My girlfriend and I stayed at the hotel for two nights on a little getaway. The front desk could not find my reservation made through the Hotels.com site at first but once they did, we were good to go. Once we got to our room, we noticed there was a regular beeping coming from the smoke detector. It was Not Sheraton quality! The rooms was dated and needs major renovation! The door panel peeled. Paint chip was loose on the ceiling above bed. Bed sheet was torn at the corner. Hole in the wall. The hotel was very nice, but room serivce trays and items remained in the hallway for over 24 hours, which was an eyesore, especially since we paid a premium to stay on the "Club" floor. The only HUGE problem that I had with this hotel, which would even make me not stay again there solely for this, is that they charge for the wireless internet. Very nice rooms, conveniently located near downtown without paying the high downtown on the lake hotel prices. 5" to University Mall, 10" drive to downtown Burlington's Church St. Marketplace. Many restaurants nearby. It's be very near UVM & Hospital. Our 3rd stay; we'll be back.

The only "disappointment" was that we found a dirty tissue in the bathroom with what appeared to be a blood stain on it. It wasn't as if the entire room was dirty, but this was certainly an unpleasant thing to have to dispose of ourselves. Everything else was nice.

I had the worst stay. Our room was 85 degrees the entire stay even after having it maintenanced. Apparently we were on top of the boiler room and there was nothing they could do about it. The room smelled and everything was dusty. Not worth my money at all.
