The Hotel was nice, rooms were comfortable and clean. The beds were especially comfortable. Only thing I would mention would be that the heater/air conditioner had no controls. There are not many eating establishments within walking distance (except for fast food). The Hotel buffet breakfast was good and reasonably priced at $15 ($1 of which goes to charity). They have a complimentary shuttle van which took us to Station Square to eat dinner. Unfortunately, the driver was very busy that night and we had to wait a half hour for him to pick us back up. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay at a Marriott again, but perhaps closer to eating and entertainment next time. Overall, a very satisfactory experience.

Room Service was aweful. They blew my order and then came up again with the wrong items..and again...3 times on the same morning. I gave up and went to Starbucks. I asked for a 7am wake up call for a business meeting. They never called. I'm glad that I set my phone as a back up or I would have missed my meeting. We could not get service in the hotel after the game on sunday night. They were way understaffed and not prepared at all for the many groups that were in the hotel. The hotel was completely booked. There was no excuse for the poor planning by management.

Very impressed with my stay. My fiance and I decided to head to Pittsburgh for dinner and a night out and I chose the Marriott after other reviews on hotels.com. The staff was great. Very helpful, very considerate. Even a gentleman carry glasses through the hallway was kind enough to smile and wish us a good evening. It is the small things like that gesture that make the difference to me. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was slightly small but still did the job. Also bar located in the hotel had a great atmostphere with some great people in it. From the valets to the room service. A+

We couldn't have been happier. This was a much needed get away BEFORE our third child is born. Best night's sleep in a long time, of course it helped that grandma had the other 2 boys at her house. The beds were the most comfortable and if we could afford it, one of them would be in our bedroom. I would recommend this to anyone going through the area or even if you just want a night away from home.

Unhappy with initial room because of noise issues, we were happily and politely moved to an upgraded room when we asked for different accommodations for the second night. Avoid rooms ending in 27 as they are actually part of the elevator system and your headboard is against the elevator shaft - whooooosh, whooooosh all night long. Great staff at the front desk helped us figure out the city and take advantage of the great - and mostly free - public transportation. Great weekend. Go to the ball game and sit high above home plate - don't bother watching the game - the view of the city and bridge are awesome - night game best!
