Stayed here for business 3 nights. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was nice but had a few cosmetic defects in the bathroom (cap missing on faucet handle, clothes hook missing on back of bathroom door). Otherwise the restaurant and bar in the hotel were very nice. Would stay here again.

Our family stays here everytime we visit the Burgh. Kids love the indoor/outdoor pool. Cafe is convenient and the breakfast buffet is phenomenal. Great location, easy to find and clean.

This isn't the first time I've stayed at this hotel and it won't be the last. I love it! Beds are excellent!! Rooms are comfortable, we even went down to the hot tub. Warm cookies upon arrival was just a nice added touch. We went to see a show at the theatre, so it only took a few minutes to get down town from here.

Recent renovations have improved this hotel significantly. My only complaint is that my room still had a sleep number bed although it was not functioning. The cord was cut with the mattress in a deflated state.

Went for a Steelers game. Everything in town was 300.00 a night. This hotel had better rates and shuttle service to and from the game. Staff was very friendly and dressed in Steelers gear, (very cool). Hotel looks older on outside, but rooms were very clean, big flatscreen tv, clean bathrooms, etc. Very satisfied.

This is a comfortable hotel with a nice indoor/outdoor pool and indoor hot tub. Staff is very friendly. A restaurant/bar is located in the hotel. The fitness room is spacious and has lots of good equipment. Hotel runs a shuttle service to and from Heinz field for Steelers games.

The staff was lovely and its in the perfect location, just 5 minutes from my family's house in Crafton. Only complaint is that two of the towels were dirty the day I checked in.

Stayed here 3yrs ago when it's a Radisson. Now it's renovated as a Double Tree. It still has the same layout - gym, pool, full-service restaurant (w/ hh) and a newly installed bistro. The price can vary, but @ $120 it's acceptable.

Not a bad hotel, had a lot of nice furniture in the rooms. They failed to update the little things like fixtures in the show and light switches. Also had filth build up on the light switched and a nice collection of spider webs on the window.

My room was clean, the staff was excellent. There was nice coffeshop with a variety of food & beverages. I noticed there was an indoor & outdoor pool. Parking was free! The only downside was that there were a lot of kids staying there due to some kind of sports event, therefore making the elevator really slow because they were always on it

Fantastic hotel. I'm not the type to be picky, but I will rant and rave where credit is due! Awesome staff, clean and nice rooms, the bar was awesome, and the food was great! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel! We'll definitely be back next time we go see the Steelers play!

A pet friendly hotel is very accomadating, but when people leave multiple dogs alone in a room for hours on end to bark at each other, it's not so friendly. Multiple complaints made, even housekeeping notified hotel management of their concern. No resolution.

We traveled to Pittsburg to visit my daughter and attended an outdoor event on a rainy, blustery afternoon. After dinner we were looking forward to a relaxing swim and session in the Jacuzzi. We were surrounded by 4 or 5 small children ( one wearing water wings since she was about 3) all the time we were in the Jacuzzi. WHen we first stepped in one little girl said " We dont like the bubbles! " and was finally told by her mother to turn the dial, which she was guarding. We enjoy children and they seemed to be having a great time in the pool ( about 7 others) but have never been in a facility where there was not a sign requesting that children be a certain age in the hot tub. I read a small line in your brochure we says you are "going green" in your use of linens but i think it would be more successful if signs were posted in the bathrooms. Kudos to housekeeping. Our room was very clean as were all other areas. Thanks!

Bathtub was clogged and backing up. Reported it to staff and was told the problem was in room next door and was being fixed. Not fixed during two night stay. Also, when using whirlpool the timer dial did not work--set it for 10 minutes and motors were still running half an hour later.

The only disappointment was that we had an issue and needed a late check out, and even though I called hours earlier than the check out time, they only granted us 30 minutes. I thought at least an hour would have been more accommodating to the customer. It was unfortunate. But our stay was nice

Lovely hotel. I believe it used to be a Ramada Inn at one time, but has since been renovated. The outside is still rather old and unremarkable looking, but the inside is attractive and clean. However, it had the smallest bathroom I've ever been in--so small that the door blocked the toilet. You had to wedge yourself between the toilet and the sink to use the sink and mirror. And it had absolutely no towel racks in the bathroom, so there was no place to put a wet towel except on the floor or piled up on the small bathroom counter. Not much they could do about the size of the bathroom, but adding a towel rack to the back of the door or over the bathtub would help immensely.

I enjoyed my stay at Double Tree, Green Tree, but I think the directions to our room might have been better if there had been a simple map showing the location of our rooms. The use of the word "towers" is somewhat misleading -- and the location of 14th floor is not clear immediately -- so a map that could be given to a person who is checking in with their location shown would help to clarify matters. One complaint was that the toilet would not shut off properly. I trust it has been repaired.

We stayed here one night on our honeymoon, overall everything exceeded our expectations. It was much larger than I had anticipated but that was no issue for us. Definitely an older building which had been updated inside, and it could use a couple more updates. The biggest bummer was the number of kids in the pool area when we were hoping for a quieter night.

The Upper level Entrance B electronic card reader was defective and looks like it has been this way a long time. Disappointing as we and other guests struggled to get into hotel. Room was fine but electronic plugs were few and needed for light and TV. With people's computers and smart phones, you need those lamps with plugs in base or extender plugs for guest usage. Breakfast buffet and serving staff were outstanding. Desk staff friendly and professional. Great location.

This hotel is recently renovated, and the renovations were done well. I have two complaints: 1. As with most Hilton locations, the beds are Sleep Number adjustable mattresses - they were set on the most firm setting, and after not being able to locate a remote or control to adjust them, I asked the front desk staff about adjusting them, I was told they don't have the ability to do so. 2. Faulty equipment caused a fire alarm to sound and the hotel to be evacuated at 3:00am. When asked about compensation for the hassle, I was told there was nothing they could do.

For the money that we paid to stay here, we were very disappointed. No perks except a chocolate chip cookie when you check in. The young woman who checked us in was very nice, however the friendliness seemed to stop with her. No coffee, tea or snacks and no breakfast. One of the elevators did not work, although you would not have know this because during the entire time we were there no employee took the initiative to put some kind of sign on the elevator letting you know that it was not working - you had to figure this out on your own. When we went to our floor, all the rooms still had dirty sheets by the door. The hair dryer in the room did not work, so we went to the front desk to get another - they sent one up but the employees were not very friendly about it. If this had been an economy hotel I would have thought that you get what you pay for. I still haven't figured out what we paid for. we have stayed at cheaper places and received better service.

We picked this hotel because of how close it was to the casino and for how nice it looked online. It did not disappoint. The staff was very friendly, the hotel was clean and the room was cozy.
