Radisson Resort Orlando - Celebration - Kissimmee 28.3339, -81.53441

Booked it on line last min, great value, lots of families. I stayed mid week and it was nice and quite the weekend was a little crazy with kids but the smaller second pool always seemed a little quiter. The onsight food was good pizza and bits enough to get you through a day by the pool. shuttle to parks not great. but there is a publie bus for $1.75 which takes you to the magic kingdom. They run about every 15 mins. They will always go for the taxi options. Staff helpful. Run did smell a little musty but I think it use to be smoking and with no windows to open its never really had a good airing out. (not there are no smoking room even if the website tells you, you have booked one I did it by mistake in booking and did not have to correct it on book in)

remote control and tv broken, lamp broken, close to busy motorway, no hot water for a whole day, daily service charge too expensive for something you hardly use.

I checked in and the hotel is somewhat dated as other guests have related. My air/heat unit had a leak and the carpet was wet underneath. The outdoor pool and facilities are fantastic and beautiful. My primary reason for writing this review is to alert fellow travelers that the information desk where you pick up the shuttle schedule and maps is manned by employees of Orange Lake Properties and these people are not employees of the Radisson. When I picked up the shuttle schedule and a map, I was advised that the Radisson was offering their return guests a special package and perceived all the information to be provided by and associated with the Radisson since this is their concierge/information desk located in the lobby and the shuttle service, etc. are advertised as a service of the Radisson on the website. What I actually purchased was a tour of a timeshare which was never disclosed. The Radisson has an excellent reputation and I am notifying the manager that the personnel at the information desk are representing themselves as employees of the Radisson and offering these return guest packages. Please be aware of this before you purchase!

my room smelled like an old motel and needed to be updated. I was really disapointed with it.

The hotel is beautiful, and has many activities. I Love the resturants that were close by, and how clean they used to leave our room. I would definitely stay again.Only regreat I have is not use the pool like I wanted to.

I had a sleep number bed and got the best night sleep away from home.

They charge about twelve dollars amenity fee per day on top of what you pay when you make a reservation. This was unexpected and a bit disappointing. Imagine buying a ticket to fly somewhere and then being unexpectedly charged extra at the check-in counter - you do not have much choice but to pay at that time. Also, they have a small fridge but no microwave in the room.

I was surprized by the extra 11.50 a day for services that didnt work 2 of the 3 days stayed.

Would have been an overall pleasant experience had it not been for the duck feeding station right at the entrance to our building. There was duck feces all over the sidewalk leading up to the building. Very inconvenient for little ones and rolling luggage. It was a decent hotel if only they had thought to put the duck feeding area far away from the entrance. Other than that, it was clean and nice.

We stayed at this hotel over a long weekend and found it to be clean and comfortable. The lobby was nice with good snack bar that kept late hours. The pool area was nice and inviting. Transportation to Disney made it convenient. The only two negatives were a) the hallway smelled terrible (not the rooms) just the hallway b) the restaurant has a nice breakfast buffet but had some kind of weird rule that kids couldn't have made to order eggs. I thought that was pretty petty of them and not up to Radisson standards.

Comfortable room, cool, which is very important to me. Also had a number system bed in it.

Good room for the money, however, the aircon on the room was noisy.

This is a great hotel if you are planning on spending time by the pool or in the surrounding areas. The inside of the hotel needs some updating, but the pool is absolutely amazing!!!!! They have great activities by the pool and it is a really great place to relax. However, just be aware that the inside isn't "amazing" but will definitely work. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

We have to say the hotel was very nice when we walked inside. The room we stayed in could have been a little neater. We did stay in a smoking room even though we aren't smokers because it was cheaper. It just seemed to hard to get the smell out even leaving the windows open. Other than the smoke smell, the bed and the pools were very comfortable. They also do get you for a resort fee for around $11.25 a night. We slept on a king size sleep number bed which you just sink right into. The heated pool and jacuzzi was very comfortable to relax in. The staff seemed friendly, but the prices for the food there were insane. 6.99 for a personal small pan pizza from their indoor pizza hut. Anyone can just go down the road to a pizza hut and get a large for the about the same price.

Upon arrival we had to pay "mandatory" fee of approx twelve dollars per room. This was for local calls and internet. I informed them we didn't need either but we had to pay anyway. Very disappointing. We had stayed there before but we won't again. If we had arrived earlier in the day, perhaps we would have stayed elsewhere.

This hotel was OK; however, the rooms smelled musty. I don't think resort fees should apply during the off season. Tiki bar was closed. The restaurant was empty every time we went by. My hair dryer was not working properly and wasn't fixed after I brought it to their attention. The air conditioning was inadequate and seemed to be even less effective at night. The faucets and sinks in the bathrooms are really old. My bathtub dripped. My sink was cracked. I asked "Guest Services" about the restaurant hours and he told me I could ask the front desk. The best experience I had was room service.

Booking in order to get a room with a king size bed we had to pay a higher price for a pool view. The receipt from Hotels.com had king bed room with pool view. When we checked into the hotel the staff informed us that our room had two full size beds and not a king.I informed them that the reservation clearly states a king size bed with view of the pool.They finaly gave us a kings size room.This room did have a pool view but the room was on the end of the building so you bearly could see the pool also there was a palm tree that needed to be trimmed in the center of the window blocking what little view there was. The first night we had to call the front desk because the air conditioner did not work they did replace the unit that night, which took about two hours to resolve. The bed was a sleep number bed that did not work and it was very uncomfortable and the bathroom was small. The first night there were people outside talking until about 4:00am. Next trip I plan to try a different hotel.

An older hotel, nice lobby, grounds,pool area. Halls kind of funky, rooms are typical of hotel in this class. Resort tax is exorbitant because this certainly is no resort. If you don't have to pay rack rate, it's worth a try.

I stayed at the Radisson Resort in October. When i arrived at the hotel, it had exceeded my expectations greatly. I wasn't expecting it to be as nice especially since i paid so only a small amount to stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to stay at.

I stayed here for a 2-day class. Room 1 had a damp mildew smell and wet carpet with a sunken bed. I was given doubles when I reserved a King a month prior. The next night when a room was available and I threaten to check out the second room was much better except no running shower water. When Miguel the maintenance man fixed it it was no water pressure but at least I had water. Stay at the Hampton like my classmates did, the Ramada is even worse!! Not worth the price for a two star hotel.

This is a good hotel. We loved the dive-in movies at the pool and the bed was super comfortable. The Pizza Hut in the lobby was also a nice touch. Frankly, the only problem was their insistence on trying to sell you a time share at a nearby property, though we got discount tickets to the parks through them.

Our room was clean. Parking was close by. The room safe did not function & we understand that style is being replaced. The front desk does have safety boxes, free of charge for guest use.

Except for the fire alarm going off at 1:00am, the hotel was fine.

Although the location is good and lobby attractive, the hallways and carpets could use a good cleaning. Whatever the staff uses to clean the rooms has a strong odor. The first non-smoking room I was given had the unpleasant odor of the mixture of cigarette smoke and a chemical cleanser. The smoking rooms should be confined to one part of the hotel - not set amongst supposedly non-smoking rooms.

We come to this hotel often! It is a great family resort. The price is very reasonable for all that you get! If you have children, it is very child friendly.

We have been visiting and staying at this hotel now for over 8 years. They do a great job maintaining the grounds and as always the amenities are a a hit with the kids. The breakfast buffet is also very good. We will be back again soon!

I was charged an additional "service fee" of $11+ per night, didn't like that. We had to walk a lot with all the baggage and baby stuff to get from the parking to the hotel room. It was already dark and we were all tired. The building's door didn't open the first time, so we had to go back to a nearby service phone line and called the front desk, not very appealing when you're traveling with a baby. In overall, it was OK but little things sometimes makes a huge difference.

The outer door would not open with my key, the elevator was filthy, the sink leaked in the bathroom.

Dont have a bad word to say, would go back and stay here. Was surprised it got some bad reviews.

Staff at hotel were very friendly, hotel is clean but could do with decor updating slightly. The pool is good if you need one. The only draw back is they charge you an extra $11 per day for parking so they say. Very central location on the 192 for both Disney and all other attractions, not far from old town kissimme

No problems with checking in early. I just wished the room coffee had been better. The Deli was astounding in service, selection, and taste.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. I took full advantage of the pools. There is a lagoon pool with a waterslide and waterfall. There is a huge hot tub and there is heated pool with water jets to massage your back. I really had a lot of fun. The beds are wonderful and the room was really clean, I usually don't like to walk on the carpet barefoot but this carpet seemed very clean. The bathrooms are a little cramped but still nice. I would not recommend the buffet breakfast. It costs almost $18 with tax and it is awful, plus the waiter was rude. The bar is also very expensive. My friend got chicken wings with fries and a pina coloda and the cost was $24! So I recommend staying here but don't eat here unless you get something from the pizza hut on site. The hotel consists of several buildings and it can get confusing to find your way to the parking lot. We asked one of the housekeepers for directions and she was very rude but gave us the right directions. There is also an $11 per day resort fee. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and will be going back for my birthday. More waterslide rides,yay!

While this was an older hotel, the rooms were spotless, the beds extremely comfortable, bathroom spotless as well, with plenty of towels. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful - all of them. Newer doesn't necessarily mean "better". Next time I'm in the Orlando area, I intend to stay at this same hotel.

The pool and gameroom are perfectly placed in the center of the resort! This was a great spot for kids to do their own thing while you could relax! Events are posted everyday to keep them busy and food is only a few steps away. Hotel is charming and perfect for families. Loved the tennis courts and if you forgot your equipt. just call front desk and they'll provide your raquets (included in your resort fee). I give 4.5 stars to Radisson for great location and friendly staff. Teenagers love the free internet too.

badly in need of refurbishing; geese and duck dropping covering the walkway; moldy smell throughout the buildings; public toilets in dire need of cleaning; coffee but no coffee maker in room

The hotel room had multiple stains on the carpet and there was even a gum stuck on the carpet. The carpet tack along the edge stuck out and complained to hotel, but the problem was never fixed. There was clumps of hair left in the sink and in the bath tub. I WOULD NEVER STAY AT THE HOTEL AGAIN EVEN IF SOMEONE PAID ME!! I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED. THE ENTIRE HOTEL IS OUT DATED AND NEEDS A LOT OF WORK TO BRING IT UP.

I am not a picky person but the hotel was over all ok..... the staff charged me the resort fee twice for no reason the customer service was horrible ...... i would not reccoment this hotel over all the pool was nice and thats about it to be honest the room was not worth the price and the whole resort fee is a a scam the drinks are super expensive and with this resort you dont get your moneys worth you can find something else better for the price!

I've stayed several times at this hotel and for the price it is quite good. I travel multiple times to Orlando and have stayed at the sheraton, Hilton, Wyndham, etc. and this hotel has a nice location and amenities and the rooms are usually very comfortable. Only down aspect is that they don't have large rooms, 1 bedroom suites, etc., so for large families, don't consider it as rooms are quite small.

Pool area was cool, only thing that is the additional money they charge you for towels, frige, HBO, computer area and by the way they don"t tell till you check out

The drapes loaded with dust, bathroom had use soap sitting at the edge of the tub, and the toilet flusher did not work, we had lift the tank and reset it so it does not continue to dump gallons of water.

Nothing fancy, but location is good and overall not a bad hotel. Many good close restaurants and easy to get in and out of. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you want something clean and cheap. If you are wanting to stay some place fancy, pick another place.
