Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel - Harrisburg

Came here to go to Hershey! Great location only 8 miles away. The pool was awesome nice and warm loved the indoor/outdoor style pool. Just wish they would of had free continental breakfast! Other then that great room, pool, location!

I have never experienced more stained carpets - everywhere - halls, room, the lobby may be the only exception. Oh and there are stains on the towels, and bed cover. All I'll say of the elevators is you'll think your in a freight elevator. All this caused me to think I was staying at a trash hotel even though the bathroom (at least in my room) and the […] lobby are fine. Someone had smoked in our non-smoking room. We were offered a different room. Drain in sink was slow. Bar in closet was broken. Restaurant in hotel where we had breakfast needs to be updated. Tables were a dark brown color that looked scuffed-not attractive. Service was quite slow. Would recommend hotel overall.

I have been going to this exact hotel for the past 5 years. It has a great indoor/outdoor pool and it's close to all. However this stay we found it to be unsanitary , there were not enough towels for each guest in the bathroom and worse the towels had hair on them. Also the bathroom floor and tub had hair on them- even after they 'cleaned' it- the hair […] wasn't from anyone in my family. The previous years the rooms were cleaned well and even airfreshened. I think it's under a new management and if not I am positive it's a different cleaning company. The bed linens weren't changed the entire time we were there either. The hotel could use a make-over. It's finishes are a bit old and showing too much wear (wall paper pealing at seams, etc). My biggest concern is that they are storing maintenance / repair lock boxes and materials inside one of the exit stairs and given the condition of the walls in the stair, this does not look like an unusual condition. The pool was great, with a jacuzzi and movie! The hotel staff was so friendly, and the restaurant is nice. Then you get to your room.. I couldn't sleep, neither could the family. The air conditioner comes on every 2 hours or so and it's so loud! The sheets were really rough, so is the mattress. I very rarely rate anything this bad! But the Hotel is gross!!!! It is an old Hotel, but thats not the problem. Everything i had a problem with could have been fix, it just wasnt! 1) There was mold everywhere in the bathroom. I didnt even want my 4 yr old in there. 2) There were gross splatters on the wall 3) It smelled horrible 4) it hadnt been dusted […] in a while 5) the facets in the tub and sink hang loose. 6)only one elevator in the hotel worked, anytime we had to leave or come back we had to stand in line and wait, a while, for the elevator. 5 flights of stairs is too much when you have small children and your hands are full!...I would not stay here again if it was free, serriously! Hotel was very typical. My kids wanted to swim, why we picked this hotel. Pool wasn't heated. We lasted about ten minutes. Then we had kids running the halls until midnight an was very loud. Then in the morning we had no power in our bathroom??

Got good rate for Sheraton but property is old Not well kept, our bathroom was clogged both Days, shower tub was almost not usable. Great selection of restrnts nearby, pool condition Coukd have been better and cleaner.

We always look to stay here when going to Hershey and Lancaster attractions. It is conveniently located close to Route 283 and PA turnpike and 81 and 422! It has both an indoor and out door pool for the kids! I try not to stay anywhere else!

We stayed at room 804 the tile in the bathtub was almost coming out. For the price Sheraton are charging and for the name of the Hotel it is in a very bad condition. The only good thing was the pool. The Hilton or even Best Western are in a much better condition.

This is an old Sheraton Hotel that does not live up to what I normally envision a Sheraton to be. The carpets seemed at least 2 decades old; the bedsheets were dusty; and I even found a stink bug in my coffee cup!

The hotel has a nice appearance as you enter the lobby. Nice restaurant, business center, pool, etc. Even the room "looks" good. But I first noticed the stale smell, reminiscence of a room that has been smoked in. Then the poor cleaning job on the toilet seat. The Sheraton Hotel in Harrisburg, PA was a GREAT hotel! It's located about 15 minutes away from Hershey Park and the Outlet Center. There is a Target within the same location and lots of restaurants to choose from in the area. The front desk and entire staff at the hotel were really friendly and very helpful!
