Weekend trip from Seattle was quite enjoyable because of the great location, friendly staff, and accommodations at the Hyatt.

We were met with a friendly and helpful reception desk lady who personally showed us how to operate the new elevator system. Our room was very nice, very comfortable, with great views of the city and of the waterway. There was a handy refrigerator though no microwave, which would have been nice with our restaurant leftovers. The coffee maker made a […] pretty good cup of coffee quickly. I think the best of our stay was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The hotel also had a terrific location, convenient to everything in the city. Absolutely supurb views from our room window. And quiet too, very, very quiet.

From the moment we stepped out of our taxi. We were treated as royality. They made sure our room was exactly as we had requested before we walked in the door. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. We had breakfast delivered the next morning that was wonderful. The elevators were a really help. I went to a concert in Vancouver and from the Hotel it was only a 5 minute drive. The hotel flagged down a taxi for us, we had to do nothing. The hotel room is very big and comfy (we got the double bed room). Very spacious, nice for us 5 girls that stayed in one room and all got ready for the concert there. No bumbing eachother or getting in eachothers […] way. Overall, I loved this hotel. I would definitely reccommend it to everyone. (family, friends, business). modern furnitures, bed and bathroom fixtures. Staffs are courteous, hotel is clean. There's refrigerator, coffee maker. Fitness center, pool and spa are excellent. Location is perfect, close to great Japanese, Italian and Thai restaurants. (Just need microwave in the room.

Large room with ample closet space (and a complimentary umbrella inside, the first I've ever seen), spacious bathroom, and larger than average workdesk. Wireless and Wired internet access was available with LAN-cable provided (something I always forget to bring) and power outlets right on the desk. Floor to ceiling windows provided decent view of downtown […] area, which turned into balcony seating for a movie/television production on the street below us. The room connected to the two adjacent rooms, which I expect would be useful for large families or group visits. The only negative I would mention is the elevator system. The system seems to become overloaded with traffic, which resulted in five minute waits to go down to exercise room and five more to return to the room. There is no indication of where the elevator car is located as you wait, just a screen to select the destination floor and indicate which shaft will carry your elevator car. I would not plan to quickly retrieve something from your vehicle in the parking garage and return to your room. Read more

Everything was great. Afterall it is hyatt. But there weren't any slippers in the room, nor were there tooth brushes. Also i called dinning service to get a wine openner but they never picked up.... So i had to wait til the next day. However, these are very minor aspects. I was very happy with my stay there.

All though the hotel is quite nice and centered downtown for easy access to everything I thought the room decor was on the bland side. Empty wall space left the room seem uninviting. Poor lightling in restroom made it impossible to see details in the mirror without completely leaning over the counter to get close enough to the mirrors.The TV was too […] small for the room size. The hotel is doing renovations (not notated when reserving room) and some of the technology incorporated was cool. Valet parking was extremely expensive, it shouldn't be 1/3 of the cost of the room to park the car. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful! Read more

Great hotel staff - friendly and accommodating. Modern design in rooms and bathroom had a rain shower. Large balcony with view of shopping district was nice. Concierge staff gave good food recommendations and bell staff was extraordinarily helpful. Having Starbucks in the building was also a bonus.

Excellent Location. Front desk personels were very polite and helpful.The only concern I had was security. This hotel is connected to the Royal Center and have doors from all sides to this huge hotel lobby. Anyone can take the elevator up to any floors. Can the security guards keep track of all these busy traffic?

Overall our stay was wonderful. The only concern was with the elevators, which have a unique operating system which I think they could mention when you check in. It seems to be quite frustrating to many hotel guests, although it does not take much time to get used to it. Also, and I know this is very common in big city hotels, the parking rates are […] outrageous. We checked in at 10:00 at night and when we left the hotel in the morning at about 11:00 am, we were charged for 24 hours.
