Excellent hotel. The breakfast buffet was just Fannnnnnntastic. Pool area was great. The only problem, was the quality if the Internet. Too slow. I would highly recommend this superb place.

The stay was typical of a Sheraton facility. Clean, quality service, good amenities, and close to infrastructure facilities. I could have used a bit more of a personal touch, explaination of amenities, and schedule of meal times. Nice hotel but had to pay extra to use internet in my room even though I had a Club room. Who cares about free internet in theClub Room, I want it in my room. I'm not going to use Skype in the Club Room. Even 2-3 star hotels in Vietnam have free internet in the room.

This hotel was decent, it had a great lobby and restaurants and had all the features of a normal hotel, but definitely not what I would expect from a 5 start hotel. First of all, the front desk staff couldn't answer any of my questions about the hotel like what water sports were offered on their private beach. They also couldn't help with anything I […] asked about the surrounding area and sent me to track down the concierge. The hotel room was very clean and the bathroom was amazing with a deep tub, separate shower, toilet and bidet. But the room it's self was tiny, just a little bit bigger than the bathroom, with barely enough room to walk around the two twin beds that had to be pushed together because there wasn't even room to have a walking space between them. The room was very bland also, white walls, white bedspread, no art, and no color except for two green chairs and an orange headboard. This was very strange since everything else in the hotel was richly decorated. The beach-side restaurant was closed, which was not mentioned when I made the reservation which I thought was disappointing since I had considered it a highlight of the hotel. The front desk told me the cafe at the pool closed at 8pm, so we tried to order something at 7:05pm and were told that they didn't accept orders after 7pm and wouldn't serve us anything. Since all the other restaurants in the hotel have a dress code, we had to go up and shower and change before we could eat anywhere. Read more

There are a few local restaurants that you can get a really cheap meal at, the hotel is a bit expensive. For a few extra $'s we were able to access the "Lounge" on the 7th? floor where they offered juices, water, an assortment of sandwiches, cheese, and fruit. The extra dollars also allowed us to attend happy hour at Cloud Nine where we had a couple of beverages that we did not have to pay for. There were also appetizers available. The Extra $'s also gave us internet access...however unbeknownst to us I believe all guests get one free hour of internet access at the "internet cafe" located across from Cloud Nine. Personally I think every hotel should provide "free" internet access, wireless or otherwise to ALL paying guests! Anyway, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton and would stay again...if and when the UAE gets rid of the requirement for a very expensive visa for Canadian residents!! Very good holiday. Shame about the new high rise building blocking the sea view but a very comfortable hotel with exceedingly helpful staff. There is a really good Falafel takeaway within about 4 minutes walk where we got sandwiches for a tenth of the cost for breakfast in the hotel! Metered taxis available to take you anywhere. Great location.

Spent 10 days in this hotel in a city view room which was very comfortable with a large bathroom. The hotel which is one of the original 5 star hotels in Abu Dhabi has a private beach and several restaurants, There is a new tower block in the process of construction adjacent to the beach but this did not detract from the enjoyment of our holiday.

The whole experience at the Sheraton Abu Dhabi was one of superb service and a fully relaxing holiday which was much needed. Nothing was ever too much trouble for any of the staff within the hotel from the guys who cleaned our room twice a day to the various department managers we had interactions with. A special mention has to go to Michelle at the […] Spanish place Bravo, she was absolutely brilliant with everything and is an immense asset to Bravo's and the resort as a whole. The only downside, but I have to stress not the fault of the hotel, was the extensive building work going on around it, unfortunately Abu Dhabi seems to be having a severe case of Dubai syndrome, ie build as much as possible in the shortest time possible, we had a saying while we were there - "It'll be nice when it's all finished", sadly though, that could take another 30 years. I have been to this hotel on a number of occasions with my family, I travelled alone this time. I was made very welcome, the staff were fantastic. When I arrived at the hotel, my room had been upgraded, it was a fabulous room. The breakfast was probably the best I have had anywhere in the world, plenty of choice for all. We had a very pleasant stay here. We arrived early in the morning from London and found all the staff extremely friendly and welcoming. We were given a room straight away which was a real bonus after a night flight. The room was spotlessly clean and nicely appointed with quality finishing and products used throughout. The pool and other amenities were […] all well kept and a welcome relief from the heat outside. The breakfast was included in the price of our room and in this instance was good value. There was a great selection of both hot and cold foods and the fact that breakfast was served from 6.00am meant we didn't have to miss out on this meal the day we flew out. Due to the heat at this time of year we found we had to take a taxi where ever we wanted to go but this wasn't really an issue as they were readily found and fairly cheap. The only down side for us during our stay was the service from the concierge as we found he wasn't that forthcoming with information. It was a simple quick answer or a brochure handed to you and little discussion or enthusiasm for what may be on offer. Having said that we had a very pleasant stay and found the hotel to be good value for money overall. Read more

We had two nights in Abu Dhabi on our way home from Europe. The Sheraton was a great hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the grounds and amenities fabulous. Not a lot to see or do in the immediate surrounding area, but we really enjoyed a one hour sight seeing boat trip from the hotel.

There is a lot of building work going on around the hotel but this is all over Abu Dhabi and i can honestly say it did not impact on our stay at all. We didn't hear any noise from the building site. We were offered an upgrade to the club lounge for about 60 pounds a day for which you get buffett breakfast, happy hour drinks (presume they meant half price) and snacks at certain times. The pool area was nice we did not use the gym or salons. The on site english pub was ok, usually full of british people, although it was a bit strange on Wednesday night (ladies night) as there appeared to be lone women sitting at the bar smoking and drinking free wine. When we visited the nightclub there were only 6 of us in the whole place.
