The hotel was nice but we had three people so we asked for double beds ahead of time. When we got there the hotel did not have any rooms for us with doubles. They ended up giving us a king room but our third person had to sleep on a very uncomfortable rollaway bed. Not the best customer service.

I stayed at the Sheraton Pentagon City for a conference that was also held at the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the luxury of the hotel's interior and the excellence of the hotel staff. During my stay I interacted the bell hop, front desk staff, banquet servers, room service servers, gift shop attendant and even maintenance staff (just in passing--no […] problem with my room). Every single staff member was highly professional, smiled, spoke to me and handled their job beautifully. I do not anticipate another trip to Pentagon City, but I would definitely stay in this hotel again if I were back in the area. My low marks for location are based on the fact that there is not much in the immediate vicinity of the hotel room, except the Pentagon. You will have to travel for food or to see the sites. I gave it a 4 for convenience of location because I drove in. Had I flown in, this hotel would have been extremely convenient to Reagan National. Read more

The hotel is attractive and conviently located (only about 5 minutes from DC).The elevators are a long wait as there are only a few to accommodate 16 floors. Our room was very near the elevators and the noise was awful. All night long we were woken up by large groups of loud people waiting for elevators. The room looked Nice enough and was clean but […] the beds (we had two doubles) were awful! None of us were able to sleep a wink between the sunken lopsided beds and the ruckus in the halls.The pool is on the 16th floor. This was very disappointing because do to crowds and slow elevators we didn't even want to go up there. It took 30 mins to get to our room on 5th floor so we decided to skip the pool even though we had been looking forward to it. The AC units will only turn down to 65 and there is no exhaust fan in bathroom. Parking garage was creepy and cost $24 a night. Plus it was awful having to carry in all our things from the garage. Tried calling the desk twice, no one answers the phones. Ended up having to go down there to ask for extra towels and such. All in all I'd give the hotel 3 stars. It was nice but not what you'd expect from a high end hotel. Read more

Nice lobby with friendly staff. Rooms are very run down. Electrical sockets falling out as well as bathroom light. Pool is very small and had hair floating through it. Not many stores or restaurants around.

The room was perfectly fine- quiet, large, comfy bed, and clean bathroom but both the pillow case and comforter has old stains on them (not dirty but stained from past use). Room service was prompt (and food was very tasty) but audible sigh heard when I didn't add additional gratuity on top of the 18% automatically added). I wasn't able to connect to […] the internet because "I had no credit card on file" (even though I gave it when I checked in) and after calling the front desk repeatedly, ended up having to go down in person to clear it up as no one answered. Ordered a taxi the night before as we had a very important meeting to get to only to be told- after waiting around for over 10 minutes- that someone else might have taken it as "it's first come first served". Staff were very blase about this and made no effort to help other than to suggest we take a shuttle to the Metro station so we could go into DC that way. Sheraton can do better! Read more

paid for a king w city view and got a double bed in what seemed like the basement .. went to front desk they gave me 2 free drinks and 2 breakfast coupons said it was only thing they could do . was gonna leave and make them refund me but it was too late at night . will never stay here again

Was our first trip to Washington D.C. and the hotel exceeded our expectations. Great shuttle to the mall to get on the metro; kids (age 9 and 11) loved the shuttle and the metro! Pool was a little cold, but the kids didn't care. For the cost we saved not being downtown, well worth it. We parked our car and never used it (small fee for parking).

The hotel was a excellent value I would definitly recomment there breakfast bar with the room purchase it is not typical there were 15 - 20 items with a nice place setting and wait staff, we were able to get it free with room purchase package again outstanding. I would definilty stay here again there were minor concerens no deal breakers shuttle service […] was quick my only concern with 6 people the difficulty in the mornings getting on would like to see a bigger shuttle they were accomidating in having 2-3 shuttles at once but we still had to stand not long mind you but a little unsafe, the only other negative bring your own towels thy ran out. I do commend them on the cleanliness of there hotel ,location and value minus the towels the hotel was very accomidating. Read more

The experience stated with the front desk at check-in.. Hector went above and beyond to place my husband and I in a beautiful room overlooking the city for our Anniversary. That first evening the restuarant presented us with a very nice meal; waiter "DJ" was perfect as to recommendations of our wine, entree, and service. Beautiful hotel - SUPER nice staff at front desk - lovely and clean room. Only complaint was that our hotel didn't want to flush in the morning before we left, no biggie though. The bed was very comfortable and we just can't complain about a thing!

We ended up at the Sheraton at the last minute after having a problem with another hotel the night before. It was a wonderful experience...we had our small dog with us. The staff was super nice and the lobby was bright and inviting...most importantly the room was very clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I slept in.

Room was very clean. Big enough for 2 people and a little one. Could've used a fridge though. View of cemetery Air Force memorial Jefferson Lincoln and Washington Shuttle to and from metro was convenient. Rooftop heated pool was great. Potomac restaurant wasn't very good. This is a good option for a reasonably priced hotel near DC. Their shuttle bus to the Pentagon City Metro station runs every half hour, then it's a quick 10-minute ride into the District. Negatives: The hotel staff was not prepared to handle a large convention group over the weekend. Unfortunately service was quite slow (reataurant and check in) or very late (room service). This is a decent hotel in a good location and was great for the price. The shuttle to the metro was exactly on time and useful, particularly later at night. A 10 minute walk gets you to the pentagon city mall, all the pentagon row restaurants and about 15 minutes of walking will get you to the metro through the mall. The neighborhood looks a little […] rough because of construction at the old Pentagon annex but its very safe- I have lived very close to the hotel and will vouch for this. It is an easy walk to the Air Force memorial and the 911 memorial at the Pentagon but almost anything else you want to see you will have to take the metro.
