Disney's Beach Club Resort

My family and I had a perfect vacation at DisnetyWorld. We stayed at the Beach Club Resort, which had so many ammentities. The whole Disney Parks area was clean and had friendly and helpful staff. It truely is the happiest place on earth! We cannot wait to return.

Beach Club was fantastic! The room was great, the hotel staff awesome, pool was fantastic, and the location was great! After spending most mornings at a Disney park, we spent most afternoons at the pool, then were able to take the 5 minutes walk to Epcot for the evening. The Boardwalk was also a 5 minute walk from the hotel. I have found that the more I travel the better value I get from staying on a concierge or club floor, especially in a place like this where you are basically spending the day at the theme parks and don't need to spend time waiting for breakfast or snacks. They greeted us by name when we pulled up and escorted us up to the fifth floor. We sat down and […] they offered us drinks and food from their club cafe while we were registered. Their club cafe is almost open 24 - 7. The breakfast there was more than enough to get us through most of the day and we enjoyed having a glass or two of wine or a beer there when we came back after a long day. This was our second trip to Orlando and second stay at the Beach Club. Although you are paying a premium to stay at a Disney property, the location and setting is really hard to beat. Add to that Disney's great transporation system, this is the best way to go if you're sole purpose is to visit the Disney parks and it fits into your budget.

We were used to staying at one of the "monorail" resorts on Disney property. Very surprised just how beautiful the Beach Club was. While it would be nice to be able to jump right into one of the parks, the busses and the ferries ran constantly and were no trouble at all. A different experience, but one I'd highly recommend.

Decided to stay (and pay a lot more) at a Disney Resort for the "Magical Experience". We were not able to make reservations or attend any of the character breakfasts, even at the resort we were staying - they were all full. In fact, no reservations were available at any restaurant for any meal anywhere on the entire Disney Campus. We were able to walk […] up for meals at off times without a problem, but the food at all price levels was very poor. Choices were exceptionally expensive (higher than a ball park), unhealthy and low quality. For this reason alone we would not stay and pay a premium for the resorts again. We also had exceptionally long waits for park shuttles (to and from the resort and parks). Beyond that most everything was overpriced to an embarrassing level - I do not have a problem spending money, but when I do, I want something for it. Unfortunately, my experience at the Disney Beach Club resort fell short of my expectations. The pool was nice, movie night on the beach was fun, being a 3 minute walk from Epcot was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. It's just that you can get so much more for your money by renting a nice house with a pool, renting a car and choosing from all the attractions (including Disney) in the area. Read more

We could not have picked abetter hotel for this trip than Disney's Beach Club resort. Stayed in room 4553 the best, over looking the quiter pool with the boardwalk in the background. Cleaning services were the best. Within walking distance of Epcot, maybe a 5 min. walk at most...

We went to the Disney Beach Club Resort and also to the Not So Scary Halloween at the Magic Kingdom for my daughter's ninth birthday. Upon check-in we were greeted by a nice lady, but her english speaking skills were limited. It took a long time to go through the process due to the language barrier. The next morning we were unable to find any means […] of obtaining breakfast without a 45 minute wait, except for a "continental style" area that was total chaos. The pool area was a real treat, but make sure that all people in your party carry their room keys everywhere. We had a hard time entering the area because my six year old god son didn't have his key. The restaurant in the hotel had a nice buffet with an excellent dessert bar. As always the Disney transportation system is nice to have to gain access to the parks so that you don't have to drive anywhere. I can't say that the staff at this resort was very well trained, but all in all it was a nice visit, just not the service that I would expect from a Disney resort. Read more

This Disney resort is closest to Epcot Center and Hollywood Studios. A boat is available from the resort to take you to those locations, as well as Disney's Boardwalk. We checked into the Disney Beach Club hotel on the Friday of Labor day weekend. When we entered the hotel a "cast member" approached me and asked me if i was checking and and told me i had been upgraded to concierge level. They randomly do this. Concierge level was great. Our stay was excellant. We had chosen this hotel as we wanted something special as we were celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary. Everything was great. Location is especially convenient, 3 min to Epcot back entrance. The staff is what makes this place wonderful...great job keep it up. Love the water slide, but you had to go across an outside sidewalk (where people walk with normal shoes so can have hurt your feet). Over all very good. We are a family of four (two adults and two nearly teen age kids) and a twin room would have been more convenient. We were accommodated in one room with two twin beds. One toilet and shower only meant queing up in the mornings. Otherwise no major problems

It was an excellent location and we really enjoyed the magic. We will return but will stay at a moderate resort and use the free dining plan if we take our children. It is not worth the money if only 2 people are participating in the dining plan. The Yacht Club is a more upscale resort with more on site restaurants and better rooms. The Epcot dining was also great but in order to do this you will need to purchase a hopper pass if you intend on visiting other parks on the same day. The WDW lines ap from Touring plans.com was well worth it. It showed us all wait times for rides and another ap showed us menus for all restaurants. This is done on your Iphone or smart phone. Disney is great with technology. We love Disney and will return again but we feel that the extra money for a deluxe resort is not worth it. We like the moderate because of the quiet pools and the more accessible quick services meals. Está muy bien ubicado, el transporte desde que llegas al aeropuerto funciona bastante bien y a los parques cada 3 a 5 min., una linda piscina y sala de juegos para niños, tiene de todo aunque caro!!!! Pero es un muy lindo lugar, lo recomiendo.
