The motel was clean and comfortable. The young kids that oversee the pool area did not in any way enforce that children unattened by adults not be in the hot tub. Also the breakfast was bad, I realize it was a holiday but the rolls were not something any of us cared for and there was no juice or milk for the kids.

The room was clean and the front desk staff was very nice. My daughter had a blast on the water slides in the pool area. The hot tub was the perfect tempurature. I had money stolen out of my room. I know where it was and was staying alone and the next morning it was gone. I did not report to Management as there was no proof at all. I wasn't housekeeping- someone when in the room in the evening. I would avoid this hotel as I have a feeling management might be involved.

I was given a room that cornered both the laundry room and housekeeping room. Very early they converged to start their day. Although they were not loud, the walls were very thin... I could hear everything they were saying and they were speaking in a low voice. Not very restful considering all the traffic through out the evening also..

The hotel its self was nice. But the breakfast was a joke. There was juice,milk,and store bought danishes that's it. So don't worry if when you make your reservations they say "breakfast not included" . Other than that my kids loved the pool area.

My stay at this hotel exceeded my expectations. The condition of the overall hotel is very clean. The room is cozy and quiet. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Very clean, tastefully furnished hotel. Seemed to have good "soundproofing". The pool and slides were great for kids and there was a lifeguard on duty. Front office staff was very helpful. The Legacy restaurant was very good, also. Wish the rooms were a little less expensive.

Hotel is aging, but still in good, clean shape. The waterpark is okay. The small kids pool is slippery in spots as my two year old and I both found out. The restaurant attached to the hotel is very good. Overall, the hotel is a great stay that is close to the interstate.

First of all the pool is great fun for all ages of kids but can get a little over crowded. Then you have the room that we stayed in. Well lets just say that the air conditioning did not work the best and I ended up not being able to sleep very well. It was a great intermission for our drive, easily found of the highway and the pool was a great way to reward our son for dealing with the longer drive. He's only 15 months old and the pool was perfectly suited for his needs. The bathroom in the room was very small and hard to move around in, especially when trying to get the kids ready. I picked this hotel for its location, free high speed internet and free breakfast included in the price. When I got there the staff told me that their restaurant was under renovation and that it was closed. They did have pastries set out in the morning instead but I was traveling with two road weary children. Sugary pastries are a bad idea as a breakfast […] item in such situations if you ask me. I am a little miffed because I paid for a more expensive hotel to have the convenience of a real breakfast! Anyway, such is life. This hotel has an amazing pool area complete with two huge water slides, a hot tub and a smaller kid slide area in a shallow pool. The Holiday Inn Hotel at Kearney, Nebraska was wonderful. Check in was speedy, efficient and yet very warm and friendly. The room was located in an area that had access to the parking lot outside, so in case we needed to go soon, the rental was just outside. Also, our room was just a stone's throw away from the waterslide area and the gym, both of which […] we used. The facilities and amenities are great and well-maintained. The housekeeping staff was very friendly. If we asked to have our room cleaned, although we had to wait, it was policy for the hotel to clean out the rooms already checked out of first. But still they were sweet to us and very apologetic about the inconvenience. There was a microwave oven and a refrigerator that was empty. I love that --- I never use the minibar, so seeing all that space in the ref was nice. There was a desk and lots of storage and drawers for clothes. Decent hotel in Kearny (there arent many others). Plenty of parking, right near the highway and a really cool swimming area with kid and adult waterslides.
