The room was freshly painted and new carpet. The Kitchen Area had extremely outdated cabinets, but clean. Very little cooking items or dishware. But overall a good value for the money. However try to get on a upper floor. The walls seem paper thin and whomever was in the room above us sounded like the was having a Hoe Down all night. Stomping and Running. […] It went on all night long. But once again still good value. I do advise management that this was a Saturday night and whomever was on the evening shift around 7pm was extremely loud and rude to whomever was in the hall way. She was screaming that whomever was in a non smoking section and to get out. I think there could have been a lot better professional way to handle so the entire hotel did not have to hear it. The rooms was supposed to have two queen beds, it had one and a pull out sofa, which had dirty sheets and was disgusting! I was so told when I called the front office, that they didn't have two bed rooms. It was so dirty!

The location of the hotel is very convenient. I've stayed in nicer rooms for a lot less money. The carpet was extremely stained & looked dirty. The room smelled of air freshener so strong that it put me into an asthma attack. The air barely worked. We used the in-room kitchen while we were there and the stove took FOREVER to bake chicken, almost 3 hours […] (I believe). the only reason I dropped the overall rating to a '4' is because for some reason the hotel room was very noisy. The appliances were noisy, the air conditioner was noisy, and at 4:30 in the morning it sounded like there was construction going on somewhere in the hotel. One of our relatives lives nearby the hotel in an apartment. The hotel is very convenient to stay at when we visit instead of trying to all fit at their place. The kitchenette is a great way for us to save on eating expenses. Not having to eat out for all of our meals saves us quite a bit of money. Beware of this Hotel if you are running late on your trip. We were delayed in our arrival and arrived at this hotel at 11:30 PM. We found out as we approached the check in office that the close at 11:00 PM and they had a courtesy phone with an extension number to dial for after hours service. When that person picked up, I told her that I had a reservation […] for the night, to which she replied no you don't, they had no reservations for the night. She came down to the office to tell me that there were no reservations and that the hotel tried to contact me earlier in the day to tell me that the room was cancelled because my credit card was declined. I told the woman that she was mistaken and this was a pre paid room through Expedia and that she needs to check their reservation system. It was at this point I find out she has no access to the reservation system because she is a laundry attendant. I told her that there better be someone that she could call to access the system. She contacted someone who told her that our reservation was in the drawer. So we finally got into our room for the night, but were told that we would have to pay for the room in the morning. At this point we were so tired we went to bed for the night. In the morning I went back to the front desk to straighten things out , and was told that there was a misunderstanding and that i need to be nicer to the staff. The room was very clean, bathroom very clean. Nice kitchen are that wasn't expected. This trip was only supposed to be my husband and I but our 5 year old came also. Only one bed in the room but the staff found us extra blankets and pillow in case one of us had to sleep in the recliner! We didn't but we were prepared. The smell throughout the whole hotel was a combination of urine and cooked cabbage. I knew we were in trouble when we pulled up and saw a cat peering out an open window at us. The room was dirty; some sort of unidentified goop on the dinett and hairs all over the bathroom.

The motel room was nice and the people were very accomodating. I had a little kitchenette that was stocked with dishes. It was a very nice room. The motel was off the beaten path, though. I had finally gone to Hobby Lobby and asked if someone could give me directions. A lovely lady told me to follow her after she checked out of the Hobby Lobby. I wouldn't […] have found it on my own. Also, I had asked for a first floor room. Sometimes steps are a difficulty for me. I suppose I was on the first floor, but all the rooms were up at least one flight of steps from the front desk. Customer service was excellent. Front desk was very helpful. The room carpet was badly stained. Walls in bathroom and room needed cleaning. Carpet was not completely vaccumed. The dishes were put away dirty, or poorly washed. Air fresher in hall way was menat to mask the foul smell.

I was in the area for a seminar nearby the week of the Memorial Golf Tournament. Prices were sky high for any other room in the area. This one was quite reasonable so I decided to give it a try.
