Enjoyed the balconies which every room has. It's hard now days to find a hotel in which the windows open. I like a hotel in which the windows open and in this hotel, all rooms have a large outdoor balcony, even the ones higher up on the higher floors.

Wow what a great stay.. We went for the weekend..and enjoy a SAINTS game.. It was with walking distance.. And the service personnel were great.. Very cheery!!! Very clean... NO COMPLAINTS....

My only concern was going into the bathroom and finding a dead baby cockroach in the tub. I felt the room should have been inspected before we arrived. When I called to complain, I did get an apology but I didn't feel comfortable after that. I wasn't sure if there were more cockroaches from where that came from. The hotel has been nicely updated. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff seemed nice enough during check in. I did request extra towels when we left the room on the first day. (It's so hot and humid you may need extra showers). When we returned, the room had been cleaned, but there were no extra towels and my note had been thrown away. Also, […] we were told that the hotel could assist us with shipping items back home and that they had a shipping center in their business office. On the morning that we were leaving, I stopped into the business office to see what the process was for shipping. The receptionist reacted as though I'd asked her for a inappropriate favor. She seemed very put off. She didn’t seem to know what we were talking about and kept repeating that she had shipping forms. Finally we asked if she had boxes. She reluctantly got up from her seat and went to look. She returned with 2 of the smallest boxes that I'd ever seen. We asked the other clerk about a local post office and she provided directions. We then had to make a long 4 block walk to the post office in the middle of lots of construction and closed roads. I understand that consumers have gotten used to lackluster service. I do not accept bad service for myself. I also work in the Quality Assurance field. The receptionists' attitude was both unprofessional and downright rude. Overall I was please with the room, but would probably skip this hotel and stay somewhere more central next time. Read more

Parking is expensive, but typical for NOLA. The rooms are clean and people are very nice. Luggage loading carts are a bit difficult to maneuver. Bed and pillows were clean but less comfortable than home. Overall a nice place for the price.

The ladies that met us in the lobby were very nice and talkative. They took our pictures for us using the piano and other things in the lobby. They allowed us to decorate our room for the bachlorette party. Overall this hotel was wonderful!!!

Beautiful hotel, nicely located near the heart of New Orleans. Unfortunately, a few things marred our overall experience. The unexpected expensive parking charges, the road construction on Loyola that hampered travel and our immediate view from our room, and the desk charging our card by mistake. Other than that, we would return.

I had a very good experience. Very clean room, nice beds and clean bathroom. Everything in working conditions. Very good A/C (temperature was 90 degrees outside). Very efficient room service.

We chose this hotel as we stayed there two years ago and remembered that it is close enough for all the attractions without being too close for any disturbances during the night. The welcome received on arrival was good and the staff couldnt do enough for us. The rooms have been refurbished since our last trip and these were very nicley furnished. Very handy to the French Quarter and CBD. The changes to the Tram system currently under construction will be great as it will go straight past the hotel. Very friendly staff and excellant facilities.

Loved the poolside room! 812 and 813 are the best rooms at the hotel and everything was very close by. Parking is wonderful for only 25 bucks and very convinient. Worth the price. It felt safe leaving my car there.

Excellent location for events at the Superdome. Only drawback is that the restaurant closes fairly early and there is nowhere else to eat in the area. Also, no convenience or drug stores in the area, either.

It was a lovely place to stay; only two complaints and they are (1) that we had to pay $25 per day for parking, and (2) no free breakfast. There was a small but nice restaurant on the premises that was not outrageously high priced. We would stay there again but try to find a close place to park for a little less!

The staff was extremely rude to my husband, the $10.00 for breakfast was just a valture.....not what we expected at all..we had to pay for parking at the hotel another $50.00. So what we thought was a knock off price cost more if we had stayed in a much nicer hotel. Sorry bout that!

Even there was construction going on out the hotel to the street it was a nice quiet stay here. Our room was right out side the pool and it was nice and very peaceful. I like that the pool was closed at 10:00pm to be considerate of the guests who had pool side rooms, I believe the sliding doors to the pool was sound proof because you wouldn't even know […] anyone was out there unless you looked out. The only negative thing I can say that they have poor internet connection. The food there is awesome just in case you decide to order room service...kudos to the chef. This hotel was one of the best I've ever stayed in. Right in the heart of downtown new orleans. The cleanliness of the hotel was great and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel if you are planning on staying downtown in new orleans.

This hotel has been renovated. Our room was nice but showing its age. We had a balcony but the door was an absolute bear to open. There is road construction on the street out front so it is somewhat hard to drive to unless you know to go in the back way. Very hard to get a taxi to the hotel on Sunday night. We walked to French quarter during the daytime […] with no problem. We parked in the hotel lot only to find there was a public lot out back that was way cheaper.
