We did not spend much time in the hotel - however, the neighborhood was great. It is in a plaza that has restaurants, bars, a comedy club and many storefronts that could be opening with new offerings.

We had a great stay, it was good to be close to the conference so that we didn't have to drive. The room seemed a little dirty and we found a dirty sock under the bed by the corner of the bed.

Our shower was clogged. The coffee machine was dirty. If you book through hotels.com you do NOT get complimentary WiFi. I just didn't like it. Oh, and my sheets had to be changed once I arrived, they were NOT clean.

Hotel was great. It was easy to find, clean, updated. Only thing we didn't like - is that we had about a 3 minute walk to the hotel with the pool. Elevator was very small. Wi-Fi is not free. No microwave or refrigerators in the room. Parking lot was full can park underground but need ticket validated each time to avoid charges. Rooms were clean & staff very friendly and helpful

The hotel was a quality place in its day but is curretly old and run down. The air conditioner in the room did not expel condensate so the water built up and made the room humid and sticky. We did not complain and they most likely would have let us change rooms if we wanted to go to the trouble. The rooms contained dirty comforters, and towels with holes. There was no mini refrigerator or microwave. The shower provided hot water in spurts. We could hear everything that was happening above us and in the hall.

My daughter and I were in St Louis for a follow up doctors appt at the Childrens Hospital. I thought the hotel was great, comfortable, very clean and friendly staff. I was a little disappointed because on the website it showed a pool and there is no pool at this hotel. Costumer beware, there are two Sheraton hotels at this location. One old though renovated and another relatively new. We wanted the hotel to have an indoor pool and based on the pictures presented on hotels.com website we made the reservation. When we checked in, they said we can use the pool in the "other" hotel. Booked a king bed and got two doubles, but just called the desk and they fixed that. But showed indoor pool on the website but its actually at the other hotel across the complex. But the drinks were good in the bar.

When we got to our room, they had put us in a double instead of the club king that we reserved. At the desk, they told us they could not put us in a club king, just a regular king and they gave us no discount for the trouble. Once we got to the king room, it was less than sub-par. It was so dusty. There was wads of hair and dust rolling across the floor. […] There was a blood stain on our comforter. The corners of the room had large cobwebs. The wall by the door had several smashed bugs on it. The lampshades were smashed up. The hotel itself was very outdated. It is deceiving; the lobby is very updated, trendy, nice. However, the hallways, elevators, vending areas, and rooms are extremely dated, dusty, and grimy. One night, around midnight, we called the front desk because we woke up to a very heavy smell of cigarettes. The hotel is all nonsmoking. The lady who answered was rude. She sounded as though we were bothering/interrupting her. We told her what we smelled. She said she would have security come down and check it out. We never saw/heard anyone and we never received a call stating the outcome. We will not be staying at a Sheraton again! Read more

Overall, it was a decent place to stay for the money. It is however a very old hotel that has been partially renovated. The hallways and doors were very dirty and the bathtub had hair in it. We would have requested another room but it was late when we saw the bathroom issues, so we just cleaned it up ourselves.

The toilet wouldn't stop running and the bathroom door wouldn't latch to quiet the toilet. We had to put the air conditioner on 62 for it to get cool, then it would switch over to heat, there was no auto overide on the thermostat to fix that. There was no fridge and huge gaps around both the main hall door and the rear door to the pool and lake. There […] was a guy passed out on a park bench in the morning outside our door and non of the pool guys said anything to him and even though I called the front desk about him because my kids wanted to play out there, they never sent anyone, after 2.5 hours he stumbled off. The outdoor was way too cold for anyone to swim in (in august) and they said we could use the indoor pool in the next door hotel which is a half mile away, but when we got there, no one's card worked to get in and an employee had to let waiting guests in, then to find the pool was so dirty people had written on the sides above the water with their finger nails..."this is gross". it was definitely not a good experience and we won't be back. I didn't even mention how dated and unkept the hotel and room was...peeled/dried grout, ripped wall paper, dirt in the grout lines of the bathroom tile. Read more

The service was horrible on check in. This hotel is old and smells bad throughout. The room was dirty (stains on the bed covers) and there were cigarette butts on the balcony! I could not wait to check out of this hotel.

Hotel booked from your site didn't have what we paid for: a King sized bed. Had two doubles, and it was our anniversary. And the hall ways were nasty and not air conditioned. (105 degrees outside). They sent us to a Double Tree which put us once again in a room with two double beds even though first hotel verified they had a King sized bed. We then […] had to wait for a long time while they checked in families there for a tournament. Because of that we missed our dinner reservation. Then when I called about it I was kept on the phone for nearly an hour (mostly spent on hold) to be told I needed to call back the next day because somehow your team determined it was the hotel's fault. Then the supervisor I was put on with acted in the most unprofessional and snide way I've ever experienced. She had one goal and that was to make me say a bad word so she could hang up in my face. She didn't like that my logic (which was pure logic) went against what she claimed to be the policy; (Please contact me if you want to hear it) and if it were the policy then how is this possible: The gentleman the next day handled the situation in roughly 15 minutes (five of that was me explaining the situation), was professional and wasn't a supervisor. Hotel and location are good, however, I booked and paid for a king size bed in my room and they gave me 2 doubles. When I requested the king, I was told they had no more. Hotel did nothing to compensate for their mistake.

We have stayed at the hotel before and like it very much. We wanted to enjoy the pool, but there were a lot of children. We just wanted to relax as adults. On the other hand we remember how fun it was for our own kids to play in the pool.
