved my room using Hotels.com I booked a King Bed Non-Smoking and when I arrived at the front desk the intake person said all they had left was a handicapped room with a queen bed! The only complaint we have for our stay is the uncleaned odor of the bathroom, maybe from dirty racks used to wipe counter tops. Other than that we were quite pleased with our stay.

When we arrived I was disappointed by the apprearance. The photos of the hotel on the web were much nicer that the hotel itself. It is an older hotel than it appears to be on the web. There are two separate buildings of the hotel separated by a parking lot. We were in the building that has the front desk in it. The other building has the pool and the […] breakfast area. My two children and I had to walk, in rain, from the back of our building to the front of the other building each morning for breakfast. Since we went smimming, I had to call to ask for more towels to take a bath. I waited and hour and a half for towels. And eventually went to get them myself. Rediculous! There were 5 of us that stayed at this hotel in May 2012. Three were in a non smoking room and the other two were in a smoking room. We requested our rooms be close together. They put us side by side. The hotel was pretty full but was able to accommodate our request. The staff was really friendly. We had a great price and the hotel was stay was a greater experience than we anticipated because of some of the reviews I had read. I decided that everyone has an opinion, so I would take a chance. Between it's location right by the ice machine and an entry door and the constant on/off of the AC compressor this was a loud room. It did not make for a restful night, but then again, most hotel stays are not.

Picked the Holiday Inn Express over the regular Holiday Inn because in my hometown, the Holiday Inn is more run down than the HI Express. In Huntsville it appears to be opposite. Hotel is like 22 yrs old and used to be a HI that changed to a HIE. The Staff was very friendly and offered to move us to another room due to a Internet issue in our part. […] Everything felt Holiday Inn Express-like, but the building was very run down and in need of dire repair. It was bigger than typical HI Express properties. My only gripe was that we were on a 2nd floor of a secondary building, and there was no elevator. Seems a little cheap based on that. Breakfast was substantial and there was a "happy hour" from 5p-7p but we missed it. We'd stay there again if we return to Huntsville.
