What a disappointment. We have stayed at Sheraton hotels before and have been pleased. This hotel is way past it's prime. The staff was nice but the facilities need a serious upgrade. The air conditioning barely worked in the room. Housekeeping had to bring a fan up to our room. The whole facility is run down. The breakfast buffet left much to be desired […] and was hardly worth the hefty price. The pool is only open until 6pm. Read more

Sheraton Princess is and has been one of my favorites for a long time.. Sheraton is always reinvesting and remodeling to keep this grand ole hotel up to date and maintained... only problrm we had was our roon had the two twin beds instead of the usual king ... but would dtill recommend the property

Hotel was older but clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Beach towels and beach chairs available for checkout made it very easy for us to head to any beach on the island and enjoy our day. Pool area is big with plenty of room. Live music at night pool side was beautiful and relaxing...something for everybody from sun up to sun down.

I stay ther once before and really likd it then so I wanted to take my husband back there. We had a great time. One thing that was a litte disappointing wa the cost of the buffet. We both thought it was overpriced.

Hotel location is awesome! Staff is friendly. Hotel is rundown. Pricey breakfast & dinner buffet. Have to go offsite for smaller & cheaper meals. Which you're surrounded by many options. Clean, comfortable and close to everything. You get a real feel of Polynesia throughout the entire property. We were rewarded with a fruit basket by the general manager when we let the staff know the sliding door on the lanai needed a bit of grease. The staff genuinely seek to make the visit comfortable. It is OK if you want to use the computer at the desk in the room but if you like to sit in bed with the laptop you need to extend the cord (the cord is now at bed height) which means you have to step over it if you wanted to move around the room. Staff did not have my room ready upon check in at 3pm and just gave me extra drink tickets, but weren't sincere at all for the delay. Room service food was horrible for $25 (Thai noodles) and microwaved.

This is the second time staying at hotel. The first time just was with my wife and I last year. This recent trip I brought my entire family (9 total) and it it worked out for everyone. Pool area was nice and there was a performance every night. Best thing was it was central to the "Waikiki strip" and across the street from the beach.

It was a nice place to stay. Close to the beach and shopping. The only complaint is finding the parking garage. It had a very small sign easily missed and the driveway looked more like an alley. Once that was figured out there was no problems. Make sure to let the front desk know you are parked there to have your parking validated.

There was an additional $18 plus tax/ night charge once we checked in that we were not told about. We were told it was a "resort" fee. I heard from other people that this was typical of sheratons. This made it more expensive than other hotels. This particular hotel was old and seemed worn out. We won't stay here again.

It was very nice. It was very safe and confortable. I like their service such as welcome drink tickets and bottles of water in room because I feel welcome. I come back with thirsty and being tired. A chilled drink maks me very happy!

Our room was a total fiasco. Despite our reservation for an ocean view room, we got stuck in the armpit of the hotel. However, the staff were outstanding - very friendly and helpful - and the location is great.

Very nice hotel located in the heart of Waikiki. Close to everything and own parking house. We got upgraded our room without asking for it, and the new room had view toward the ocean, moutain and other hotels. Clean room and big enough for two people. The pool was small and I did not try it because I prefer the beach instead. Sheraton offer free water […] botles and fruit on the beach twice a day. This is included in the "resort fee" of $18 a day per room. The fitness room was good as well, not big but moslty what you need for working out during the vacation. The hotel is located close to the beach and you are able to bring your own chairs. The beaches on Oahu are official, so the hotels are not able to have their own chairs on the beach. But it is possible to rent sun bed from other on the beach. I will absolutely recommend this hotel, and if I go another time, I'll book this one again. Read more

Having never been to Hawaii before me and my wife were not sure what to expect whatsoever. Well, the people at the sheraton princess made us feel at home and were extremely helpful in assisting us along our way. They have exceptional customer service, many convenient services (computer center, lots of eating areas in the hotel, some free fun day activities […] as well), and work to please the customer. They kept our room immaculate and the maids were very nice and polite and never came to our door at 5am or 10pm. Overall a great experience and I'd HIGHLY reccomend to anyone looking to stay right at waikiki. Also! The location is very cool, the sounds of the streets and people are fascinating and really fun as well as the short 500ft walk to the beach makes the location great! Read more

This hotel is right in the center of everything. So much to do just a few steps from the hotel. Hotel is clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. Most rooms have a wonderful view of Waikiki and/ or the mountains.

The only place that has a mirror is the bathroom. There is a mirror in the entry hall on the closet so could do a full check of overall appearance. The lack of a vanity mirror on a table means the only place a woman could do her makeup and hair is the bathroom. It would be convenient to have a coffee shop so patrons can have early coffee. Not everyone likes buffet style service. Lunch is served beginning at 11 at the Splash Bar by the pool. This hotel is located in the central location... steps from the beach and international market. It is actually in a very fun location. There's live musics every night from 6:30 to 8:30 for the dinning guests, however, if you hang out by the pool chairs, you can still enjoy it... really pleasing... an $18 dollar resort fee per guest per night is charged... […] it is covered free self parking (you will need to park your car in the lot behind the hotel on Kaiulani street, take you parking ticket that you get when entering the garage, then bring it to the lobby to get your free parking pass), beach towel, beach chair (you will need to get the towels and chairs from the pool attendants then bring to the beach yourself). One of the worst laid out hotels i've ever stayed in, went down to the buffet for breakfest and dinner and had to dodge people walking by because half the food is on one side of the walkway and rest of the food on the other side, the pool was a major walkway to the main street , so as your getting in or out of the pool you have to dodge tons of people […] walking by to go shopping. the hotel it's self is ok ,nothing special about it, it is in my opinion way over priced for the breakfeast buffet $25 for a menu that has not changed in 5 years , the same thing everyday and 95% was cold, it's pretty sad when we had free breakfest and after the secound day we paid for breakfest for the next 5 days. i will probaly never stay at a sheraton hotel again, going to kauai in jan., cancun in april and will not even consider a sheraton at all. if it's the truth you want than here it is. The hotel is very old on the wing that we stayed, they gave us a room that is sub-standard, the furnitures and the shower and tube are in their 60's style, some were worned and crack on the sink. we asked for upgrate, the desk clerk told us there will be a cost, after conferred with her manager, the manager told us that the hotel is fully book, and […] won't have a room until our last day, but the so called " upgrated " room is still old and was the same condition as the one before, we felt that the manager had other room on the other newly built wing but not offer to us because we don't want to pay for an upgrate fee, she just brushed us off by giving us a room with a balcony, we felt we were discriminated because we were from the Bay Area, and I am in my 60's and probably with limited income spending, unlike those Japanese tourist with big monies and there were alot of them at the hotel. there were hidden fees. We booked & paid for our hotel stay 5 months ahead, found out when we go checked in we had fees to pay. We had $90 plus dollars in resort fees for "free parking", complimentary non alcohol beverages, 2 bottles of water daily for our stay, free beach towels for a pool that closed nightly at 6:30 and a resort daily fee plus tax. […] Wow!! This hotel caters to large groups whether wedding groups or travel groups we weren't sure. Breakfast was very good. They even had an omelet bar. It is very close to the beach and the action of Waikiki. If you're looking for a romantic setting this is not it but, for a few days of fun in Honolulu it is fine. The Sheraton PK must be on it's last legs! It is in desperate need of a remodel! (Very outdated decor, peeling wallpaper, grubby balconies, leaky faucets, no Wi-fi in rooms...) We weren't expecting luxurious accommodations, but we did expect a well-maintained hotel, especially from a Sheraton. We are a family of four, with two college-aged children, […] so I had booked two high-floor ocean view rooms (1 with a king bed, the other with 2 dbls). When we arrived, we were put in adjoining rooms, but each had a single king, and at best, a partial ocean view. They didn't have another room that evening, so they brought in a cot, and transferred us the next day. The rooms we were transferred to were in a little worse shape than the original rooms, and the view was only slightly better (I would still consider it just a partial view. We were disappointed because we had paid extra for something we feel we didn't get.) We also felt the quality of customer service was inconsistent. The staff was either very friendly and helpful, or treated us as if we were intruding. The location was great, though. Waikiki Beach is across the street, and everything in Waikiki is within walking distance. Read more

Location of hotel is fabulous for not being right on the beach.... but across the street. Lobby, pool area, and general public areas are attractive. We enjoyed the live entertainment each evening. The employees were very friendly. Rooms are a bit small but bathrooms are REALLY small. Overall, really enjoyed our stay.
