What a dump! Only one of two elevators for a multi-level hotel were working and then only six people or two people with luggage could fit. We had to walk down the steps with our luggage because elevators were unavailable on a busy morning when planes and ships had to be boarded. No continental breakfast as advertised. It work for us only 2 nights. One before the cruise and one after. They said they had contential breakfast and the dining area was close. The restroom on the main floor was out of order. This hotel has absolutely no bells or whistles for the price. it should be more like $40/night. The beds are awful, no pictures on walls, dirty carpet, felt like a jail cell. Place is old and has never been updated in who knows how long. Staff doesn't smile or the just give one word answers. Only one of the elevaters was working for our entire stay. Dirt and dust everywhere. What are the perks you ask...affordable and convenient to the cruise Port and Bayside market.

I stayed at the Bayside hotel for 2 days before going on a cruise. This hotel is one of the closest to the ship port. The bayside attrections and the a airlines basketball arena is even closer. This hotel is also the cheapest you will find in the ares. The hotel is old. Rooms were the smallest I've evern seen. The window might as well not have even been there. Opaque and high up on the wall. The bathroom was barely big enough to step into. The only good thing about the hotel was that it was close to the event I was atttending.

I thought the location of this hotel great, I know the price we paid was cheap but I have stayed at other Hotels for the same price and they were not luxury by any means but very clean. There is no reason to stay here. The location is good but the Holiday in is next door for the same price and they employ housekeepers. We thought for sure we would find a dead hooker under the bed, this place is just disgusting.

I loved that it was close to so many great places! It is right across Bayside and the Miami Heat Arena. Shopping places, business district, port of miami, park, etc. i just really loved the location. The hotel itself was alright. It was not great, but also not bad.

Overall where the hotel is located is absolutely great. You're right across from Bay Side where this so many outlets where you can shop, get great food, and just relax. Where my room located I had an awesome view of the water and the bridge when it was lit up at night. But my room was not that great. Soon as you got off the elevator and reached the […] floor I was greeted with an unpleasant smell. The beds in the room were not comfortable. Very firm and almost could feel the springs in the bed. My room was a two queens and one of the beds had a huge dent in the middle of it like someone broke the bed. The beds were also very low to ground. Like as if you were sleeping on the floor. The sheets look barely clean. The tv in my room only had maybe 4 working chanels. One chanel that did work had no sound for what ever reason. The amenties in the room where not update. So if you're expecting the flat screen tv, lavished room, and at least a microwave in the room, and a ice machine somewhere in the hotel; don't expect that hear. The only great thing I loved about the room was how big the room was and the great view from the window, and it was very peaceful and quiet there. So I was able to sleep with a little interuption from housekeeping. I wouldn't recommend this hotel due to it's lack, and maybe a few things they should upgrade (like the furniture in the room at least). But if you're only concerned with location then this would be a good hote just for that. Read more

There were dead roaches on the wall, the rooms smelled like cigarette smoke and it was labeled NON SMOKING. The communication between the parking garage and was misinformed. The hotel stated it was 10 dollars a day and the garage charged 20 dollars a day.

I will not advise anyone to stay at this hotel. The pictures on the web site and the hotel are not the same. The hotel had old worn out furniture in the lobby and in the rooms. The smell of urine was in the lobby. The hotel is very old and no upgrades had been done to the hotel. I stay there all of 5 minutes. That was just enought time to get a connection […] on my lab top and book a reservation at a famous name brand chain hotel. Then I had to pay $10 for valet parking that I used 10 minutes and then they lock your vehicle in at 9:45 PM, so if you valet you have to catch a cab or public transportation. Then if you leave to go out and come back, you have to pay to park again. It was a horrible experience with this hotel. Read more

Previous to this last ocassion my wife and I stayed at the hotel and we were very impressed, hence the reason why we returned. The carpet in the room is very dirty, the bed smells very old, the bath towels were sometimes dis-coloured and had stains on them, sometimes small ones were left in the room for us to use, there were no towel racks to hang them […] on, there was no place for the bath soap,it is being placed on a very small area on the face sink, no place for the extra roll of toilet paper, it was stuck between the handle to flush the toilet and the pipe, the room smells old, there was not even a gym for use. No facility to get something to eat or drink, the rest rooms in the lobby area were out of order, there are many other things to mention but at this time I cannot remember them. The sum of money we paid for the stay of six (6) nights did not worth it. At one point in time we thought of checking out and check into one of the better nearby hotels which we also stayed on a previous ocassion. We regretted having decided to stay at the hotel and will not patronise the it in the future unless the standard improve. Read more

For the price this is a good hotel if you need somewhere to stay for one night before you go off on a cruise as the port is very near only found 3 things that would put me off staying longer 1) The air conditioner was loud im my room 2) couldn't find any internet connection or any spare sockets and 3) no coffe or tea in room and at night bar shut and […] no soda vending machine so if u want a drink of soda or anything after the bar shut ( and I got there just after 9pm and it was shut already on a Friday night ) so if u want a drink at night come prepared or expect to walk a block to the 24 mini store/ coffee shop, not good if ur like me and wake up in middle of night needing a drink as have to get fully dressed and go out of the hotel to buy a drink.
