Chose this hotel because of the view of river & downtown. Room was adequate but definitely not 4-star quality. Dated carpeting & bathroom tile. (marginal 3-star quality at best). Better rooms can be had in the Pittsburgh area for much less than the exorbitant nightly rate paid. Paying an additional charge for parking was an obscenity. When I asked the desk clerk if the parking charges could be waived or validated, she responded that employees had to pay for parking too! A nice location for visitors to Pittsburgh but a pricey and overated hotel that I can't recommend.

The hotel itself was pretty average for the rates. The location was close to the T and had several surrounding restaurants within walking distance, though they weren't the highest quality food. The service was great and the hotel shuttle got us where we needed to go quickly. Very easy to get downtown either on the T or the shuttle or a cab.

Hotel service was great and the location is great. The room was clean but you could see that it is older. Molding and caulking was starting to come off and rot. Having to pay for parking with the high hotel rates was hard to take. They should have some help with the parking fee.

A great place to stay for a night away from the kids and catch a ball game. The clipper ride over is nice and the hotel is extremely quiet. It was nice to sleep all night and sleep in. I would recommend it for any parents who want to get away from the kids for a night. A few bars are in walking distance, so you can go out and grab a cocktail with your special someone and walk back to the room. The only thing I would change is the parking situation, I don't like garages nor should you have to pay to park at a hotel. It should be comp-ed.

I thought the parking rates were ridiculous. If you were never leaving the hotel by car maybe it would have been okay, but to be making trips in and out and then parking overnight it was extremely pricey. I travel to Pittsburgh at least 12 times a year and I will not stay here again for the sole reason of the parking

Staff was very pleasant and helpful, except for one bartender. King bed was SUPER comfortable and the view of downtown is lovely. Great area, I would definitely recommend a trip up the incline and a walk around Carson street down by Primanti Bros. Excellent experience for a first-time Pittsburgh visit. Only bad thing about the hotel-- the toilet flushing is crazy loud.

My only minor complaint was that I could hear a little too much what was going on in the other room. And my neighbors weren't even loud. It wasn't obnoxious but a little surprising for the standard of the hotel. The room was great otherwise. The area is very touristy and I would definitely recommend to make the walk downtown for better restaurant options.

The rooms were clean and well-kept. My only complaint is breakfast the next morning. The buffet was awful--the only thing that seemed edible to me was the cereal and a blueberry muffin. I have stayed at the Sheraton Station Square before and have had room service and the food has been great. I just do not suggest that anyone pay $17 for the breakfast buffet. The accomodations were wonderful, otherwise.
