I really enjoyed my stay here at this hotel. PROS: 1. The staff was very courteous 2. The shuttle saved me taxi money whenever I needed to go somewhere (just make sure to call ahead and reserve it) 3. Even a day after checking out of the hotel, the staff still let me keep my luggage there for the day while I continued to enjoy Vancouver 4. The rooms […] were a nice size 4. The slippers and robe can't be beat 5. Free water in a bottle (unlike most places that charge) 6. Refrigerators in the room CONS: 1. Refrigerator wasn't cleaned well 2. No real nice views from the room 3. Hotel is out of the way of the downtown area (though it's still only a few blocks which isn't horrible and can easily be walked) Other than those 3 cons, I enjoyed my stay here and will definitely stay at the Georgian again! room is clean but i don't think you get the value for your money. Small rooms, constructions around the hotel, internet service unavailable - lot of disconnections and bad service, location not the best after staying there would recommend another location if you stay in downtown.

What a fabulous hotel! The front desk and bell staff are some of the friendliest we have experienced, and our stay at two separate times was wonderful. I loved the comforts and cleanness of the rooms and the amenities provided for female guests like make-up remover, curling iron, flat iron, etc...The beds are super comfortable with fine linens. Perhaps […] the BEST part for us was our unexpected upgrade to the Penthouse Suite for the inconvenience the prior week for not having the room we booked available (they had over-sold rooms). This suite was lavish and gorgeous on the top floor with great views! What a treat! Additionally, the restaurant adjacent to the hotel is terrific - from breakfast to dinner to cocktails. Wasnt sure if this hotel was going to be too far from the main shopping area but it turned out to be great. Hotel had bikes and the convenience to the waterfront biking areas was great Lots of good food around there as well. Affordable with nice rooms and friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.

This was a wonderfully convenient hotel with easy pedestrian access to just about anywhere in Vancouver's city centre. The staff were exceptional and the room was comfortable and current in its decor. The ONLY complaint was the very spotty WIFI. We took the Amtrak Cascades train from Seattle to Vancouver and The Georgian Court Hotel is a mere $5 cab ride away from the train station. It is located across the street from the sports arenas, which was not necessary for us but it was within walking distance to all the other neighborhoods that we wanted to explore (Yaletown, Gastown, etc). My only […] complaint is that when we realized our room keys were not working on Day 2 (they clearly were not programmed correctly), the woman at the front desk was unapologetic and acted like it was our fault that the keys did not work. Very disappointed with this hotel. Arrived at 3-3:30 and had to wait to check in. Got to the room and it was assigned to another party. Waited another 30 mintues to get new room assignment. Room was old and dark. Needs major updates. Very dissappointed. Paid much less at other hotels and got much, much more. Don't bother with it.

Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent location - walking distance to Yaletown, Gastown for dinner options, and across the street from Rogers stadium. The room was comfortable and clean although starting to show some signs of age. However, still good value for the money and enjoyed my stay so I would recommend and stay again.

The hotel was fine. Unfortunately our stay was ruined due to an incident on the first evening in the hotel. We were having a nightcap in the lounge when we were disturbed by a stream of extremely bad language uttered by a man on the next table. The lounge had a number older couples like ourselves and the middleaged man involved was accompanied by a […] woman who may have been his wife and who was consistently swore at and told to "shut up" and "shut your mouth". The young, mainly female staff, tried to ignore the abusive language and comments and appeared not to know what to do. Finally after trying to indicate our discomfort to him for 10 or more minutes, my wife walked out and I leaned over and spoke to him. The result was another stream of abuse, invective and personal insults and an invitation to take the incident further. I turned to a staff to ask for a bill for our unfinished drinks to be asked if I wanted to speak to the bar manager; I did. The result was a very spoiled evening and a disturbed nights sleep. When checking out we were offered a rebate on parking fees. Read more

It is a very nice hotel near public transportation, restaurants and entertainment. I stayed with my two children and we felt safe! Most important in my book. Place was really well decorated, could have used a little more dusting, but they fixed that right away. Beds were comfortable, there was a safe, refrigerator, desk and table, plenty of room. We […] stayed on the 8th floor and looked into another building but that was fine, we only slept there. Never took a cab, was able to get quickly to public trans. The rooms were decent - clean and well maintained. Parking for check-in was a little difficult with taxis loitering out front, but otherwise there was no problem. Breakfast buffet was a disaster. Toaster broken, food cold, not enough staff to handle the crowd. Construction began early and will be very noisy for months to come. Elevator doors close way too quickly and I got trapped without my room key and couldn't run the elevator. Probably wouldn't stay here again.

The staff was friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself left something to be desired. The elevators are very slow, and require a room key to activate. There is no option to use the stairs, either. The room was clean, but quite dated. The mini refrigerator was woefully underpowered and took an entire day to cool down.

This is a wonderful hotel, luxury in an understated European style of elegance. From the lovely mini-suite room to the delicious food to the exceptional service, we felt pampered for our entire stay. Nice additional benefits are the secure underground garage and that the hotel floors are protected by a card-key triggered elevator. The Georgian Court […] is right next to the sports stadium and a short block from the arena, so for access to those venues it's unbeatable. Finally, the restaurant / room service is delicious Italian with a generous wine list. I think this is our fifth or sixth trip to Vancouver, and we will use the Georgian again next visit.
