The location of this Marriot was perfect for it's proximity to the American Airlines arena and the view of the bay. We had a small balcony off the room. We had a very comfortable king bed. I was very satisfied except for two things. Although the breakfast buffet was very good, the other food services in the hotel as well as in the neighboring/adjoining hotel were very limited or overpriced. Also, the offering through room service were very limited and the Chinese restaurant in the neighboring hotel, for example, was very disappointing […] and was essentially without any clients other than ourselves during the two days that we were guests. While the people working as concierges in this hotel were friendly and motivated, they lacked maps to enable tourists to navigate the city (or even the neighborhood) easily. We stayed at the Marriott Biscanye Bay from Wednesday, August 22, 2012- Saturday, August 25, 2012. The staff immediately welcomed us and were really courteous, professional and informative. My only concerns were the air conditioning in our room would not cool past 78 so it was a little uncomfortable but not too bad since we keep our home at about 75. […] The other thing that would've been nice was if the hotel had a shuttle service to and from the airport. Nevertheless, there were plenty of taxis and the metro station was only about two blocks away. Room service was great, a little pricy but expected. We paid $47 for breakfast for two. It was worth it though. The hotel offers a late night menu but it does not include any kind of dessert. There are a lot of small stores for shopping and snacks and also a great liquor store, which really came in handy. We had dinner at Primo's, which was excellent. Their menu includes a salad or soup, entre with two sides and dessert for $17.95. Happy hour is 2 for 1 but does not include wine. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again.
