Very nice hotel with a great view from the room. Only two problems. Room smelled like a sewer..they came and sprayed when I asked but within hours the smell had returned. Also...concierge recommended Reynold for good seafood...Reynold was extremely overpriced and the food was very bad. Take it off your recommendation list Embassy Suits.

This is the second time my family has stayed at this hotel. It is very convenient to everything Myrtle Beach has to offer yet it is tucked away on a quite beach. Great place especially for the price!

Definitely would be worth the rate during the summer when the amenities would be available. We had excellent weather, the beach was great but the hotel's features were limited - outside bar was closed, no activities on Sunday or Monday and water park was already closed. Always a pleasant stay. The hotel is maintained well and very clean. The time of year that we are there, there always seems to be a bottleneck at the elevators. The hotel really needs 4 elevators vs 3!

I was extremely disappointed with my stay. For two nights it cost me a riduculous amount of money, not including parking (surprise charge) and some bogus other charge that the staff informs me is a standard charge per night that will be credited to my account even though I prepaid. I still have not received this money back. To top it all off, the AC […] was nonfunctional the entire time. Try sleeping in the SC heat with no AC. The hotel and the grounds are beautiful. The new renovations were coming along great and should be completed soon. This hotel is perfect for familes (I have an 11 yr old son and a 9 yr old daughter). Amazing location and beautiful view of the beach from the room. The hotel is located on an enclosed resort area, so it's secure and protected. You can park inside the resort, but they charge you for it by the day - there's no valet and cars are parked outside. Breakfast was included in the rate, which was amazing.

My wife and i spent the night at"The Embassy Suites,Myrtle Beach S.C." a 4 star hotel, for our anniversary. Found out that unlike most other hotels, we are charged for internet use in the room,i think about $10 per night. We were also charged about $13 for using their parking lot. Although the hotel was comfortable and had tons of amenities, I would not stay here again. First the "free parking" costs more than $8.00 a day. But the worst part was the elevator situation. There are only three elevators for 20 floors. It takes at least 15 minutes to get an elevator to get down to breakfast. This hotel is in the Kingston Plantation, which is a fabulous place to stay in Myrtle Beach. You never even have to leave the Plantation if you don't want to. The Embassy has a great manager's reception with free drinks and snacks, which is very nice. Breakfast is good and restaurant is ok for lunch/dinner. Omaha steak is pricey but entrees are pretty […] good (minus under cooked green beans). Hotel was renovated a few years back, but is starting to show some wear and tear. There was some mold in the bathroom shower and ceiling. Beds are very comfortable and it is tempting to lay under the down comforters (fully wrapped in a sheet so you don’t have to worry about cleanliness) all day long. Hotel was fine. Decor a little tired in places. Staff were always friendly and courteous. It's great to have access to the indoor pool complex for children.
