extremely friendly staff and very helpful above the call of duty. best location on lake and overall hotel is very clean, beautiful and the pool is awesome. pay for the upgrade and get the view, it is worth it. Location is also wonderful to town and eating attractions.

there was hair on the pillow cases, the bathroom was old and worn out. draft comming from the patio doors, and the beds were the most uncomfortable i have slept on... for the price of the room i was disappointed to say the least.

My daughter and I stayed here for one night to go to the Elton John concert. The man at the desk when we checked up was wonderful.He answered our questions and was very helpful. You could tell he enjoyed his job,he was just a fun person to speak too. Our room was very clean and the beds where very comfortable. We will come back!

The hotel is grossly outdated with low counter tops in the bathroom, AND, I might add, unsafe wiring. There is no GFI circuit in the bathroom. I can tell because when I turned on the hair dryer, and then plugged in my curling iron, it blew a fuse or tripped the breaker, and all lights in that area of the room went out as well. This hotel has a great swimming pool, hot tub and sauna. Also we wished to take the cruise on the Trent canal and is located within 50 yards of the ferry terminal. Very convenient.

The hotel needs improvements. Rooms smell like mildew and cleaning spray of some sort. You can hear right through the walls, people talking, going to the bathroom ect.. Very relaxing. Great room with balcony overlooking the Trent River. Convenient to walking trail along the river. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful from cleaning staff, restaurant staff to front desk. Restaurant food delicious and reasonably priced - great place for all ages.

Service is great and professional although hotel a little tired - rooms could use some upgrades. Food in dining room was very nice thugh a bit on pricey side. Caters more to the business customer. Great family pool though.

We couldn't get over the friendliness of the entire staff. Not one member walked by without a friendly smile and cheery comment. They had clearly been told how to make all guests feel like it was their home away from home.

We took our grandchildren. They were made very welcome in the hotel restaurant. The connecting indoor/outdoor pools were a big hit. The view of the river/marina was very relaxing & inviting - although it came at an upcharge $$. Would definitely return.

Lovely location. Bathroom could use a facelift. Even thou a smoke free room, I could smell stale smoke smell on our floor, this was a turn-off. I booked a bed and breakfast deal, upon my arrival I was given a $20 breakfast voucher. My daughter and I had an omelet, juice and coffee , the bill for breakfast was $38.99, this bothered me as I do not consider […] this a bed and brekfast deal. I have stayed at this hotle many times and it is always a pleasure. The staff is amazing from the chambermaids to the bar tender front desk staff and waitress'. You can't get better. My only complaint was the food in the dining room, breakfast was disappointing but other than that it was a good experience

The hotel was in a great location near all the major areas of town. Most of it was within walking distance. The staff were friendly, kind and accomidating when we were having heater problems. The maintance man came right up fixed it minutes after we called. When it still didn't work the staff imediatly moved us to another room with no hesitation. Far to overpriced for what you get. Couldn't believe how small the bathroom was. You could hardly turn around in it. Could not get hot water for a shower. Stations on TV did not come in clearly. Coffee pot had coffee & sugar but no cream or whitener. Pillows had an odour to them & could not use.

Was in Peterborough for a Golf Tournament over a weekend. Was a great place to stay. Right near some good bars/restaurants for after the round on the links, and a nice comfy bed for a good nights sleep. Lots of activity during the school months though. Staff were helpful and attentive. Would return there if I was ever in Peterborough again.
