"Busy even at night."
Very close to LAX (less than 5 mins). I checked in after 10pm at night and the lobby was packed with people trying to check in and out, it was very chaotic. I managed to get checked in, in an appropriate amount of time via the starwood gold/plat line, if I used another line it would have taken around 30 mins. To get my car valeted it took over 20 mins […] because there were so many people and the valet did know who's car was who's. This time we had a terrible stay because of the noise from neighboring rooms. At 2:00 am the TV next door kept us awake. All this place is, is a place to sleep after getting off the plane. An agent saw me online waiting to register and left the front desk without excusing himself, took him about 20 minites to come back with no apology. Loved the hotel my only complaint would be parking. They have a shuttle service which we used once and when we attempted to use it again the driver was very rude and said that if you self parked u have to walk to the parking lot. Overnight stay after returning from Europe. Just wanted someplace near LAX to sleep before catching a morning flight. Very quiet room and clean, had some trouble getting the room temperature correct, odd that you have to close the bathroom door to use the toilet but whatever,a bit dated but OK. Tried out the in hotel restaurant based on internet reviews as we just wanted something light to eat. Didn't live up to the ratings, in our opinion, but the manager did come by and ask. We were honest about the food since he asked. He recognized what we mentioned and felt it may be due to a large convention that was slamming the kitchen. Without asking he adjusted the charges and removed the poorly executed dishes. Commend him on this.
