The hotel is very nice. Everything is clean, upscale & convenient to everything in downtown Boston. I booked 2 waterview rooms. One had a gorgeous view over the Charles River & beyond. The other view was pretty disappointing for a waterview. You had to look to the far left or right to see the river or the harbor.

Very small room. Mediocre service for the tier of hotel. The location is difficult to beat, but you do not get much else for the price. If my conference were not physically located in the building, I would not have stayed there.

Average for the area. No fridge or microwave in room. Internet access is a bit of a hassle because you have to renew your internet selection every 24 hours -- standard access 13 per day, faster access 19 per day. Not a huge deal but one more thing to do each day if you want to have access to e-mail, etc. Stayed on 37th floor so sometimes watied 10 minutes […] for elevator. Nice views of the city from our room - which was smaller than expected. Staff was friendly and service descent. Nothing bad to say really but nothing stood out either. Read more

We had booked a room with two double beds for 4 adults - arrived at 3:30 pm on check in day and they only had rooms with king beds left. The hotel was swamped with high school/college kids for a conference. Elevator traffic (every floor light pushed on every elevator) and hallway noise was unbearable. I'd never stay there again. Not only was there no Internet connection they still charged me for it. And they charged me for it multiple times in one night as I kept getting disconnected and having to sign on again. I switch hotels to the Lenox which was 100 times better.

They spent a lot of money on the outer look of the hotel but ignored one of the important features that any hotel room should have and that is a comfortable bed and pillows! This hotel had one of the worst Mattress and pillows I have ever slept on.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times now and love it. Booking through Expedia gets you a great deal! Great amenities and it's attached to the mall - how can you go wrong? Within walking distance to a lot of great places and the Back Bay T stop (orange line). We just stayed during the infamous blizzard of 2013 and had a great time despite our other […] events being canceled - we hung out at the sports bar and in the jacuzzi instead. Easy parking either right at the hotel or print the discount coupon and park in the Prudential center lot, right around the corner. Shaw's is right across the street so you can stock up on drinks and food - the rooms we've been in have a refrigerator. Read more

The room was fine, though the beds a bit small. The hotel staff was also fine. The only exception was the restaurant - which was more of a sports bar. Though they claimed to have a gluten free menu - it was more the case of take away the rolls from existing items, rather than having gluten free rolls available. The biggest negative though was a situation […] that occured when a group at a neighboring table chose to stand, as if they were at the bar, instead of sit, literally leaving their butts hanging over our table. (Guess it was their version of gluten free buns!) Complained to the server who relocated us instead of telling them to sit at their table. Complained to the restautant manager on duty without much satisfaction either. Read more

Hotel has excellent location. Staff are terrific. For me, there were two short-comings: The bed would have been more comfortable with a real blanket instead of the down comforter and pillow-top (using the comforter I was too hot, without I was too cool); walls too thin (they shake when neighbor doors close, and don't fully block neighbor noise).

The Hotel was very nice. However, we had five in our room and we only had double beds. Very tight. The beds were not that comfortable. The hotel was in a great spot. Close to everything. Shopping was great. Food was very good. Even thee hotel restaurant was very good. Would go back to this hotel but next time request queen beds.

The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful and our stay met or exceeded expectations. The pool was refreshing and the food in the restaurant was great (although a little pricey). Our room looked toward Boston Harbor and we caught the sunrise which was a treat. You don't need to go outside to visit a multitude of shops. We had a wonderful time.
