Embassy Suites Hotel - Minneapolis Airport - Bloomington

We love Embassy Suites, but they need to start vacuuming under the beds and the rooms are pretty loud if there is anyone above you or talking in the hallways.

The hotel is very tired... no upgrades in the 15 or so years that we've been staying there. It's noisy ... from the outside and the inside. However, very convenient for the airport.

It was great. The accommodations were really nice and the hotel staff was very friendly. It was a treat that the hotel was located so closely to the Mall of America. I would definitely stay here again. Please stock some herbal tea options in the breakfast areas.

Overall good, with the one exception, Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning there were an enormous amount of children, making getting around and breakfast very uncomfortable for us. Sunday afternoon and Monday morning were both very nice and peaceful, no crowds.

Very happy with our stay. We requested a room on one of the higher floors and we got the top floor! Our kids were so amazed! The atrium area had a snack reception nightly that wad very family friendly. Room service had specials that were cheaper then if we ran out to eat. Our family stayed here for 2 nights on a weekend and we were very impressed with the whole experience! The staff were friendly and attentive. The breakfast was huge and being able to have a made to order omlet was a plus! The room was comfortable and clean. We liked that it was a suite so the kids could have their own TV and area. The manager's reception […] was very nice. We loved that there were snacks and drinks for the whole family and it was all free! The hotel is beautiful with it's glass ceiling and real trees and plants in the atrium. The glass elevators were fun for the kids to see out over the hotel. Even though we stayed on a different floor, we had to travel to the 10th floor a couple times so they could see everything from the very top! The location is convenient to the mall and easy access to other main areas of town. The airport is right next to the hotel but you can't really hear the planes at all. It was fun to watch them come and go! We were surprised at how small the pool was for such a large hotel and it was kindof cold but it was different that it was a salt water pool. We requested non allergenic pillows to replace duck feather pillows. When new pillows were brought to the room they were duck feather. We tried again and got duck feather again. The first room was facing the highway and airport and was unbearably noisy. The staff were accommodating and provided a less noisy room. It had a blue pill on the floor when I moved in and it was still there 3 days later, when I left. On the weekend this hotel is very crowded and evidently unable to provide enough hot water to all rooms.

The hotel is located right across the street from the light rail, which takes you to the metrodome or the Mall of America (other stops too) it is VERY easy to use, and costs $1.75 for a 2 hour span. If you want a full day pass it is 6.00 per person. The hotel itself was very clean, our room had two double/queen beds in a separate room and then a kitchen […] table, couch, wet bar, and chair in the other. The staff was very nice from the front desk all the way down to the pool attendants!! The pool was clean, at first I did not realize it was a Salt water pool, and I thought is was dirty because it was a little cloudy, but then I saw the sign saying SALTWATER pool and I goggled it and read up on it. It did not dry our skin out like a normal pool would so I really liked it. They had a big sauna, pool, hot tub and steam room. The FREE breakfast was unbelievable! It was a full breakfast…….. Made to order omelets, sausage, eggs, pancakes, French toast, hash browns, tons of fruit, toast, muffins, 4 kinds of juice, doughnuts, milk, cereal and a bunch more. I would definitely go back to this hotel!! The breakfast alone saved us $30.00 per day for a family of four! Read more

We enjoyed our stay at the Embassy Suites MSP Airport. This was the night before Good Friday so there were a ton of children at the hotel, which proved a little annoying at times (like trying to use the hot tub). The hotel was very nice, but communication from the front desk was lacking. Calls made to the front desk were not documented, requiring follow up calls a few times. Personal wine glasses were taken by housekeeping, but not returned despite several promises that it would be taken care of.

We stayed here while shopping at the Mall Of America. It's close to the mall, the rooms are spacious and our particular bed was fantastic. It almost was hard to get up to shop on the second day! Breakfast was very tasty. All of the staff was very polite and helpful.

I would not stay here again. The extra charges for computer (internet), you could not enjoy the pool, the chemical was so strong that the kids skin hurt. We could not have breakfast, the line was way too long and no where to sit.. The tv channels were disappointing, the security deposit

Pool was a little cold. Line for breakfast took 20 minutes to get to the food and we come down early. The omlettes were good but made with little care, and cheap on fixings. Hard to find a parking spot.

Great location, comfortable rooms, can't beat the breakfast. My only complaints are that the shower/tub looked like it needed some cleaning and updating, the service at the bar was very slow and the pool water was cloudy and very cold. Hot tub didn't look much better.

Excellent Value. Large suite rooms are standard. Managers reception includes free drinks and appetizers as well as a large made to order omelette breakfast buffet. Wouldnt stay anywhere else if an Embassy Suites is nearby.

The rooms need to updated. Snacks at happy hour, and breakfast were not good. Poorly prepared and needed to be replenished. Our room was uncomfortably warm too. Turned heat off, but would not cool down.

Stayed on a Saturday night to take early Sunday flight. Great location, but hotel was crazy busy! Couldn't find a parking spot due to many evening events happening. Loud since entering the front door. Noise from downstairs carried to 9th floor room until 11PM, plus kids running by heard inside room. Elevators were slow due to crowds. It was horrible we were there for a relaxing weekend, there was a wedding event also at the hotel. We had a corner room that has a vent above the door that let every sound from the wedding party we could not get any relaxation.
