    I could not get a non smoking room booked even though it showed that it was available on line. I had to talk to a person on the phone and they said none were available so we settled for a smoking room that smelled very bad and did not lend to a good nights sleep, as my wife has asthma.     It was fine because it was just a place to sleep. The sheets and comforter were .very worn but seemed clean. I did try and do a bedbug check when I came in and did not see any any sign. big concern.

    The one thing that stands out was the smell of the room. An over use of air freshener. To me that is a clue of bigger issues. I'm glad it was for only one night.

    This hotel was old and tired. They were repainting and remodeling. The owners looked like they were trying to make improvements. They were just not finished yet. For the money, it was ok at this point. Reviews may be better later in the fall of 2011. I wish them well. They were friendly.

    Several reasons the room could use some better maintenance but the room was clean and after 3 days there we got used to the defects. Pretty good room for the price through expedia. Breakfast was was pretty good. Front desk service was good and cooperative.
