Two things stuck out about our stay. The counter staff at check in was devoid of emotion - I expect a hello and a bit of a smile. I did not get it. The other thing was we arrived at 3 and the official check in was at 4. They could have found something before 4 but made no effort to do so. The room was ready at 4, when I went back to the counter. A bad start. The staff at the bar and at breakfast the next morning were exceptional. First impressions count for me and I will not be back. Too many options.

I'm sorry that you feel our front desk personnel was devoid of emotion. You certainly should have received a smile and a hello, and I apologize sincerely that you didn't get that. Unfortunately, we probably didn't have rooms ready when you got there. Our policy is a 4pm check-in, but we always try to get everyone checked in as soon as rooms are available. It makes it much easier for the staff to check guests in if they are staggered than if they all come in at the same time. I would not recommend the Breakfast and dinner buffet. The food choices were very minimal and poorly cooked. The outside pool spa was closed by the Department of Health. Overall it was an experience I would not duplicate.

I enjoyed my stay there with my husband. We requested top floor and they were able to accommodate us. The view was spectacular, although I do wish the balcony was larger with seating. There was live entertainment which we enjoyed along with the view as we sat on the balcony. The staff was very friendly, fast and helpful. I would also suggest calling to see what events are taking place at the Hotel Conference Center. Unfortunately when we were at hotel there was a Dance competition being held there for young girls. These girls were I and out the few elevators that they have constantly. The parking was also jammed up due to this event too. It was a little frustrating coming back to hotel and not finding parking or having to park all the way across the street. But, all in all I enjoyed myself thoroughly!! I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend!!

I loved this hotel I have already told my friends they must stay there. Friendly staff great food. Live band that had everyone on their feet. Oh and right at the beach. The beach was not crowded like down towards the boardwalk. Can't wait to visit again

We felt that the "balcony" was too small - couldn't even fit a chair on it. Outside of that, the room was comfortable, clean, and perfect for our stay at the beach. The location was far away from the boardwalk, which is a disadvantage regarding boardwalk activities, if that is what you are looking for. There are plenty of restaurants and a grocery store nearby, which was convenient.

The hotel is overpriced for what they offer. The only good think was the indoor and outdoor pools, other than that, less than average. Bathroom upstairs was leaking and they had to move us to the room next door. The ocean view isn't an advantage given the fact the balcony is extremely small and can't fit two people, save your money and take city view.

Stayed for 3 nites. Check in/out was painless and quick. Room was large enough and quiet. Overall didn't have any complaints. Ended up eating at the hotel once we realized that was the best bang for the buck in the area. Although I was with a little child and couldn't take advantage of all the amenities, there is plenty to do at this hotel with the outdoor bar/grill, live music, fitness area.....etc. I would/will definitely go back to Ocean City and stay at this hotel.

We had a very relaxing three day stay. The hotel was right on the beach, had two pools, an ok gym, several bars, live music, great three-hour-long happy hour and an "excellent seafood buffet." The few things I disliked was the lack of a coffee shop for quick coffee and light breakfast. (Breakfast buffet was not same quality as dinner.) Didn't like staff riding elevators with guests and they need to better stay on top of cleaning glass doors.

Stayed over the 4th of July. It was nice. Rooms were clean and smelled clean. Everyone that worked there that we encountered were pleasant. The pool is a little small for the amount of people at the hotel on a crowded weekend. Even smaller is the walk-way around it. With the lounge chairs in some places it does not give the walker much room at all to get by. Life guards seemed attentive. People seemed to be saving chairs, although there is a sign warning against it.

I liked the location of this motel. It is way up north and away from the boardwalk traffic. I did not realize they allow dogs. I HATE dogs. There were a lot if dogs there. Apparently this is one of very few that do allow dogs. Do not stay here if you don't like dogs. The pool was nice. The staff was very good. The beach is right there, and it is very nice. I thought is was overpriced, but we were there July 4th week-end. We were on the top (16th) floor, and as busy as it was, it was a major process getting up and down to our room.

We booked 3 rooms for 2 nights. Appearance and first impression was bad. Pictures on website are deceiving. Pools were not clean. Half the time Air condition did not work . You cannot walk to board walk. Not worth the values

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your accommodations. We do clean our pools several times a day, and chemical checks are run by our own pool staff and spot checked by the town. It's true that we aren't within walking distance to the boardwalk, but we don't claim to be. The town bus runs between the inlet and the state line, and you can ride for $3 all day. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel and directly across the street. I hope you reported the AC as not working while on property, as we try to resolve issues for guests immediately. Our stay at this hotel was great. The hotel was clean, had very friendly staff and it was in a convenient location. We didn't get a good view of the beach the first night because it was full but they moved us to another room the very next day which had the oceanfront view that we wanted. We even stayed an extra night. We would definitely stay there the next time we visit. The only downside was that it didn't include breakfast but it did include free parking.

Showed up at the hotel and they incorrectly gave us a two bed room- not the king I ordered. Also room smelled like cigarettes BUT the one saving grace was their offer to move us across the street to the condos which cost more. However we switched rooms twice due to the first one having no AC. We finally got settled at 1am on the first night. Beach access is great but it is packed with people. My girlfriend left her earrings behind and they claim to have never found them even though I told them she left them on the nightstand. Bad experience.

Went to Ocean City from Baltimore for a quick trip to the beach. We were traveling with the dog so it was nice that a beachfront hotel allowed us to bring her. FYI, they will charge you a $39/night pet fee in addition to the hotels.com price. The room was comfortable but not lux, clean and parking is free. They have gluten free menu options; the stuffed mushrooms were spectacular! There is live entertainment at the outdoor bar and the bartenders are friendly and accommodating. It's not close to the boardwalk but the front office staff called a taxi for us which arrived exactly at the time we requested. Good hotel at a reasonable price.

We arrived early, and although there weren't any rooms ready the front desk staff was extremely accommodating. They pre-registered us and even called to let us know when the rooms were ready. The breakfast buffet at the Oceanfront restaurant was excellent. The gym was well equipped and very large. I will definitely stay here again.

The a/c was not working. They bought in new unit. We requested another room and they accommodate us. As they removed the unit dirt and dust was dispatched in air. Glad we moved. Someone got the room 2 hrs later. Rooms were muggy smelling we bought candles.

Hotel was very nice with lots of amenities. Great location. The room was clean and comfortable. All of the rooms only have side balconies but the view of the ocean was still nice. My only complaint is that the bathtub could have been caulked better. I'm pretty picky and I don't like to see any signs of mold in bathrooms and my bathroom had mold around the tub :-( Other than that, I was pleased.

We liked almost everything about this hotel. One exception was the bathroom in our room. The toilet seat was too small, and I'm not a big guy. The space for the commode was too narrow, only a couple inches on both sides. Made it difficult to get to the toilet paper. We loved the ocean view and being able to have our dog stay with us. However, the pet fee seemed exorbitant. Having an on-site pet park was a real plus. Great HD TV. Lighting in room was very good. Easy chair and ottoman were not comfortable, needed to be softer. The restaurants and servers made it unnecessary to leave the hotel for excellent food. The crab cakes were outstanding, as was the shrimp pasta. Fish and chips were fried to perfection but were bland. A used bar of soap had been left in the shower and there was mold in the grouting.

Overall not bad. It is in a good location and has lots of onsite stuff to do. Everything in OC is old except the Hilton I think. The room was not bad, the beds were comfortable, and the location and access to the beach was great. I would stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay. I stayed because I wanted to just soak in a hot tub. It was great, the spouts on the left side were so powerful, it was better than any massage by person. Enjoyed the steam room as well. I even saved using this site over booking from the hotel's site. The bed was awesome and even at check out she really seemed to care how my stay was instead of the stock question.

This is the first Pet Friendly Hotel where I have stayed with my small dog. I was delighted to enter the room (on the dog floor) that was fresh and very clean. When visiting Ocean City I will stay there again.

Great place to stay....prices compatible, comfortable & right on ocean. Even accepts dogs with an area outside just for them to roam. Keys always worked. Beds very soft.

We took our 2 jack russells, the hotels courtesy toward dogs and the fenced in dog walk are was all very nice

I planned to make my fiancé - Corrie, a surprise party by the Swimimg Pool of the hotel, w/friends Saturday early evening. But, as we arrive at the hotel we were informed that the pool is close. Also they gave us 2 keys to our room but for some reason none of them worked. So, I, after driving almost 4 hours from MD , had to go to the front desk to get new keys. It make me sad that I have to run in the hotel and not take a short rest!!!

I booked our stay through Expedia and did not have a good experience. We arrived at the hotel with our dog. The next day the desk called and said we'd have to move locations because we had a dog and we were not on the dog floor of the hotel. They pointed out to me that if you have a dog you must book directly with the hotel, not through Expedia or anyone else. When I booked the room it took an inordinate amount of time for the reservationist to understand my request. 23 minutes to be exact. She repeated to me several times, you, your husband and your dog are confirmed. I do not fault the reservationist. I understand that she is in the Philippines and just because she understands English does not mean that this job it well suited to her. It was very inconvenient to totally pack up everything and move to another room in the hotel. I will not use Expedia again.

Very dog friendly. Instead of having dogs on every floor they dedicated the 5th floor exclusively for guests with animals. They have a fenced in dog run. Awesome staff.

The indoor pool looks nothing like the pictures. They allow pets but the pet floor smells like pee. Yuck!!!

We thought the quality of this hotel was much lower than similarly priced businesses. Room smelled smoky, parking was difficult to find, and the hours of the shopping and restaurants were limited.

We stayed at this hotel in mid-October. We unknowingly visited on the hot-rod weekend. The rooms are not sound-proof at all, so we heard the loud engines on Coastal Hwy. all hours of the night. But that was not the worst part. They allow pets to stay in the rooms. One of the guests had a small yappy dog in their room right next to the elevator. The dog barked whenever the elevator doors opened, the entire night. The balconies do not allow a very good view of the ocean, in fact, we overlooked the air conditioning units.
