this is a generally efficient and friendly business hotel, well situated in the heart of Stockholm. Sadly there are occasional 'blips' that keep it off the 'excellent' rating - extremely slow check-out, and for me this last time, an annoying lack of a phone that worked... At least they took off the internet fee as an apology, which I appreciated - though should a business hotel be charging for interent services?

A very nice hotel in a very central location. Nothing extra special though. Very comfortable and clean and breakfast was wonderful. It just didn't have any of the extra special little things that you would expect from a 5* hotel. It was also a bit bland and is obviously decorated to standard chain guidelines with nothing that could offend or giveaway where the hotel is. Comfortable but won't blow you away with charm or luxury.

What can I say? Perfectly located across the street from Central Station and on the waterfront... must be the best breakfast ever offered by a hotel - but still at bit pricey at the discounted €15... but everyone is staggered by the choice of fare on offer. The Internet and printing is free... luggage storage is free when you are leaving... really, if yo can afford it and get some kind of room deal, do it!!

We walked everywhere, the view from our room was lovely, the room and bathroom were immaculate, there was a substantial gym and a relaxing sauna (incl w/room) which we used daily. I highly recommend adding the morning breakfast buffet to your room price. Although it's extra it's well-worth the price and convenience. I'll miss the huge selection of fresh and nutritious foods.

The Sheraton Stockholm Hotel is located right across from Gamla Stan, only a block away from the central train and bus station, and within walking distance to Östermalm, the hip and trendy fashionable district. The hotel room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable, the only problem, somewhat odd and random, was that the pillows were lumpy. But for the price and location, and the ability to get some Starwood points, it cannot be beat!

This hotel is reminiscent of many "American" 3 or 4 star (out of 5) hotels. The things that are nice include ice machines on every floor (a rarity in Europe), daily (free) newspapers, free (restricted) internet in the lobby (rather steep charge for in-room internet), wide-screen TV with plenty of channels. Breakfast is not included with the room when booked via an on-line site, so that will cost you a fair amount if you wish to eat breakfast at the hotel.

This is not the prettiest building from the outside, but the Sheraton has a stylish lobby/bar and well-designed rooms. It's right in the heart of Stockholm - a hop, skip and a jump from the central station, and so easy to get around the city on the Tunnelbana. AS business hotels go, it manages to combine efficiency with a reasonable level of warmth. Everything worked - which is exactly what I want in a business hotel.

Hotel is in good condition. We got the room with the execellent view of the old town looking over the canals. Only one night we had problem with the room's air conditioning, We were ofered other room and asked us to get ready to shift, I got my wife out of the bed to shift but then we were told that the room have been assigned to some other guest. Very annoying. We were offered other room but they did not have good view and we did not want to shift . We were offered a complimentary to compensate. But the room service department in the hotel seems bit crazy. They gave misleading information on service charges. We asked for plates , they came back in 2 hours to ask for plates back. I ordered for 2 drinks they brought 1 drink, then on asking got second . But after 20 mns came back with Burgers saying i ordered them but I did not order them. It took me 1 hour to just order 2 drinks as room service could not figure out what i am ordering though i was in a menu in the room. Location of the hotel is great. Easy location to get to main sight seeing sights on feet. The duty manager was helpful, she gave us late check out to compensate for the discomfort. I would recommend the hotel if you get a good deal.
