We spend a Wednesday night in LV and were happy to see that hotel rates are spectacular for that night. So we "splurged" and decided to take two rooms in this big name hotel. Friendly they were not,we didn't get the king size bed we had reserved and we were on a smokers floor. The location is nice of course and the price was unbelievable but that was true for all the hotels on that night. I do not recommend this hotel.

Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Dec 1, 2009
My husband and I went to Vegas in November 2009. We had stayed at Bally's before in June 2007 in a "North Tower Deluxe" room; however, for this trip we decided to spend a little less money and stay in a "South Tower Classic" room. The South Tower room felt dirty and looked like it had not been updated at all since the hotel was built. The table had marker scribbles all over it and the furniture and carpet were very worn and dated. Luckily for Bally's, my husband and I had stayed in a North Tower room so we ended up paying extra to upgrade to a North Tower Deluxe room (if we had never seen them before we would have just assumed the entire hotel was bad and moved to a different hotel). The North Tower Deluxe room was very nice and updated and the bathroom is all granite. We ended up having a pleasant experience, but in the future we will probably not stay at Bally's. For the price of the Deluxe we could have stayed in a nicer hotel.

I chose this hotel because of the proximity to the major attractions on the Strip. I also got coupons to other harrahs casino attractions like mac king show, eiffel tower ride, buffets etc. But the amenities in the South Tower room were very minimal and dated compared to the Paris hotel where I stayed earlier this year.

While this hotel is in a great location, the room was not as top-notch as I expected. The phone was not working in our room and it took a second contact and 24 hours before it was fixed. In the bathroom, the showerhead was missing, and the exhaust fan did not work. If I go back to Vegas I would not stay at this hotel again.
