We stayed one night before we embarked on a cruise. They were running many shuttles when we got out of the airport, so we waited no more than 5 minutes. The hotel is also very close to airport, so we were there in a matter of a few minutes. Although there was an error in the number of beds we had reserved, the desk staff quickly corrected it. They also […] showed me on some sort of "get away" meal plan which was different than the $10 breakfast package I had purchased. Again, to satisfy me, they just gave us all free breakfasts. The restaurant is very nice, but closes at midnight. Great breakfast! We also had some time the next day before heading to port, and the pool amenities are very nice. We loved everything about the hotel rather than the condition of our bathroom. The bathroom door handle was falling off, so we had to really put some muscle into opening it. There are also no vents in the bathrooms, so it was like a sauna...in a bad way. We also didn't have toilet paper. We called housekeeping multiple times, but the toilet paper was […] never delivered. We used tissues...haha! However, the young guy at the front desk was super friendly and helpful, and the facilities (including our bedroom) were beautiful and clean. Beds were very comfy. We had a beautiful stay overall the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were pleased with the room, however we had to asked the maid to come back to vacuum the room it look as if it hadn't been done for a few days.

I travel extensively, both US and Int'l and this was a solid experience. I had a room in the 8th floor in the concierge floors (7,8,9). The most important aspect for me is a comfortable bed with good pillows AND a nice clean well kept bathroom. This had both. I found the staff very helpful and asking genuine questions as to how to improve my experience. The […] only thing that would have improved my experience was a more varied menu in the Cane Fire grill restaurant. I found it restricted and expensive. I ended up ordering for delivery to my room. The hotel was very nice, upscale. Staff were extremely nice. The room was clean with all the amenities. However, I did find it strange that the room only had one wash cloth. The hotel is comfortable the location is close to the Miami airport; however, the lot that the hotel sits on is difficult to enter and exit between 4PM and 8PM due to horrible traffic. Beware, there is also a $15/day parking fee.

Everything was fine except that the shuttle service was not dependable. When you are staying at an airport hotel so that you are sure you can make connections, the shuttle service is the most important. This hotel does not have reliable, timely shuttle service. The shuttle was loaded on its first two swings through the airport resulting in a 40 minute […] delay in getting to the hotel. In the morning, the shuttle was delayed in returning to the hotel and off-loading passengers so that the ride to the airport was delayed by about 15 minutes - of course after the night before's experieince, we had allowed extra time. I would not recommend this hotel due to the limited and untimely response of the shuttle service. We booked the hotel for convenience in making international connections and it was awful. The shuttles from the airport are too limited for the number of guests arriving and you are told that they are full and another shuttle will be around "soon" which […] turns into another 40 minutes. The hotel is very old. You hear the nosy form the airplanes. But the real problem was the cleanliness. The hotel is old and smells like cigarret, specially in the rooms. This was one of the cheaper priced hotels in the Miami airport without having to stay in a flea bag motel. The lobby was beautiful and recently remodeled. This was not reflected in the rooms. The rooms were decent and not dirty but all updates were done on the lobby and nothing was done to any other levels of the hotel. The service was amazing and everyone […] was really helpful from the check-in to the restaurant server to the bell hop station and airport shuttle drivers. When we checked in at 10pm our room was ready which was annoying because after my long flight all I wanted to do was relax in my room. The check in desk made up for it by giving both me and my husband complimentary drink tickets at the bar. She even held our baggage behind the counter and called us on our cell phones when the room was ready. All in all it wasn't bad but not extraordinary. The staff definitely made my stay. Thanks! This is a nice hotel but you have to pay for everything extra: wifi, breakfast, parking, etc. I honestly wouldn't stay there again unless the cost of the room make up for the cost I have to pay for the "extra" stuff. Location is okay if you're traveling using Miami Airport but not much around it.

This hotel was clean, welcoming, etc. I liked that it was on a "campus" with other hotels, allowing more food options and a bigger gym. I did spend quite a lot on cabs though, so renting a car, or staying closer to downtown/the beach may actually be worth the extra cost if you're planning to do some siteseeing while in Miami.

I was concerned that the airplane noise could keep us awake but it wasn't too bad. The pure air machine was nice but the blue light was a bit bright in the night - it kind of served as an unwanted nightlight. My brother and his family were not able to get into their room until 9 PM and many others were also not able to get into their rooms until the […] evening for some reason. My biggest complaint is the inconvenience with getting to the hotel off of the freeway - no good way to turn into the parking lot without doing a U turn on busy street.
