Hotel was convenient to downtown restaurants. Staff was accomodatingGenuine Expedia guest review
"Convenient but expensive"
I was attending a business training and it was being held there, I'm not too familiar with LA so it was convenient but very expensive. The room was great, the bathroom was simply OK, not what you expect when you pay that much for a room, actually kind of dissapointed. Could hear all the noise from the traffic downtown as well as people s reaming and […] laughing in the adjacent rooms and hallway. The elevator wait was about 15min, my room was on the 10th floor, taking the stairs would have been faster than waiting. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Have small children and could not accommodate adjoining rooms. Checking staff lack customer service, not wiling to satisfy customer or assist.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Staff was very nice, but the rooms look old and not clean, sheets and pillows smell dirty.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was below standard. Apart from a cracked sink and a not-properly-functioning air conditioner, the room was OK. The staff were cheerful and cooperative, with the exception of a manager who would not even speak to us. But the hotel has very limited eating facilities and provides no information about local restaurants or other amenities. The […] lobby is unattractive/uninviting and lacks adequate seating. Overall, this is a disappointing attempt to be a quality city center hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Service needs some work"
Took about 30 minutes to check in. Heater in room did not work. Had to call guest services three times before anybody picked up. Then when I asked them for extra towels they said they would bring it, but I never received them.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Reservation was a room with 2 beds, got 1. Asked for extended check out and they said no. So, blah!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"This hotel is pathetic"
The Sheraton downtown LA is a pathetic and depressing facility to stay in. While the rooms are large and generally comfortable, the overall decor is depressing/dingy/threadbare, it has the feel of having been used without maintenance, and the service is horrible. My room was serviced only once in 3 days. The bathroom had one used towel in it and no […] wash cloth or soap. The restaurant might just as well be a fast food restaurant. The room had NO amenities -- no cups for coffee, no shampoo, no frig -- nothing that would ordinarily be found in a similar room of a competing hotel brand. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"How long is "We'll be right there" ?"
We were checking in well after the 3:00 check in time that is allowed. The maid was suprised that I was given the room key, because she was still finishing up and let us in. Tried calling the front desk and first they wouldn't answer and then they put me on hold. I called to ask for a remote for the TV. Their answer was a technician would be right up. […] I waited 30+ minutes, still no remote. I called and asked to move to a room with a working TV and they charged me without first telling me. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Had a terrible time waitng for elevators. Very slow. Breakfast was way over priced for mediocre food. Room was comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I had great sleeps but I hated the bathroom. The drawers were dirty with some hair.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is beutiful and is next to Macy Plaza (weee) and also Metro Station, that is perfect because you can move to anywher you want around Los Angeles and be on.Genuine Expedia guest review
"While in LA at the SHeraton Downtown you must stay"
Great staff and great rooms!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Just adequate for the price."
I stayed on the "Starwood preferred" floor and was struck by all the evidence of petty cost-cutting. No refrigerator, for example, and limited offerings in the bathroom. Could not even find the typical binder that explains the hotel's services. It was an adequate experience, but not deluxe.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good stay in Downtown LA"
Although parking is painfully expensive it is still very convenient. The hotel is part of. A big downtown complex with Macy s on one side and Sheraton on the other. Rooms are nice and clean. Only disadvantage was no queen sized beds only doubles. Staff was friendly and helpful. Do not go there with a car if you don't have to, traffic at certain hour […] is awful. Walk. The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of Down-town L.A. Pros: Very friendly staff Close to Staples Centre Nice restaurants Attached to a mall. Cons: Price point is high Valet parking cost Neighbourhood needs some TLC.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great room, good price"
Standard room, great service. Only complaint, the beds, very hard.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was nice, the beds were comfy, but the gym was closed, and nobody told us until we got there! They told us there was a gym a block away, but I had planned on working out right there, so that was super inconvenient. Valet parking was also more expensive than I had planned on, and the public parking next door didn't seem like an option. We went […] into the garage and couldn't figure out how to get back to the hotel, so opted for the pricey valet in the end. If you don't care about a gym, and don't mind paying for parking, it's a nice place. Did really like the bed. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The hotel location and ambiance is very good so when we checked in we felt very comfortable. Luckily we checked in early because by 2:00 the check in line was about 40 people deep and the hotel did not put any extra staff on to help. We went out on the town and came back at 1:00 am to retire but the heater did not work. We are were in a cold snap in […] LA so this was not good. When we checked out our $28 a day times 2 parking ticket did not work for us or our friends and we had to re-park, walk through the mall and take elevator (15 minute trip one way to go to front desk to get new one and walk all the way back only to have this one not work too. So another long walk back and forth to wait in line for another ticket. $56 to park for 26 hours and it took us 50 minutes to get out of the hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"L.A. Live Show"
Excellent overall, but especially wonderful thanks to the personal touch provided by General Manager Mr Gee. He helped us navigate the hotel during a crowded weekend (my wife was in a wheelchair), and he surprised us with complimentary drinks and a bottle of champagne for our anniversary stay. Well done!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Quality you can trust."
I choose this hotel because I know I can expect a certain level of quality and confort. It's also across the street from my office in Downtown LA.Genuine Expedia guest review
Hotel was average, went to go to sleep, pulled the covers down and found a bed bug crawling its way up to my pillow........ We only stayed for one night, wouldn't stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Location is very convenient, but self parking is quite pricy - $28 for a day. If staffs can be more friendly will be better.. Overall, we have great timeGenuine Expedia guest review

"Suite wasn't sweet"
My family wanted to go to the LA auto show so I booked a room at the Sheraton downtown. All other hotel suites I've stayed in have at least a hide a bed not this one. I really would not call it suite at all. I had to ask for a rollaway bed. The front desk person told me the suites are right next to the elevator and it might get noisy. I paid way too […] much for this room. The elevator is literally in my bedroom closet it sounded like thunder all night. I ask the front desk person to move us to a room with 2 beds, "sure my pleasure that will be another $58"! Wow a regular room is more than a suite! Also the thermostat doesn't work, the room is old and needs to be updated. The bathroom isn't even in the same room as the king bed. Also no Internet access. Anyway I won't be staying there again even if its free! I would not suggest anyone else to stay there. The only good thing is that Macy's is in the same building, and my wife loves Macy's Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"DTLA Sheraton great location and value!"
One of my favorite hotel beds - I always sleep well when I stay here. Great location with plenty of shopping and dining options and best of all - super easy drive to the conventin center. There is no mini bar or in-room snacks provided (room service is very fast, though)Genuine Expedia guest review
"WORST HOTEL EVER"
This was the worst hotel ever we been too. We booked two full size room paid top dollar and what we got was one room bathroom was not clean and exhaust fan was not working, not even A/C was working. We call helpdesk and they switched the room, with same problems. No A/C and no bathroom exhaust fan was not working. Also paint were chipped off from the […] wall, plus self parking fee was $28. "Solid choice for downtown LA"
Rooms are large and clean, staff is friendly, beds are comfortable. To me, this is what I look for in a hotel, and the Sheraton delivers. I recommend it to business or vacation travelers.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great downtown LA hotel"
This is a great hotel when staying downtown LA. Central location makes it handy to get to USC but far enough from the campus to get some rest. The hotel is due for a little upgrade. Everything is starting to look a little worn.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Fine business hotel in downtown LA"
Good location for business in downtown LA. Why anyone feels they must charge $12.95/day for in-room wireless access these days is beyond me but that's the case here. My Sprint hotspot didn't work very well in this location either so be aware of that. The Sprint thing is, of course, not the hotel's fault but it was a bit inconvenient.Genuine Expedia guest review
My stay was very brief, but in the time i was there i encountered very friendly and helpful staff and a clean comfy roomGenuine Expedia guest review
very good location; large hotel but still in good shapeGenuine Expedia guest review
Great hotel in a pretty good area of the city. Very clean and staff was extremely nice. Location is decent and fairly quiet on the weekends.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Will stay again"
I was very satisfied with my stay. The lobby has a bar, gift shop with a Starbucks, and office center which were very convenient. Our room was slightly outdated, yet very clean. Comfortable bed. I have stayed in this area many times while visiting friends and will return to this hotel. Great value for the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel for business."
I have stayed at this hotel several times when in town for business. The room was clean, comfortable and modern. There was a large desk and office chair that worked well. The hotel is in a good location for business downtown. I will continue to stay at this hotel in the future.Genuine Expedia guest review
I only stayed there one night but it was exceptional. The bar downstairs was great with plenty of tv's. The room was clean and the most comfortable bed! Only downer was that the garage was super far. You have to walk through the mall and then take an elevator. If you valet, this shouldn't be a problem.Genuine Expedia guest review
"I'm a monkeys uncle"
The hotel is tired, and, apparently, so is the staff. I reserved a king bed, the clerk confirmed I had a king bed, and then promptly send me to a room two queens. Not the end of the world but . . . and, the batteries in the remote control were dead. Things are run down and tired. If that's a four star hotel, I'm a monkeys uncle. MDRGenuine Expedia guest review
A/C was a bit weak. Great location. Metro is very convenient.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Freestyle Session Event"
We were attending an event Freestyle Session at Club Nokia and we all thought the hotel wasn't that bad. The bed was comfy and the hotel was clean. Service wasn't too good when we got there and our room wasn't ready but they ended up giving us parking for free so that made up for it. The location was perfect for the event we were able to walk to Nokia. […] We would definitely stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

The temperature in LA was 93 deg F. The hotel air conditioning in the rooms were unable to keep up. Several other guests shared the same problem.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Beware of the 32$ per night if you decide to use their valet parking! So we decided to drive around the block and use the overnight parking lots. Staff was pretty friendly, but upon walking into our room, it was really warm! Lets just say their a/c system is pretty outdated; there is no thermometer, only an "ON/OFF" switch for A/C and a switch to maneuver […] warm to cool temperature. We called the front desk about this issue, and they gave us a fan. But, the hotel location overall was pretty cool, it was close enough to walk around downtown and enjoy what's around.
