Everything was fantastic except we could not get the room to cool off. We all woke up several times during the night because we were so hot..The temperature wouldn't go down enough to cool us off. But overall, it was great.

the room itself is cramped and doesn't give much room for anymore than 1 person, the room did have a small fridge but was old and 'beat up." the bar area was clean and food ok for snack. the restaurant was expensive for a 'buffet" breakfast and i would leave hotel for breakfast. i think the rating of 3/5 is a fair rating

Traveling with three children under the age of 4 can be challenging. thye staff went out of their way to talk with our children and accommodate their needs. We felt right at home. One night of our stay was on Saturday, when the hotel was hosting some event in the lobby and restaurant/lounge, and the hotel was exceptionally busy and loud. I was surprised that in order to access wi-fi guests are charged $12.95 per day. This was surprising considering most Mariotts on the west coast and the Northern states do not charge for wi-fi. I think the organization should re-consider charging wi-fi.

This is the second time my family and I have stayed here, and the service has always been outstanding. Their shuttle driver called out, so the hotel paid for my son's taxi from the airport. The brunch is fabulous, and the workout facilities great. The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful.

Small room but very comfy! I slept great! There's no mini fridge or microwave which was a bit dissapointing. But the restaurant in the hotel isnt too bad! And the mall is a 5 minute walk with a ton of options. Just be careful of the traffic! Very busy road to cross.....over all I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in a great location. There is Crabtree mall across the street and it is easy access. The beds were some of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on!!!

After arriving at the front desk, immediately after the "hello" was "picture ID and Creditcard, Sir". I said, "why a creditcard?" The receptionist said, "for miscellaneous expenses of course, i.e., telephone and movies". I told the receptionist, "there will be no miscellaneous expenses". The receptionist then replied, "okay, I'll turn off the telephone […] and movies." I was in town with wife and kids to shop at the mall. The location was great, the service was good, and the room was clean. However, the toliet was backed-up and maintenance was called to plunge it. Maintenance was prompt, and the toliet was operable in no time. Nevertheless, before we left, the toilet had backed-up again. Usually, internet service comes with the room, but not here, Marriott wanted an additional $14.00 to connect to the internet. Kids and wife went to the pool and hot tub, but returned quickly saying the hot tub wasn't working properly. Should you decide to stay here get ready for all the additional charges if you want to connect to the internet, telephone, movies, etc. Read more

This was our second stay at this location. the hotel was not as busy as the first visit which was closer to Thanksgiving. We have chosen to stay here based on the walking distance to the mall and restaurants in the crabtree valley area.

Hotel is within 200 yards of the crabtree valley mall on glenwood ave. There is only one hotel, la quinta I believe, that may be closer (behind the mall). The staff were friendly, but it seemed as if they operate with a very MINIMAL staff. This hotel seems to be used VERY FREQUENTLY for LARGE PARTIES/WEDDINGS, so there are always a lot of people wondering […] around the main lobby area. Our room was the handicap accessible room on the 6th floor. We found the room and bed to be clean and tidy, however the shower was grotesque with visible mold in the tile and caulking. We stayed at the Renaissance at North Hills last month and it was DEFINITELY worth the extra money compared to this place. Read more

Great hotel. Clean and quiet. Location is right near the Crabtree Mall. It is always congested and I assume if you needed to get somewhere during business rush hour- you might need to add some extra time. The hotel itself was lovely. Close to North Carolina State University and Meredith.

I have stayed in this hotel several times, but it has been awhile. The hotel is fine, but it seems more on par with a Courtyard rather than a Marriott. Our room smelled musty, like it had flooded at some point. The furnishings and lobby were fine, but they were not as nice as you would typically expect at a Marriott. The hotel is in an excellent location, across the street from Crabtree Valley Mall and an easy drive downtown, to NC State and to the NC State Fairgrounds. Also, the service was very good. In summary, I would say that the hotel just doesn't feel as nice as it used to; the clientele has changed; and it needs a bit of a remodel. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Marriott we came Raleigh to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary & visit our son & daughter who lives in Raleigh. This was my second time staying at the Marriott Crabtree, and each time was a great experience. The restaurant food and service was friendly, prompt and very good. The hotel is located very close to the airport, so we were at the hotel in no time at all. My better half loves to shop, so Marriott's location next to the Mall was very convenient, and rout […] 70 connects you to all of the surrounding locations that you need to get to. I was attending a workshop with several co-workers. I'm from the West Coast and love coming to NC as it is a pleasure to experience southern courtesies and hospitality. Unfortunately, I did not have this experience at the Marriott. It felt as though I were still in California, and I was an interruption to the employees’ day. I stayed for the two days […] I could not cancel, and I then moved to the Embassy Suites next door. They were not only friendlier, but breakfast and “happy hour” were included in the room price.
