We stayed here while visiting DC. They dropped us off for free at the train station and picked us up. They were extremely nice and very helpful. There were many places to eat nearby and the in hotel restaurant was very good.

There were very loud, drunk guests partying until all hours of the night. When we left for breakfast Sunday morning, there was vomit all over the hallway. I know the hotel can't control their guests but we still wouldn't stay here again.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location was great as I stayed there the night before a training class nearby. I felt the front desk staff could have been a little more friendly otherwise I had no problems with my stay.

Not too much. Room was sub-par - not filthy, but not the cleanest room either. I was there for a week, and I don't think the sheets were changed once. Staff was rather stand-offish. I don't think I'll be staying there on my next trip to Gaithersburg. Had I actually spent more time in the room, I probably would have complained about something.

Stayed for the inauguration weekend the staff was extremely helpful, quick, and friendly even through all the hectic and craziness of the vistors demands and schedules. Overall, the Hilton was a great deal--price, location, and comfort. I loved the new HD flatscreen and the bed slept great. Only issues were (1) scalding hot water in the shower and first day, I could not turn it off. It took staff about 45 minutes to respond. I hated this hotel. I is over rated and hiden charges. Was told one price and then when I pointed out a sign the priced changed, the front desk was VERY rude. Wanted to talk to a manager and was there for 3 days no one has called me, even since I left. I hav stayed in better places in Gaithersburg, would not send anyone here.

Room was clean and the king size bed was very comfortable. The room darkening shades let my husband and I sleep until 8:30am (unheard of at home!). Our only complaint was the noise coming from the room above ours (we think)--loud, running. crying children, until 2:00a.m.! I should have phoned the front desk but I guess I was too tired. A very comfortable hotel room and very clean. nothing major negative to report except slow room service time and the convenience store in the lobby seemed closed always! Very good location with a Sam's Club right there within walking distance and a near by mall with a drug store, food places and even a McDonalds near by. Stayed for 2 nights. On first morning out I noticed that my door wasn't locking. I told the front desk staff that there was a mechanical problem with it and it needed to be fixed. They were quite dismissive and told me that it just needed to be re-set electronically. The room was very comfortable and accommodating (complimentary fridge/freezer and safe). The hotel is poorly marked (we ended up parking at the wrong side of the hotel). The front desk staff was not very friendly and frequently gave conflicting information.The outdoor pool deck was dirty so we decided to skip swimming in the pool. If you are traveling […] on a budget, be prepared to pay an extra $50 per day upfront to cover any incidental charges. Because the city was working on the red metro line, again, it took us over 2 hours to get into downtown DC which meant 4 hours of travel each day. There is a shuttle available to drop you off at the metro stop which saves time waiting on the bus. The shuttle drivers are fantastic. It works on a first come, first serve basis so plan accordingly. Overall, we had a good stay but if you are planning to head into the city each day for sightseeing, we would recommend choosing a different hotel, closer to downtown. Read more

The hotel room itself is just "nice"... however, probably a notch or two above what I was expecting for the fair rate that I paid. What really made the stay an enjoyable one was great customer service. We didn't have a fridge in our room and had brought back some food; when we asked if we could put it in the hotel kitchen, the front desk had a fridge […] brought to our room within 30 minutes. I also called customer service and asked for some sewing material to do a quick hem on one of my dresses and a sewing kit was brought up within 10 minutes. We regularly slept in and would ask housekeeping to come by our room after we'd finally gotten up and left for the day; they always would oblige us and were very nice about it. Our room was not cleaned the third day of our stay (after the second night) until after 3 thee):00pm. By then,.....??!! The coffee service was not replaced after the first or second night, I had to ask for more by calling housekeeping, as by the 3rd day I had no more coffee, sugar or creamers. The pool lifeguard was surly, talking on his cell the whole […] time my husband, grand daughter and I (who were the only ones) were there. There were no clean towels, and we had to "interrupt" his conversation twice. The pool was cold, so we wanted to be in the sun, but he told us we could not be outside as there was no lifeguard. When we asked him why he could not be outside with us, he said he needed to clean the outside pool first (there were 3 leaves in it).
