We were driving through Fresno on our way back from a funeral up north and decided to stay at this place. It wasn't bad considering the price that we paid. We booked it last minute, and considering where we stayed the night before, this place was a dream in comparison. Our room was clean (but slightly dated) and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast […] was basic, to say the least. The waffles were stale... so I'd advise you to leave them alone on your next visit. The hotel is in a strip mall with McDonalds, so you could always go there if you get a case of the late night munchies. The staff was really friendly. It's easy to find, even for an out of town guest. In my book, it provided my family and I with "the 3 Goods"... good nights rest, good hot bath in the morning, and a good little snack before hitting the road in the morning. So I give it 2 thumbs up! I have stayed at Ramadas before, and usually they are nice. But this one in Fresno, was not a good experience. The desk staff was courteous, but the room wasn't what I booked, they did change to one that I booked after I called them. Both rooms had odors of mold. The new room housekeeping skipped cleaning spots and replacing items etc, and in both rooms […] the carpentry looked like they should have contacted Angie's list. the handicap bathroom needs a place to put your personal things in the bathroom and a microwave in room and why is the refrigerator on the floor??? you cant get in it unless you are on the floor the bathroom floors are sleepier.

The decor is a bit dark that is the drapes and bed and pillow covers are heavy into browns/blacks/burgundys, so that the spacious rooms feel smaller and are not open, friendly, or cheery. If the walls were painted in ilghter, brighter colors that would make a huge difference as well. The hotel is close to everything! Food gas freeway etc. ten minutes from childrens hospital which is where I neede to get to and from easily. the lobby is beautiful and eligant. I called to confirm my reservation and was not informed that our room would be one flight of stairs and no elevator service. We had fresh food and refreshments so we took the room. No one offered to help us with our luggage (we are both in our seventies). I left a nice tip for the housekeeping, but our room was not properly cleaned. My room wasn't clean the floor still had trash on it the pillows were on the couch there was only 1 towel in the bathroom an we were booked for 2 people. The entry door to the section of rooms is left open all day& night they had the entry doors held open by looping rope thru the door to the metal rail for the stairs. Also I forgot my phone in the room when I came back it had been moved an my screen was shattered so I wasn't to happy about that. We went during 100+ degree weather so the AC in the room took hours to work. After 4 and a half hours, I had enough and called the front desk about the temperature. The guy on duty was the same one who checked us in so he switched us to a different room down the hall. The staff helped us move our things which was great. With the sweltering heat it took […] probably a minimum of 6 or 7 hours to eventually cool off the room. We were asleep after a long of driving so I'm not sure how long it took. There are no ice machines on the 2nd floor and the one by the pool was out of order. The fridge wasn't very cold either. The pull out sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. It's a bit far from the strip of restaurants and shopping area but only a 10 minute drive to get there I guess. Overall it was an ok hotel to stay at for the weekend. Staff was friendly and helpful but they could definitely use some upgrades with the AC and fridge. Read more

The room seemed clean but there was no mini refridg and the Ice machine was out of order! It was 106 degrees. The free breakfast was in the bar and it was dark and the host was behind the bar clipping his nails!!!!! Once is enough. Thanks

I was given a handicapped equiped room (I am not handicapped) which had less furniture and a very stark bathroom compared to the other rooms I've had here in the past... I didn't complain, so maybe it's my fault, but the Ramada on Shaw at the 99 freeway is a lot better...smaller, newer, cleaner and with a much nicer breakfast

The room was nice & clean. There was a small refrigerator, not in a cabinet, just set on the floor near the bed. No microwave. Nice to have the frig, but better if they had a cabinet for it & include a microwave. Hotel grounds are well kept but run down. Jacuzzi was not working along with some of the ice machines.

Just didn't feel that the room was clean. The upholstery on the fold-out bed/loveseat was not clean. Desk chair was very very squeaky. The staff and the service were wonderful.

We specifically advised, we reserving, that we wanted two queen beds. We arrived at the hotel before checking time and had an event to get to. We were assured a room with two queen beds would be saved for us. When we checked in late afternoon we were told they only had king bed available.
