"2 night stay"
Loved the room. Very large, clean and elegant. Love the bed! Just wished there was a fan in the bathroom to air out after shower. A mini refrigerator would be nice too. The shop downstairs in way overpriced.

The hotel served our purpose. We flew to Boston, rented a car a traveled the New England states. Not a lot of time spent in hotel but it was clean and comfortable. Lobby very loud.

"Everything was great besides the indoor pool."
The only thing that we hated about the hotel is the amount of screaming kids in the indoor pool. It was past 10 pm, we wanted to relax in the jacuzzi and the pool but both were full of 10 year old, noisy kids and parents who didn't care to shut them up. There should be a kids pool set up separately so adults could have some peace and quiet, especially for the price we paid.

"Nice"
We have stayed at this hotel many times. It's not the best and it's not the worst. They re did the front lobby and the restaurants. Very nice. But the rooms seem to be going down. Beds way too soft, air conditioning is on their control not yours. I found the staff to be a little more curt this time around. Not as nice as in the past. Also the parking has gotten much worse, since locals come there for the bar. Overall for what I needed it for it was fine. I was taking my son to college and the price was much better than the price of any hotel in Boston. Thank you hotels.com

While the accommodations were fair the hotel was VERY crowded with several sports teams. We waited almost an hour to be seated for breakfast. We made the sacrifice of staying a little further outside of Boston for a better rate but the wait time was unreasonable.

"Housekeeping"
Our stay was winderful. Just one little issue. Housekeeping would knock on our door and would start entering as I reached the door. She would come by at 9:30 am, even in check out day. Check out is at noon. Was not the alarm clock we were looking for as we were looking forward to a relaxing sleep in stay.

"Not your usual Marriott"
There must have been some wedding or event going. Walking into the lobby was like walking on to a convention floor. Very loud and chaotic. The lobby sits between the ballroom and the lounge. With no sound barriers, the lounge dance floor music extends out to the registration desk. Children ran and played throughout the lounge/lobby and elevators unattended. We paid for a concierge level room, but the desk clerk explained that it did not include access to the concierge lounge. Also, the complimentary Wi-Fi that normally comes with a concierge room was not available. The room had the familiar Marriott quality and cleanliness, and we slept quite comfortably and quietly.

"Good value"
The hotel is fine, have stayed here many times over a 25 year span. This last stay made me want to write a review. Upon checking into to the hotel the clerk at the front desk would not allow me to check in despite it being aprox 8:00 pm. We were staying here for a wedding and I had made a reservation which included 4 rooms. Apparently they kept insisting that "my" room was already checked in and I would not be allowed to check into any of my other 3 rooms which all were on the same reservation. So after sitting in the car for the last 5 hours now I am being told I cannot check into my room and will be late for dinner. Long story short I had to actually bring down another member of my party who then they allowed to check into a room which then became mine. All in all I can honestly say in all my years of staying in hotels I now understand why there are so many people complaining upon check-in. It was a very frustrating experience. Now on top of all of that the room was fine bed was horrible literally horrible pillows were soft as could be. And let's not even get started on the shower, now I get there trying to save water but there's a point when it's overkill when it takes a could half hour just to rinse the soap off.

"great location-needs some work"
the AC in our room was not adequate at all. we called down and asked for a fan but rather than sending a fan (or saying that they didn't have any) they had a maintenance man come up. he reached up near the ceiling and used his finger to open up the vent. he also lectured us on keeping the window closed (the tiny window you can open-which we only opened because the room was so hot), and to also close the bathroom door because it's "steamy" when someone takes a shower. you also need to update your room service menus because we were charged more than the menu said we would be charged.

"Just ok"
Stayed there this last weekend. Stay was comfortable. Room was practically a dorm room. Asked for a roll away bed but barely fit in the room. Nice pool. Overcharge for breakfast, dinner and wifi. Didn't use either. Nearby local Restuarant and stores just in case.

"Unclean Room"
The hotel has a nice look and the food at the hotel restaurant was great. However my Room/accomodations were small for my family size and most importantly my room was not properly cleaned (there was a half empty water bottle on the bedside table, musty smell towels) When I told Service desk about the issues with the room they advised that since i booked through a 3rd party they could not help me but they would let housekeeping know. I felt as if my concerns were disregarded.

"Had a good experience"
THE HOTEL WAS VERY NICE. The people working the hotel were friendly and eager to help with going into the city of Boston. I did get slightly lost going into the city and got yelled at by a police officer who was directing traffic in the city. He was very rude and I think it was because I was from NY. It seems some people in Boston are envious of the Yankees baseball teams fame. But Im a Mets fan

The buffet breakfast was fabulous! Our room rate included this and it was wonderful. I would definitely look into having it included in your room rate. Also was able to have wireless included in our rate. We attended a 3 day conference and all of our food was delicious. Great job, Marriott!

"Near our family"
The hotel was very quiet and comfortable. It was the 4th of July weekend and the hotel was very busy. We needed help with our luggage but it was difficult to find someone to help us. Otherwise it was fine.

They put us in a tiny room with one King bed and a rollaway bed, when we had specifically signed up for a room with double beds. The rooms were clean, but maneuvering around in a tiny space made it hard to enjoy our stay. The breakfast was really nice, as was the location, and the hotel staff were courteous. I wish they had kept up their promise of providing a room with double beds, or at least given us a room with more space. That is why I'm giving it a low rating for comfort.

Very satisfied, the hotel is in a nice location and with excellent surrounding neighborhood. We like this hotel very much. The restaurant inside the hotel is also served good food, we like it. The only minor complain I had is about the in room Wi-Fi service, they charged the services if you used Wi-Fi connection in your room. This did not seem right in the technology age. Other than this, the entire stay was very pleasant.

I would not recommend this hotel....I paid $$$$ for this hotel and I stay in a lot of hotels for business and pleasure. This hotel rating should have been a Three star not a four and a half. The room in the pictures look nice but, in reality they are no more then a three star. The room I was staying in air conditioning was broken. The front desk sent maintance to fix it. His solution was to bring in a fan.....So for five days I didn't get much sleep. The prices for the food were very expensive and of poor quality.
