"Nice stay"

My wife and i enjoyed our stay. Clean rooms, very nice atmosphere. This hotel is very close to many restaurants, the Portland mall, and the interstate. I booked this hotel for the proximity and for the indoor heated pool and hot tub. Would love to visit again.

The room was a good size and clean.The king size bed was firm but comfortable.The hotel was centrally located off I95 and had easy access to 295.The hotel had all amendities at the location, including internet access in the rooms.It was located within 100 yards of a nice public golf course. The only problem was accessing the hotel going north on I95. You had to exit onto Hwy295, exit again, cirlce around to Maine Mall Road,go to mall(road at mall signs not up)take a left, go around the mall,at 3rd light turn left(st. on right Gorham and st. on left is running hill), and go straight to Sable Oaks sign, turn right. The signs were confusing the first time.

"Greatest Bed!"

Marriott beds are the most comfortable - but need better pillows. Also, room too warm at night to sleep comfortable tho - can't turn the AC down below 62 degrees - wanted it set at 60 degrees - the comforter is too warm, and just the sheet is not enough. There were in the middle of renovations, so a little inconvenient, but worked around it - the buffet breakfast that was included in our stay was very nice.

A nice establishment thatis conveniently located. Knowledgeable staff. Due to renovations and improvements at the time we were unable to enjoy all of the hotel's amenities.

"Its no Westin!!!"

The beds were comfortable. The room was clean. There was no mini bar in the room and no bottles of water. I find that to be unusual these days not to atleast provide a bottle of water since there is no mini bar. Room was not ready until almost four oclock and the two rooms ( we are a family of four ) were 5 doors away from each other. That was also annoying.

"Very nice hotel"

The only problem we had was we reserved a queen bed and they only had two doubles, however the manager on duty simply upgraded our room to a king so I cannot complain there. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The pool and jacuzzi were both nice. As was the hotel bar which stayed open until midnight so we could finish the night off with a nice drink before bed. Overall I found the service very good, the receptionist was very polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

"Dog friendly Memorial Day"

Our stay over Memorial Day weekend was terrific and their policy of alloing dogs to stay on the property with their owner will have us coming back to this hotel. We stayed on the first floor with a slider that opened to wooded area that was terrific for walking our friend. We met several other dog owners in this area who were resposible and respectful. GREAT experience.

Very forthcoming and friendly personnel, surprisingly good food choices in the hotel restaurant. Convenient location for visiting Maine's coastal areas from Rockland (North) to Kennebunk, Ogunquit (South). Very good value for money.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were very good quality. We got reservations that included breakfast. It was certainly worth the cost. They have the most wonderful breakfast buffet. Also I loved the soaps and shampoo in the room. They were from "Bath and Body" ginger orange. The staff was helpful and friendly.

"Friendly Staff and Great Food"

Family of 6 in Maine for hockey tournamentloved the hotel. We ate all our meals in the hotel (kids eat free if pay extra $20/night) and food was great. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Beds were perfect. Everything worked perfect. We had a great time.

This is a great place to stay. Wonderful staff very friendly and helpful. They gave me a portable fan to use ( the one in my room was connected to the thermosat and did not have the option to stay on constantly) I need the fan noise to help me sleep....They gave me one no problem. Food was great. The wirlpool was a nice way to end my day! I will stay there again!

The Marriott is clean and has updated and classic interiors. The pool, hottub and sauna are excellent, well maintained and clean. The service is always quick and polite. One of my favorite get-aways. Lots of restaurants near-by and an onsite breakfast buffett that is delicious and bountiful.

Beds were very comfortable. Room service was excellent which was lucky because there wasn't anything nice nearby. I would rather be in Downtown Portland and/or have a view of the ocean/ harbor.

Everything was as I Expected. The only thing that was odd was the drywall patch that was not finished above the shower head from a previous repair. I would stay there again.

We chose this hotel because the owner had donated a 3 night stay at another one of his hotels to the Ronald McDonald house and my Husband was the lucky recipient, we wanted to give our buisness to a company like that. The stay was perfect, the room was good the cleanliness was good, and when there was a problem with our remote control, it was fixed immediately. Also I recomend the Breakfast option if you plan to eat at the hotel, you can't get a better deal.

We were able to check in 2 hours before the regular check in time with no problems. Both of my daughters loved the fact that we could go swimming till 11pm! The room service was excellent the employees are very friendly. Great hotel for the money and we look forward to going back!

Our initial room was not quite up to par. The doors on the closet were off track, and the table lamp still had a price tag half removed. Then, we discovered the door to our room did not lock. The staff were very gracious, and immediately gave us another room. The second room seemed much nicer, but the bathroom had not been thoroughly cleaned. There were spots on the toilet and the floor just below the front of the toilet which looked like someone had run over them with a dry cloth. Gross! It did take some effort to figure out the heating/cooling in the room. There were 2 controls, and we did not find the directions. Everything else was quite nice. The beds were ultra comfy. Can't make up for inadequately cleaned toilets, in my mind though...

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights with a snowstorm the first night of our stay. They barely plowed the parking lots, my husband had to push our car out of a spot twice, once early in the morning and then again around 4 in the afternoon. They never shoveled any of the walkways until after 11am. We were there for a romantic get away without our kids and we heard screaming kids running up and down the halls days and nights. There was no getting in the pool or the hot tub because there were 30-40 kids in them all day.
