"Nice hotel - All needs available"
Stayed for 3 nites. Check in/out was painless and quick. Room was large enough and quiet. Overall didn't have any complaints. Ended up eating at the hotel once we realized that was the best bang for the buck in the area. "Didn't have to leave the resort"
We had a very relaxing three day stay. The hotel was right on the beach, had two pools, an ok gym, several bars, live music, great three-hour-long happy hour and an "excellent seafood buffet." "Over the 4th"
Stayed over the 4th of July. It was nice. Rooms were clean and smelled clean. Everyone that worked there that we encountered were pleasant. The pool is a little small for the amount of people at the hotel on a crowded weekend. Even smaller is the walk-way around it. I liked the location of this motel. It is way up north and away from the boardwalk traffic. I did not realize they allow dogs. I HATE dogs. There were a lot if dogs there. We do clean our pools several times a day, and chemical checks are run by our own pool staff and spot checked by the town. It's true that we aren't within walking distance to the boardwalk, but we don't claim to be. The town bus runs between the inlet and the state line, and you can ride for $3 all day. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel and directly across the street. I hope you reported the AC as not working while on property, as we try to resolve issues for guests immediately. Our stay at this hotel was great. The hotel was clean, had very friendly staff and it was in a convenient location. We didn't get a good view of the beach the first night because it was full but they moved us to another room the very next day which had the oceanfront view that we wanted. Showed up at the hotel and they incorrectly gave us a two bed room- not the king I ordered. Also room smelled like cigarettes BUT the one saving grace was their offer to move us across the street to the condos which cost more. Went to Ocean City from Baltimore for a quick trip to the beach. We were traveling with the dog so it was nice that a beachfront hotel allowed us to bring her. FYI, they will charge you a $39/night pet fee in addition to the hotels.com price. The room was comfortable but not lux, clean and parking is free. "Great accommodations on the beach"
We arrived early, and although there weren't any rooms ready the front desk staff was extremely accommodating. They pre-registered us and even called to let us know when the rooms were ready. We liked almost everything about this hotel. One exception was the bathroom in our room. The toilet seat was too small, and I'm not a big guy. The space for the commode was too narrow, only a couple inches on both sides. Made it difficult to get to the toilet paper. We loved the ocean view and being able to have our dog stay with us. I booked our stay through Expedia and did not have a good experience. We arrived at the hotel with our dog. The next day the desk called and said we'd have to move locations because we had a dog and we were not on the dog floor of the hotel. They pointed out to me that if you have a dog you must book directly with the hotel, not through Expedia or anyone […] else. When I booked the room it took an inordinate amount of time for the reservationist to understand my request. 23 minutes to be exact. She repeated to me several times, you, your husband and your dog are confirmed. I do not fault the reservationist. I understand that she is in the Philippines and just because she understands English does not mean that this job it well suited to her.
