We stayed their during our wedding weekend. The location is great however the room was very dirty. Ants all over bathroom mold growing all over tub and ceiling. Horrible odor that they tried to cover up with Febreze. Dust rags left on nightstand, phone broken, the TV didn't work. The staff was wonderful. The carpets had just been cleaned and the carpet was very wet. We asked to be moved but the inn was fully booked. It was totally dry on the third day but that was something that was out of their control . Thay were very appologetic . All in all a great place and we will stay there again.

We got married across the water at the Lighthouse and did our send-off on a boat to end up at the Inn on Shem Creek! We only stayed here for one night before leaving for our honeymoon. We had a great time in the short time we were there. The room was clean and spacious. We'd definitely stay again.

My wife and I loved it. The location was great for everything we wanted to do. Two very nice restaurants next to hotel with excellent food, prices and service. The room was clean and very comfortable. The action on the river was entertaining through the day and the staff was friendly and helpful.

This hotel was wonderful for proximity to great seafood restaurants, Patriots Point, Boone Hall and the Old Village. It's only 10 min from historic Charleston. Room was clean, beds were extremely comfortable. Loved the location. Nice boardwalk/pier in the back of the hotel and we took a nice walk after dinner. Even saw a dolphin there! Nice continental breakfast too.

The Hotel staff were great and very accommodating, our heat went out and the unit had a terrible burning smell, they were really great and moved us to another room. Beds were really comfortable . Breakfast nothing special, but ample. Location was perfect, easy access to Downtown Charleston and good restaurants in close proximity.

The hotel was wonderful with one exception, I thought it was advertised with breakfast which toe means a hot meal option. A continental breakfast is usually specified, additionally the coffee in the lobby was not kept full or warm all day.

Some of the fixtures and fittings could do with attention - the door to our room's balcony, for example, which did not move properly on its runner. nor lock without a struggle. When I first got there I didn't expected to get this from a 3 stars hotel , first the parking l lot was full of water and it was hard to get your self out of it easily, and because of the the elevator was full mud and water as well. The bed in the room are not comfortable at all.

The room was very nice. Everything in the room (and in the hotel) was clean. The only clerk on duty was not at the desk when we arrived and we waited for a few minutes until he came back (it probably seemed longer than it was as we were very tired). The beds were comfortable and slept well, but the walls were much too thin. The folks in the room next […] door were having a conversation at (I think) a normal level and we could hear them pretty well. We had the same problem with people in the hallway. We didn’t eat breakfast there but it looked like a "carb-fest" and I try to limit my carbohydrate intake. However, the coffee was good. Parking is limited under the hotel, but there is a lot of parking in the shared lot in front of the hotel. It was cold and rainy, and I had to go back out into the rain and drive around for an hour before returning. The staff members we encountered were not overly friendly but were not rude either. The room was clean but in general the hotel could use dome updating. Also the walls were not insulated well enough. Could her conversations and "other" things going on in rooms next door.The location is excellent.

We were familiar with Shem Creek area and were happy to be able to stay at the Inn. The staff were wonderful and room was clean and comfortable. Love the location--able to get to Charleston, Patriots Point, Isle of Palm, etc. with ease. Would highly recommend.

wasn't able to get a creekside room, but with the nightlife on the docks at shem creek marshside turned out to be the better of the two...the room was immaculate, and serviced everyday by 10...not much to do in the way of entertaining children, but for a romantic 'out of the way' place 10 minutes from downtown, this is hard to beat...

Always a little worried when you don't know anyone that has stayed there but, all the staff were very friendly and helpful with directions to places we wanted to see. Lots of places to eat close by.
