The hotel air conditioner requires a room key to operate and ours did not work well. The air conditioner would shut off every hour and we had to remove the key and replace it. Other then that it was nice and a $12.00 cab ride to 6th St.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Better options around"
The hotel is a convention style, but has not been well maintained. The show had the pressure of a slow trickle. Also they have a weird Eco policy, you have to have a key in a slot in the wall to have the lights and A/C work. "Convenient and reasonable for short notice"
It was a nice hotel and reasonably priced. It was convenient for the location we needed. The only negative thing I have to say is that they advertise complimentary items if you forget something. My stay at the hotel was fine. The people were friendly, helpful!, cheerful! The I35 corridor was not. My truck was stolen because of this I35 gang which I did not know about until I lost my truck. This in NO WAY is the hotel's fault! Please understand that. It's just that your hotel is on that interstate and that's where the gang has moved in to operate. […] I arrived about 9ish and by 10:30, my truck was stolen. No, my truck was not stolen from your grounds. I was at a restaurant a short distance from your hotel. I was careful, I parked in a well lite area away from walls, vans, etc. And I was still targeted. I DO NOT blame my stolen truck on Wyndham in any way, shape, form or fashion. It had absolutely nothing to do with you. Except that you're on I35 and so was the restaurant and I didn't want to go too far away. My point is if more people know this, they may change their destination to a place not in a known theft ring area. Check in was rapid and not problems though mainly due to pre-registration through expedia. The clerk attending detailed the use of the card key to access the temp control for the a/c. "Not the worst, but I'd stay elsewhere."
It's an Eco friendly hotel with a key card ran a/c. Normally that's not an issue, but this one kept shutting off throughout the night. Meaning I was up all night resetting the a/c—it got hot fast. It could have been user error, but it shouldn't be that difficult to use if that's the case and I've never had that kind of issue before. Also, I paid for […] the room through Hotel.com with our company credit card, but when I went to check in, they still required a credit card to place a $25 incidental deposit. I tried to use my company card, but they declined because it had our company name and not mine. I'm not saying this is a bad thing, because I understand their reasoning behind needing credit card verification and identification. It's more of if I'd have known this in advance, I'd have better prepared. Instead, the person I was traveling with had to use their card for the deposit. The beds were clean and comfortable, and the room had a mini-fridge. The bathroom had a few stray hairs in the corner, but overall clean. Good shower pressure for an Eco friendly hotel. Vending machines only accepted credit cards. That was a little disappointing for me, because I'm not going to charge a soda to my card. Phone in room was not functional. Went to restaurant at 7:00 PM for dinner and chairs were on tables, so we went back to room to order room service and phone would not function.
