We have lately found the Hampton Inn chain to be reliable and to our liking. The right combination of comfort, cleanliness and price. This one was no exception. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. The staff was super-friendly, though we didn't really need much from them. We would stay at the same place again if we were in Morgan Hill.

The title says it all. It was perfect for what we needed: a clean quiet place to sleep during our vacation. We found it to be a great value. You do have to drive a mile or so for food but there are places at the next Hwy 101 exit to the north (Dunne) and even more at the next exit (Cochrane).

The hotel and room were nicely updated, and the location was perfect for the soccer tournament we were participating in. I had looked for a room to accommodate 5 people, and was told this room could do that. However, the room had only 2 double beds. When I had spoken with someone earlier, they were unsure of whether a roll-away bed or sofa bed would […] be in our room. When we arrived, we were told that a roll-away would not fit, and there was no safa-bed. Fortunately, I had planned ahead and brought a blow-up mattress. I still don't know how that room could be classified as "sleeps 5 people." The staff were pleasant and courteous, but did not address my call at 10:00pm to ask the VERY LOUD guests in the lobby/dining area to quiet down. Finally at midnight, I took care of it myself. So . . . all in all, nice hotel, decent service . . . just know what you are getting into on a sports/soccer weekend. I should have asked to be moved away from the lobby, and will do that next time. The hotel renovation is now complete and the results are amazing. The entire hotel from the lobby to the rooms has been totally improved. The front desk staff was very helpful and accomodating. The Ramada Inn - Morgan Hill is very conveniently located off the 101 fwy. Although the hotel is a bit older, it was clean and well maintained. The room was large and the bed comfortable. Every balcony but ours had a chair on it which would have been nice to have since my daughter smoked out there often. I was also disappointed that our 'balcony view' had giant trees in front of it and we could see nothing. I also wasn't happy with the music selection the front desk clerk was playing. This hotel met our needs for a business trip. Nice large bathtub, tiny microwave and in room fridge were plusses. The carpet and furniture have seen better days, yet overall the room seemed clean though a bit musty/smoky even though a non smoking room. You are better off with an upstairs room with a balcony and you will either be facing hwy 101 or the […] foothills and parking lot to the east. Full buffet breakfast was a carb fest (no protein options) with breads, cereal and waffles. = ( Hard boiled eggs would be a nice addition. Nothing special but it worked, and not a bad deal! Plumbing needs upgrading, the shower made shrill sounds( had to play with the knobs to kill the noise). The bathroom faucet was hard to use, door strike was missing making it difficult to open the door. I was in construction for over 40 years so I can fix nearly anything but most people would have complained big time. I wii stay there again.

The lobby is lovely as you enter the hotel, the employees were friendly. Our room was comfortable and breakfast had a number of healthy choices. I would stay there againl My only complaint was the sheets on the king size bed were for a queen so popped off the corners during the night and the top sheet wasn't big enough to tuck in.

We had a great value with four people. Fourth person was an extra $20/night. Two teenagers in our group. Some wear, but nothing major to push towards another hotel for the money. Two Queen Beds, both comfortable. Standard Business travelers Breakfast - free each morning- waffles(make your own), bagels, toast, Hot and cold cereals, apples, Juice, coffee […] (better than the room coffee offering). The hotel was nice and the staff was helpful. However, the hotel did not have NBC. Five channels of HBO and a lot of other channels. Sunday night football was on NBC. I could not watch my favorite team play because the hotel decied to replace the NBC channel with a spanish channel.
