It was a good stay, but there were a couple of small maintenance issues. We only stayed one night so we reported these shortcomings so they could be repaired before the next guests came in. It was a nice hotel and we were overall happy with our stay. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable, so we were satisfied.

The hotel was quick to find me a crib for my baby. There were some issues with the tub and shower. I called and they immediately took care of it. Usually we don't take the time to review hotels....we travel quite a bit and are very busy. A Holiday Inn is usually quite reliable. This one is in need of some maintenance. Wood veneer on doors are cracked with missing pieces. Tile and countertops in the bathroom have considerable cracks/gaps that should be repaired. The elevator was dirty and crowded […] so we took the stairs. The stairwell is filthy and the utility area that you end up in is also not well kept. Outside the large commercial lint outlets/louvers from the laundry area are falling off the wall with clumps of lint all over the sidewalk. We were mistakenly charged an "incidental fee" of $20/day and it took several hours to have this rectified after we got home. This Holiday Inn was very close to where we needed to be, so that was beneficial. We didn't have time to use the pool and it looked just fine. Bed and room was comfortable. Overall, the rate was satisfactory, but the facility maintenance was below standard. Read more

This was a nice hotel overall. Clean rooms and overall good service from the staff. The one thing that I was a little dissaponted in though is: They charged extra for breakfast and they charged extra for coffee that I drank in the room.

The beds were very comfortable but when we checked in, somewhere between Hotels.com and Holicay they couldn't figure out double bed/single bed....and the room itself could have been much cleaner....smoking rooms should be left off of the smoking floor...the hallway smelled awful. Restaurant food/service was excellent.

This is a very nice hotel, the guy at the Front Desk didn't seem to friendly. The comfort of the rooms was very good, quiet, nice bed and bedding. Great pillows, choice of firm or soft pillows. Tv played good, but wished it was a flat screen, great wifi reception didn't have to pay extra for it. I couldn't take a bath because the drain stopper didn't […] work had to take a shower, this is minor I know. The doors wouldn't shut quietly you had to slam them to get them shut, I also heard others in rooms next to me had to slam there doors, but most hotels are like this, but this one was exceptionally lout. I was woken in the middle of the night with door slamming. No fresh coffee in the lobby although there was a coffee maker in the room, I don't care for the pre-packaged coffee so I had to go about 2 miles to the closest McDonald's and get coffee and breakfast since this Holiday Inn didn't have free breakfast. They had a restaurant and room service that served breakfast but I am not going to pay 4 X the amount over McDonald's price. But this was hotel was def worth the $$. Expedia rates this a 3 star hotel, but I have stayed in 3 star hotels and this doesn't match up to the 3 star hotels that I stayed in the past. I would say this would be a 2.5 star, reason being not so nice staff, slamming of the doors, and no coffee offered for its guest in the lobby. Read more

We were in town to attend the Storytelling Festival and arrived before noon on a Friday, with our dog. The room wasn't ready yet but the hotel manager and front desk staff went out of their way to ensure our puppy was safely housed and our luggage was secured. Outstanding customer service!
