I had a one night visit. Good area right next to mall and close to old town Sac. Movie theater within 2 minutes walking. Will stay again.

The hotel was very nice and in a great location. The rooms were large, the beds very comfortable and it was very convenient for both business and pleasure. The SHOCK we had was paying for parking! NO WHERE in any of the hotel descriptions did it say that there was a charge for parking - a fee that rivals that of San Francisco. There seems to be little to no security in the hotel. Unfriendly characters walking aimlessly around the hotel. The location is surrounded in a poor area. This would be fine however they allow vagrants from the outside walk in to the hotel without any id check. I never saw ANY security. Do not take family to this hotel.

We had 3 workers that just needed a place to sleep that was close to the job site. I booked with hotels.com and asked for 2 doubles and a roll-away. This was even on the booking confirmation sheet that I received and printed off to send with my guys. They arrived late (because of air delays) after midnight, which I had also specified with hotels.com. […] When they arrived, they were told that that Holiday Inn did NOT use roll-a-ways (their rooms are too small)., One of our workers slept on the floor. We have stayed here many times and love it. Not only is the location incredible as you can walk into Old Town Sac and back but the people there are really incredibly nice. Has a lounge for a cocktail upon arriving, very clean comfortable rooms. Recommend this hotel VERY MUCH !

One of the best Holiday Inns I have seen in a long time. A-1 service, spotless and efficient and even w some character. Only minus is that while beds are OK, they are not tops. Location is superb. Solid hotel at a reasonable price. The front desk staff was a little too slow and the drain in the shower ungodly slow, but overall not a terrible distraction from the overall experience. The accommodations were roomy. The bed and pillows (Several to choose from) were very comfortable. There was no excess noise and the curtains did well at keeping out light. Hotel has recently gone through a remodel. Rooms were very nice, quiet & comfortable. The only problem I had was our Waiter for Breakfast, poor service, had to ask 2 times on several occassions & the Restaurant wasn't busy.

My room was a bit on the small side and you can't open the windows but it was clean and located near restaurants, amenities etc. The area is a little more rundown than the last time I stayed here but all in all I'd not hesitate to stay here again. Very centrally located for my business purposes.

The hotel was clean and the bed was super comfy, except the pillows were tiny (they seemed even smaller on the king sized bed). We went to the restaurant in the hotel, which had very good food. Parking was easily accessable, and close to Old Sacramento and close to the mall.

Everything was great, nice place...but, they made a mistake at the front desk and gave the person checking in after us the same room number AND the the same key card! Could have been really bad if we hadn't still been in the room when that person used his key to get into OUR room!

Thought it was a little expensive for the size and quality of the rooms. The staff were amazing; friendly, helpful and kind but the location alongside the freeway was a little noisy. By the time we had paid for the room ($116-parking$16-tips for the valet and bellhop$5) it was a lot of money.

We usually stay at the Embasy Suites but decided to stay at the Holiday Inn because it was almost $100 cheaper?? The quality was equally as good and the service was even better. We received 2 breakfast (which made the cost even less) and even though we got the breakfast bar the service was above our expectations!!

Convenient to Downtown Plaza for shopping, Starbucks, Old Sacramento, and a quick bite. Easy off the freeway. The staff is friendly, but not the most lively of places. I didn't like how the curtains don't close for the morning sun.

It is well located for getting around downtown, and I felt safe staying there as a single woman. Nice!! The hotel was clean, staff friendly and accommodating. Old Sac and superior shopping within walking distance, taxis available and waiting, great views, easy to find, surprisingly quiet!!!
