Location.
The Georgian Court Hotel, a European-style property, is located across from the BC Place and near the Rogers Arena. This hotel stands one block from Queen Elizabeth Theatre and NHL Hockey at Rogers Arena, and is three blocks from Gastown, Chinatown, and Yaletown. Skytrain Station is located less than two blocks from this property.
Hotel Features.
The Frankies Italian Kitchen Restaurant offers Italian cuisine. Beatty Street Bar and Grill showcases 15 big-screen televisions and a roster of beer and burger favorites. The Bistro is open daily. This hotel provides an on-site fitness center with "Life Fitness" cardiovascular and strength equipment. The hotel's spa contains a spa tub and a steam room. Massages and facials may be requested at the spa, or within the privacy of guests' rooms. Garage and valet parking are available (surcharge).

The Georgian Court Hotel features 180 Robert Ledingham-designed guestrooms in a 12-story brick building. Rooms include traditional furnishings, duvets and pillow-top mattresses, crown moldings, wooden baseboards, and windows that open. Subtle harvest hues blend harmoniously with fabric tapestries, fine furnishings, and paintings by British Columbia artists. Accommodations provide three multi-line phones, flat-panel satellite television, and complimentary wired and wireless high-speed Internet access. All rooms offer refrigerators and slippers. Bathrooms are stocked with Aveda bath products.

Me and my husband stayed for one night as a mini-babymoon and we were quite satisfied for our stay. The room is comfy and we really enjoyed the pool as well. We would surely go back again.

It is a nice hotel. I stayed for five nights and enjoyed it. Probably will stay again soon.

The beds are so comfortable, and the bathrooms are well laid out with everything you need. The restaurant is very nice and their service was excellant.

If you are coming to Van city for the hockey, football, or a show at the QE theatre, then this location is ace. And Frankies restaraunt next door isnt bad either.

Overall a great experience. Please be aware that they building another hotel immediately behind the Georgian Court. The drilling into bedrock starting at 8:00 am did not allow for sleeping in. Of course, not fault of the Georgian Court, but this info may help you decide to stay. cheers

A nice hotel, good, friendly service. Ideal if you are attending a function at BC Place, Rogers Ice rink or for access to False Creek. It was fine, however I (who stay in hotels on business regularly) don't get the 'luxury' part. The rooms are just fine, but 'upper end ordinary' would be a better description than 'luxury'.

Disappointed that it cost us $10 per night for parking. With the price of the hotel, this should have been included. Probably would not go there for a long stay because of this.

My husband & I spent two very comfortable nights at this hotel. We found it very convenient to most everything we needed and wanted to go to. Of course very easy to access the new stadium where the football game was being played. We will stay at this hotel again for sure!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Georgian Court for a concert at Rogers Arena. The location was perfect for walking to the venue and all around the downtown core, the staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was in good repair, clean and of great quality. I live in the neighbourhood and have sent people to stay here several times in the past; this time I used it as a very close little get-away spot. It was terrific - easy check-in, terrific stay. I plan on continuing to recommend it to people when they are in the area.

First time staying at this hotel. We came to the city for a hockey game, 5 minute walk to rogers arena. The staff was great, check-in took 3 minutes, the cleaning lady on our floor was friendly and fast. The bed, king size, was fantastic. "Quiet Hotel"
The Georgian Court Hotel which is located in Vancouver downtown is one of the quiet hotels in the area i liked staying there and i would return back again if i had to.
"Nice Get Away"
We found the Georgian Court Perfect for our weekend get away. The room was perfect. The location was ideal and the value was totally there. On only problem is I now need a new bed at home because the one we slept in at the Georgian was so comfy.
The room and decor were good, it was very comfortable yet small. We did have trouble with the wireless but it was intermitten. The front staff were not helpful at all. No restaurants at the time and the front desk staff were again not helpful, we used our taxi driver as our guide instead. Conclusion I would not stay there again.

This is a fantastic hotel if you're attending anything at Rogers Arena or BC Place Stadium. Many other venues close by as well. Built for EXPO 86 this hotel is located across the street from BC Place Stadium and 1.5 Blocks from Rogers Arena. The room was well appointed, clean and quiet. The rest of the building including hallways, elevators and parking were also well maintained. The underground parking was gated and the elevators required key card access for movement above the […] lobby. The hotel lacked an onsite restaurant although renovations were in process to rectify.
