Initially the room had a damp musky smell. The air and heater worked well. Excellent pool facilities. There was no refrigerator or microwave in the room but by the second night one was delivered to the room.

Very disappointed when we found out we could not get a shuttle for our flight early am. We had to pay for a taxi. The main reason we stayed there was for the shuttle. Also, the bed was bad. You rolled to the middle. Really hard to sleep. Outdated hotel.

We stayed the night before our flight out of Orlando and felt the hotel was comfy. We ate at the Fish on Fire restaurant. nearby and had a great meal and listened to some good music as well. Shuttle service to airport a definite plus. as com;imentry breakfast always a plus

My previous review was tossed out and I'm not sure why. The room smelled of mildew, smoke and urine. A/C unit didn't seem anchored in the wall. It was very difficult to find parking. Plus side: the pool was nice, wifi worked quickly and the bed was comfortable.

The room smelled musty and it made getting a good nights sleep very dificult as I would smell it every time I woke up and had a hard time getting back to sleep. The clothes in my suitcase even smelled after I left.

I always think it is "hit or miss" with La Quintas. Sometimes they are nice, sometimes not so. This is a case of the latter. I was very disappointed at my stay in this hotel. If I had not arrived so late I would have changed hotels but I had a late flight and did not arrive until after 1 am. The main reason I booked this hotel was the low rate and free shuttle service from the airport. Once I arrive in Orlando and called, I was informed it ended at 11 pm so my daughter and […] had to take a taxi. No fault of the hotel, but the taxi driver dropped us off at the wrong La Quinta hotel and left so we had to pay for another taxi. I ended up paying $40 for taxi service. If I knew the taxi service was limited I would not have stayed here to begin with. Once I arrived the room had a strong musty smell which made it difficult to sleep, the bathroom was small, in disrepair and dirty. The hotel was run down, dirty and smelly. I was glad we were only there one night and would have gladly paid more for a better hotel. I will not stay here my next visit to Orlando. Read more

Hotel needs to update the outside area and change their light bulbs. There were tiny ants in the bathroom which needs to be exterminated. The seafood restaurant was very noisy at night and if you were trying to get to bed before midnight on the weekend, it was not going to happen. Parking was next to impossible.

We enjoyed our stay, even though it was just for an overnight before we flew home. I think it was the best nights sleep we had overall. Very close to the airport so no need to feel rushed to be there on time.

First room I was placed in reeked of old musty smell. Second room was just okay...no washcloths, plenty of towels. Soda machine didn't work. Bed was pretty worn out and I sank to the middle. Good for one night stay, but do not expect a good stay.

Prompt and friendly pick-up at the airport. The driver was so knowledgable and helpful in arranging affordable and reliable transportation to and from the theater I was going to. I selected this hotel as it had a relatively cheap rate and was listed as close to the airport. The room that I stayed in was very dirty and unmaintained (dirty sheets, dirt and trash on the floor in the bathroom behind the door, hair on the walls in the shower, broken eye window in door, door wasn't installed properly so it let in a lot of light, etc.), […] and made for an uncomfortable stay. LaQuinta markets itself as a business-class motel, but my experience was more like a Motel 6 on steroids. Yes, it was better than a Motel 6, but I'm not sure it was $40 per night better. I'll be fair: Here are the positives: 1) The bed was very comfortable; 2) It was very close to my off-site rental car company; 3) The free Wi-Fi did work. OK, here […] are the negatives: 1) Even though I asked for non-smoking, all they had left was a smoking room. The attitude of the desk clerk was, "Take it or leave it"; 2) I never felt that the maid cleaned the bathroom adequately; 3) The TV only gets about 12 stations; 4) The waffles for breakfast weren't the ones with those nifty waffle makers -- they were the cheap frozen kind; 5) The motel was booked up the first night I arrived, and even though it wasn't yet 10 p.m., there were no parking spots left -- I was instructed to "park anywhere you can find a space as long as you don't block anyone"; 6) When I checked out, I inadvertently left a jacket in my room. I realized it and stopped by the motel to retrieve it a few hours later. A maid had already figured "finders keepers" and had sent the jacket down to the laundry room to be washed.
