I have one good thing to say about this hotel. The bed was very comfortable. The problem was the noise. Folks walking above, in the hallway and before 8 in the morning. The person upstairs sounded like he had on army boots and housekeeping didn't bother to lower their voices. I checked in at 9PM and didn't get to sleep until midnight. The noise began at 3:30AM and continued until we finally got up at 7:47AM. Why get a hotel unless you want to shower and sleep. No, I wouldn't recommend it to someone who likes sleeping.

The room was standard holiday inn but the hotel was very spread out and I was in one of the hinterland buildings. Breakfast was crazy expensive. $20 for oatmeal, english muffin and coffee. No room service the weekend I was there and no one TOLD me there would be no room service. Got sick one day and put Do Not Disturb sign on door. It was opened at least FIVE times by cleaning staff.

The landscape near the pool and surrounding area was really nice. The room was great. Two observations: Getting into the "assessible room" I was given maynot be easy for persons with limited hand function; I may have had a better experince with the staff person I interacted with. Minor things. I definitely recommend staying there.

Upon arrival I was greeted by Patricia who never once looked me in the eye. She then told me my credit card was declined (which was not possible), She was completely unwelcoming, unfriendly and frankly I don't know why anyone would hire her in a customer service position. I asked to speak with someone else and was accepted into a room within minutes. The quality of the hotel was so so and there weren't even any soaps, shampoos OR conditioners in the room! I should have walked out the minute I faced Patricia's sour face. Because of Patricia's lack of hospitability, I will no longer stay at this hotel.

Very comfortable room, and good looking hotel. My room faced the highway, so there was a bit of noise there. Everything else was wonderful. Nice to have a good resturant on site and loved the court yard. Can tell that the hotel was built some time ago, but they do a great job making it look and feel very nice. I will definitely stay here again!

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, the TV was in a very odd place, up high in a wall shelf to the right of the bed. It was not comfortable to watch TV in bed, and there is no other seating area in room other than the desk. I was in town for the San Jose Marathon and booked the hotel for the pool and hot tub to relax after the run. The pool was freezing and dirty, and the spa was dirty with cloudy water. A big disappointment. The restaurant had a good breakfast with friendly service. It was only a 10 minute drive from downtown and there were several places to eat nearby. Not a bad experience, but I would probably not stay here again.

This complex is HUGE and it is easy to get lost on your way to the lobby through the twists and turns of the courtyards. The location is very convenient (200 feet from the entrance) but it is too close to the freeway for my sleeping tastes. If you leave the sliding door open to get some air, the traffic keeps you awake. The only complaint I have is with the business center. The internet was painfully slow and every 20 minutes the computer logs you off. Nothing is saved and nothing can be recovered. This was not fun, especially when you are trying to research the area because you may be moving there...

This was an unexpected stay at a hotel so i didnt have any soap or shampoo with me and i just assumed they'd have so available in the room. I asked front desk to send some up...it took them a while so i decided to go there myself, but it turns out housekeeping has to give it to you. kinda bummed and irritated already. The room was kinda musky...had a weird smell. I had the room with a king bed and the tv was placed kinda weird. It was on the side in the wall so ur head was turned to the wall...just weird.

indeed, traveler, this little place exceeds many fancy named hotels. It is intensely friendly-the staff--and I mean ALL the staff is the nicest group of people I have encountered in years and years of travel. They raced around to meet my needs, fussed over my take out breakfast, made sure that there was an extra shuttle to take the latecomers. The place is great, too--a huge lovely garden, a great pool, internet. But it is the kindness of the staff that is so great. It is also close to the airport, of course.

Although the place is a bit older and begining to show signs of age. Management has done a great job keeping the place together and keep it faily clean. Bathrooms are clean and well taken care of, Rooms are tidy and clean. However I did notice small stains in the carpet and if carpets where replaced the place would get alot more years out of it. Staff was friendly and for the cost you couldn't beat it.

The service, however, did not meet my expectations. Besides the doorman, no one was hospitable. The front desk clerk completely ignored me while he was on the phone, then after the first phone call ended, he proceeded to then make another call without even acknowledging my presence. I was in a huge hurry to check in and get going...this was a huge delay. Other than that, the room was great.

Hard to beat the location. They have a free shuttle that will pick you up at least until midnight, which is good, because my flight came in at 11pm. I discovered that most of the other hotels along this strip won't pick you up after 11pm. My first room was next to the highway, so noisy (but at least you can open the windows if you want). I asked for a different room and they happily obliged. The bed was very comfortable, good set of a variety of pillows. Plenty of towels, coffee maker in the room, and internet service free. Across the street, about a block away is a small mall of lunch restaurants and Starbucks. Plenty good for my business meetings, and saved me money.
